Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear in Made for Mocha

I had run out of my favorite brow powder and decided to look for a replacement. This shade is perfect and matches my brows really well. It also holds up all day and blends great. No complaints and I'm tempted to get a backup.
I had smelled this years ago and after seeing a big 3 oz bottle on amazon.com for 25 bucks, I figured I'd give it a go. I really love it!! It's spicy, sutlry, and sophisticated. The bottle I got is a spray mist which I really like for this is a strong fragrance. If you like whimpy, fruity scents, you may not like this. I find myself reaching for it almost everyday for it has alot of personality unlike most of the newer scents. A classic from the 80's!!
The previous reviewer did a great job at describing this product and I agree with her on all points. It's not moisturizing enough and makes my lips feel drier than before I put it on but I do love the smell! I wish carmex would make one of their other balms in the flavor. I will stick with using their regular tube balms and totally skip this one.
Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips in Cherry Me

I just recently tried these balms and I have to say that I really like them. Lately I haven't wanted to mess with lipstick or anything super pigmented so these are perfect. This one gives lips a sheer reddish color that isn't over the top and just enough to brighten up the face. They are super cheap and at my local Walmart they are only 3 bucks each so I will probably end up with all of them. I have this one and the peach so far. The packaging is super cute and you get a good amount of product too. A win-win!
I added this to my last drugstore.com order for I was excited to see that the formula was called "ultra smooth". It is and I like it alot. Now I will say that I don't get any of the sweet-tart pomegranate flavor described on the package but that doesn't affect the product in my opinion. It just smells and tastes like regular carmex to me but that doesn't bother me. I love the flavor of the lime carmex but it has the tendency to get gooey where this one doesn't. If you are looking for a fun flavored balm you will be disappointed but if you are looking for the pot carmex in a tube form, this will suit you fine.
Out of all the moisture plus tinted balms that I've tried this is my favorite! I'm a NC15 and this is a great sheerish plum on me. It has alot of color for a tinted balm and I'm really impressed. The only problem I have with these is that I can't find them in my area and I ordered this one off drugstore.com. If you are fair and want to try a plum lippie definitely try this one. Such a great product!
Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Smitten

I did research before buying this product and decided that this color looked like the best one for me. I was hoping that it wouldn't quite as bright of a color but even applied lightly, it's very vibrant. I was hoping that this would be more moisturizing but I find it to be very drying. It also leaves a bright ring of color around my lips as it wears off which I'm not crazy about. Yeah, I won't be buying any more of these. *edit* I took this down to one lippie for I returned it.
Pressed Powders -Hard Candy - Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder
kahou79 9/19/2012 10:30:00 PM
I picked this up a couple months ago when my regular powder wasn't cutting it in the hot Arkansas heat. I really like this and I'm fairly light (NC15-20) so the color is perfect. Controls oil well and goes a long way, will rebuy.
Last winter I was having a major dry skin episode, peelies and all. I tried several cheap DS cremes and none of them did a thing but make my peelies seem like I smeared them with grease. This was in the Avon book for $1.99 at the time so I figured I'd buy a couple and give it a try. Wow, this stuff is just plain amazing and my peelies disappeared overnight. This is now a staple for me and I use it everynight. It does have a floral scent that I could live without but I don't notice it anymore and it doesn't take away from the product at all. If you have dry skin, try this! You will be amazed like I was.
I ordered a threesome of this fragrance a few weeks ago which included the EDT, lotion and shower gel for $15. I just love it!! I'm not great at describing fragrances but, to me, this is a warm amber scent that is laced with spice. So pretty and I already have an order in for another bottle. I hope they keep this one awhile!
I love these glosses and the price can't be beat since I got them on sale for about 3 bucks. They are very moisturizing and last a while too. They aren't sticky and I prefer these to all the HE ones I've tried.
First off I purchased a new bottle of this and was disappointed with the staying power so I picked up an older bottle on ebay. The older formulation is *so* much better and wears all day on me. The newer formulation turns "soapy" on me if that makes sense. It's ok but the older version has a richness that reminds me of Gloria Vanderbilt which is another classic fragrance. I will say with the original version, which has the lettering running vertically down the bottle, can be *very* strong so be sure to only spray on a little. I gave my mom, who has never been sensitive to fragrance whatsoever, a headache while wearing it for I put on a bit too much. lol I've already picked up a backup of the original.
I love this fragrance and to me, it's the epitome of class. My husband gave me a bottle of this, at my request, for an anniversary a couple of years ago and it got pushed to the back of my cologne cabinet to be rediscovered a few days ago. I'm not good at describing scents but this is a fresh floral that has a sophistocated edge. I read that when this came out in the 70's that no store could keep it on the shelves. A true classic that every woman should discover.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Insta-Dry Fast Dry Nail Color
kahou79 8/1/2011 1:53:00 PM
I have three of these: Ruby rush, tealy fast and jumpin' jade. They go on in one coat, dry really fast and I get about 5 days of wear before they start to chip. I wish the bottles were .5 oz instead of a .33 oz but I got them on sale so no biggie, I guess. I use gelous basecoat and Sally hansen insta-dry topcoat with these for reference.
After hearing about this and the new lime flavor on a blog I was looking forward to trying them. I finally found them last week and have been using them ever since. This has a little thinner texture and glides on the lips a little easier. Love and will continue to rebuy!
