Polishes -Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength - Royal Romance

OMG this stuff is great. I had bought this a while back & never used it. I've got probably 100 or more nail polishes of all price ranges. Well last week I decided to use this one because of a new shirt I was going to wear the next day. It's 7 days later and NO CHIPS. I have a little wear at the tips of my nails but that's nothing. In fact for the first time ever, with any polish, I'm going to just touch up the tips & I'm good probably for another week. AMAZING. I really need to take another look at the Diamond Strength collection because this stuff LAST!!!
BB Cream -L'Oreal - Age Perfect BB Cream Instant Radiance

OMG I'm in love w/this product. It's very shear but does give you coverage. The best part is that it becomes your skin tone & doesnt look AT ALL like foundation. But yet, it does mask imperfections. I will say, that I have pretty good skin and this gives me great coverage w/out having to use a real foundation. Perfect for days where you dont want to do your entire face or for when you want the natural look. I have light to medium colored skin & this is a perfect match. If you're really pale, this might not work for you or if you need a heavy coverage then this also isnt for you. This product is IMO a great product for women who have great skin, minimal imperfections and dont like the regular foundation look. I use to use Lancome's tinted moisturizer, but this is SOOOO much better.
This is one of the best "gradual" tanners on the market. I think a lot of the low reviews are from people who are using it completely wrong. Yes it's a gradual tanner, but that doesnt mean you should just slap it on and not pay attention to your strokes or overall coverage. Also if you put too much on, OF COURSE you're going to get funky lines. Just put on a light application every day or every other day & you will end up with a real looking base color. Should be w/out saying, but make sure you have exfoliated your skin before applying ANY self tanner. This product goes on sale all the time & you can find coupons for it as well. I've never paid more than $6 for the large tube.
I got this for free with a Sephora order & it sat around for a while before I ran out of my previous mascara. I wasn't too sure if I'd like it becuase the wand is so big and I wasnt use to using such a large wand. Well, all I can say is WOW!!! I FINALLY found my holly grail mascara. WOOOHOOO I actually pair this w/the lancome primer and it is just amazing. On all day, no dropping, no flaking, just awesome eye lashes. I have decent lashes as it is, but when I started using this, my friends asked if I was wearing false eye lashes. That's how much more ooomph I got. I wish it was cheaper, but since I'm in love w/it, I'll stop my search for the perfect mascara & just stick with this one.
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - 40 carrots-Carrot plus C Vitamin Serum
kaethie 9/8/2012 12:47:00 PM
I recently saw this at TJMaxx for $5.99. Since I'd tried a vit C serum once years and years ago by Avon & had great results w/that one, I thought I'd try the 40 carrots. I bought two bottles because it was such a great price & I figured I could return the 2nd bottle if I didn't see any great results w/the first bottle. All I can say is WOW.. I LOVE IT. It's not as strong as the one Avon use to carry, but that's ok with me because it's also not as heavy & greasy as the avon one was. I had lots of sun damage on my chest area & I can not tell you how fast this serum just gobbled up the brown spots. I'm sooo happy because I was considering IPL's etc., which are pricey. Now, I will say this, if you DON'T have allot of sun damage, you probably wont notice w/the bare eye, how well Vit C works. I say this because my face doesn't have as much sun damage due to all the extra care I've given it, so on my face, I don't "see" much change, but that doesn't mean it's not helping. Based on how dramatically it's changed my chest area, I KNOW this stuff works. I only use it at night before bed because it's really not a day serum IMO.
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Spectrum Avocado Oil
kaethie 7/11/2012 3:15:00 PM
I have searched high & low for the best under eye hydrator & the best I found was one by Shiseido (sp?). Even though it was the best I'd tried, it still didn't make me totally happy. I was on another site about moisturizers & stumbled upon all these reviews of pure avocado oil (sold in the cooking oil section). I finally found it at Sprouts and only by one manufacturer, "Spectrum". It's about $10 for a 8 oz bottle. Let me say this, it is my FOREVER under eye moisturizer now. I wash my face at night and gently pat it on my eyes (top & bottom, and doesn’t hurt eyeballs at all if it gets in) and onto my cheeks. Wake up the next morning with baby soft skin. Lines are WAY less noticeable. I even put it on in the morning before my sun block & make up. Let it sink in for a couple mins. I will NEVER stop using this stuff. I can’t believe all the money I have spent over the years trying to make my under eye lines look less noticeable. The bottle last forever too. I just started putting it on my lips at night as well to help keep away those lip lines I see on women. I once tried it on my entire face & it caused me to break out a little around my nose. I'm guessing the pores didn’t need the extra oil. But even that experiment wasn’t bad. I stay outside my T-zone and all is perfect. Also, it's an amazing hair mask. Put it on, sleep, wash out in the moring. BEST hair moisturizer ever. LOVE this stuff.
Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Keratin Infusion Color Care Shampoo

I bought this and the conditioner at Target last night, so today was the first time trying it. Wow, I have to say I'm really surprised at how awesome this is. It left my hair feeling great. It's super soft but not heavy or greasy feeling. I have long hair but it's fine so some products leave my hair tooooo soft & tooo sleek, if that makes sense? I normally only blow dry my bangs and let the rest air dry so I end up with some frizz from the split ends, etc., but this product really smoothed my hair out, to the point that I didnt put any Moroccon oil it today. Which I usually have to do. I Henna my hair so I got the "for colored hair" version, so time will tell how well it helps hold in the color. It seems to have less sulphates in it which is great for me since they strip the color out of my hair anyway.I also bought the dry shampoo stuff Suave has and I plan on trying that tomorrow to see if it realy does match up with the bumble & bumble brand. It's so cheap, that I would say everyone should at least try it.

