I absolutely adore this scent, as it is truly unisex. Both my partner and I love and use this scent. I'm partial to sultry, sexy scents, and this fits the bill perfectly. Of course, if you prefer the stereotypical women's scent, this perfume is definitely not for you. It really simplifies things for both my partner and I, as we only have to buy one scent for both of us. I'm crossing my fingers that Unbreakable Bond does not fade into obscurity. It contains notes of: "a blend of Italian bergamot, sparkling clementine, Asian saffron, green apple, African geranium, sheer jasmine, lily of the valley, juicy red fruits, texas cedarwood, tonka bean, vanilla bean and dark chocolate." It isn't a cheap scent - it's very luxurious. PROS: -long lasting -there isn't an alcohol residue left as it dries, more of an oil, which makes for a long lasting fragrance -truly unisex -GORGEOUS unisex bottle that looks great for both men and women -glass bottle, not cheap plastic -very reasonable price CONS: -not for those with a nose for ultra-feminine scents
I was really disappointed with this eyeshadow quad (in Addictive). There was NO pigment, and the eyeshadow itself was poor in quality. ...and this is coming from someone who only buys drugstore products.
I'm a little iffy on this foundation, even though I love how it looks on my skin because it rubs off on everything. Sneeze into your sleeve? Now your sleeve is flesh colored! Hug someone? Now they're your skin color! ...If it rubs off so easily, how can anyone expect it to stay on? However, I have red, acne prone skin, and I love this. I've tried at least 4 other foundations in a week and all of them went back to the store. This CG foundation gives a light coverage that looks natural. (I'm prone to cake face.) It doesn't cover everything, but why would you want it to? "Flawless" skin looks unnatural and odd to me. This foundation will give you great, natural, but not too great skin. Despite my raving review, I'm still iffy about buying this because it rubs off on everything. It's embarrassing to blow your nose and leave your face on the tissue.
I had previously given this a raving, lengthy review, but have since then decided to edit and take it down 3 stars. If you have normal skin, this would be great. For everyone else, this stuff is good as a face mask or body scrub. It's still fantastic, it just doesn't keep acne at bay on the face. Why would it, though? It's Oatmeal, not Benzoyl Peroxide. It's awesome, just not for acne prone skin. You could easily use this in the morning as a simple cleanser before moisturizing and make up, but make sure to use a heavy acne fighter at night.
EDIT: Becomes cakey as time goes on, especially on acne.
I bought this in Coral and Rose and I am absolutely thrilled with them. This is my HG blush. The color Coral gives a natural flush. The color Rose gives you a Snow White flush, which is still natural, but pretty and delicate. I wear very minimal make-up: foundation, mascara, a bit of eyeliner at the ends of my lashes, blush, and chap stick. I love natural looking make-up, and this fits the bill. I've been searching EVERYWHERE for a product that could give me a fairytale flush, and Rose is it! PROS: -natural looking -sheer, but pigmented blush -you need a minimal amount of product to get a pretty flush -comes in great colors -only $5 for a good amount of product -this is NATURAL, no parabens or preservatives -has shimmer, but it is not noticeable on the skin CONS: -if you touch your face a lot, this will not last -the packaging is annoying for travel, it has the same packaging as the Bare Minerals products.
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation

I had originally given this a 4 star rating, but as I wore it over the next week, I edited my review and now give it a 2 star rating. Over time, this foundation looks cakey - without a setting powder. It also burns when applied to the face, and this is coming from someone who does NOT have sensitive skin. PROS: -price -blends well -not greasy, but moisturizing -the squeeze bottle makes application easy and fast -reminds me of a BB cream, but has the finish and coverage of a light foundation CONS: -the color selection is incredibly lacking, I'm a warm beige and the colors were either incredibly dark or they were a 1/2 shade to 1 shade too light. You may have problems finding an exact match. -burns on the face Overall, I'm still in search of a good foundation.
PROS: -pigmented for a balm -luxurious packaging -great colors -there are sheer colors available CONS: -more of a lipstick then a balm -pretty expensive compared to most butter/balm products Overall, I like Pink Truffle enough to not return it, but it did not wow me as much as Baby Lips did. Especially when you consider the price - you can buy two Baby Lips for one of these. However, Pink Truffle is a gorgeous color, it's moisturizing, and I am not disappointed. If you're looking for a tinted balm, this product is NOT for you. If you're looking for lighter-than-lipstick color, this is perfection.
PROS: -great sheer color -a true tinted lip balm -not gunky like most tinted lip balms -the price is FANTASTIC CONS: -none, except I regret buying Revlon Colorburst because this one is much more fantastic at a third of the cost. I loved Grape Vine so much I plan on owning all of these. I'm a chap stick junkie, but love color - these are perfect! They are so much better than other tinted lip balms I have tried.
Pros: -cheap -works well if you're just smudging into eyelashes Cons: -smudges -not pigmented -has shimmer -NOT long lasting Overall, it sucks. It's usable, if you don't want it to go to waste, but do. not. buy. this.
Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Yogurt
kamiekirk 10/27/2012 9:56:00 AM
Pros: -pigmented -great color -good base -good eyeshadow Cons: -Lid breaks easily Overall, you cannot go wrong with ANY of the NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils. This one is my favorite, as it has a great neutral shimmery color. It's fantastic as an eyeshadow, but is also absolutely gorgeous as a base. It's also just as incredible to brighten the inner corner of your eye. If you had to pick ONE pencil, this is the one you should choose.
Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - French Fries
kamiekirk 10/27/2012 9:54:00 AM
Pros: -pigmented -great color -good base -good eyeshadow Cons: -Lid breaks easily Overall, you cannot go wrong with ANY of the NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils. This one has a great bronze color, that is fabulous for smoky earthy looks. It also lasts a very long time.
Pros: -cheap -does the job Cons: -other brands may be better Overall, I love this primer. It's cheap. It does the job. What more do you want? However, I've done research that shows that the Palladio Herbal Eyelid Primer is better than this product.
Eyes -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder
kamiekirk 10/27/2012 9:41:00 AM
Pros: -great at setting undereye concealer -brightens the undereye Cons: -doesn't live up to product expectations Overall, this product as OK. I think it's great for setting undereye concealer, but it doesn't do much on it's own. There are chunks of glitter in this, as well as shimmer, but it isn't very noticeable, and the shimmer reflects light, which makes your undereye appear brighter. I don't think it lives up to my expectations of what this product should do, but it's not a bad product.
Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
kamiekirk 10/27/2012 9:38:00 AM
Pros: -comparable to Nars -cheap -OK pigmentation Cons: -chunks of glitter in blush AND bronzer Overall, I really disliked this product. I just don't understand why people like chunks of glitter in their blush, let alone their bronzer. I'm an e.l.f. junkie, but this blush just failed in my expectations. When I tried it out, it reminded me of a blush a 11 year old girl would wear - it is NOT a sophisticated blush. The bronzer was better, simply because I use it as an eyeshadow. As a contouring bronzer, it's pretty much pointless because it has tons of shimmer and chunks of glitter. If your face is absolutely dry, lacks color, and lacks health, this blush may work for you. I, however, prefer my natural coloring 100X better than this blush.