Because my office stays so cold, I have a floor heater. Well that heater has dried out my feet like never before. I get pedicures regularly and have NEVER had dry cracked heels in my life until this past year. I have tried everything & yes some products do work, but I hate the vasaline feel so I quickly give up. I saw this for $6.99 at Ross the other day & picked it up. OMG I looooooove this stuff. Just after one day I could feel a HUGE difference. It is slippery but nothing as bad as thick gooy products. I actually like the smell too. I finally found what I needed.
Treatments (Eye) -Shiseido - Benefiance Concentrated Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream
kaethie 10/13/2011 11:34:00 AM
I bought a small sample of this on ebay ($10) after reading the reviews here. And for the price of the sample, I thought, "it better work". I dont have dark circles unless I get too little sleep, nor do I have puffy eye skin, so for me, I mostly need a great eye cream to help w/the under eye wrinkles. I started using it just at night & then in the morning as well, under my make up. Like others have said, it absorbs slowly, so if you are going to wear it under your makeup, allow yourself time for it to sink in. After my sample was gone, I went back to using other eye creams I still had (since I'm constantly trying new ones). Wow, did I notice a difference. I must say that I hadn't realized how much the Shisheido really decreased the look of the fine lines WHILE I was using it. But I realized it after I went back to some other products. I kept looking in the mirror like "OMG where did these lines come from" and then it dawned on me, I stopped using the Shisheido. I didn't have NEW lines of course, but the other products clearly weren't doing as good a job of minimizing them. My skin is your typical T-zone, so it's not like I have really dry or oily skin, but I must (?) have dry skin under my eyes because "for me", this stuff is just perfect. If you're older & have the normal "aging" skin, then I would recommend trying a sample, it'll last you about a month & just see how that works out for you. I'm going to buy more as soon as I finish this review. On a side note, everyone should take fish oils, you'll see a HUGE difference in your skin.
Self Tanners -Lancome - Flash Bronzer Tinted Leg Gel
kaethie 6/29/2011 1:07:00 PM
I got 2 large samples of this recently with a purchase and OMG this stuff is AWESOME.. I first used it on my arms & I couldnt believe how tan I looked.. like a REAL tan, not orange at all.. And it soaks in nicely, no lines... So I tried it on my legs & the same thing.. awesome.. I havent used it on my face yet, but I will soon. I dont know how much it actually cost, but I'll probably end up buying it once these 2 freebies are finished.. That's how much I love this stuff. It is my HG now.
Concealers -Lancome - Maquicomplet (Complete Coverage Concealer)
kaethie 6/21/2011 10:38:00 AM
I was using Boi-ing and it was good but I had bought the wrong shade & it was too light for me. So, one day while at the lancome counter I decided to try one of their concealers for the first time. At first I loved it because the color was perfect for me. Very pricey but I figured it was worth it becasue I liked the color match so much. So far so good, or so I thought. I have little lines under my eyes, which are normal for my age and because I have high cheek bones & I smile a lot. But honestly I have great skin & take really good care of it so I was getting worried when I noticed the lines seemed to be getting worse really fast. Well low & behold, it's this lancome concealer.. I had lost my Lancome tube for a week & went back to the Boi-ing I still had.. granted it was still too light for me, but i noticed how great the lines under my eyes looked that week; you could hardly see them. I actually thought maybe it was just a fluke.. But nope...when I found the Lancome & started using it again... BAM the lines were right back w/agression. I dont think the Lancome is causing them to get worse or anything like that. I just think the concealer is way too much like a foundation & it's sinking into the fine lines & making them look much worse.. The Boi-ing is more like a paste & so I think it looks better because it sits on top of the lines instead of sinking into them, thus making them more pronounced. So.. with that said.. if you have fine lines around or under your eyes, this might not be the concealer for you.
The color on the outside of the pencil is much prettier then the actual liner itself. I'm returning it.
The color on the outside of the container is much prettier then the color of the actual liner. I'm returning it. I found 3 awesome bronze/brown colors at Sephora (Sephora brand) for $8 each. And the Sephora ones go on much easier. I can't say anything about the "waterproof" aspect of the Le Stylo because I haven't tested it.
Tinted Moisturizer -Lancome - Bienfait Multi-Vital Teinte SPF 30
kaethie 2/20/2011 7:04:00 PM
I ordered this for the first time online & picked the color (sand) that I thought would match my skin tone the best. When it arrived I was shocked at how dark it looked but when I tried it on my inner arm, it was a perfect match..go figure.. I tried it for the first time yesterday on my face and I LOVE it. I was using MAC but wanted to try something new. I love this stuff & am amazed at how it doesnt look like I have any foundation on but yet have great coverage.. My search for a good base might finally be over. A little goes far too so I'm thinking this tube will probably last me a very long time. ??
