Quite possibly the worst mascara I have ever used. It went into the trash today, after only about a month of usage. Gloppy, think, messy mascara no matter how you try to apply it. The little brush is useless. I'm extremely, extremely disappointed.
This product did nothing for my whiteheads. I've used it correctly and have yet to see it make any kind of difference in my skin. The whiteheads don't look any smaller the next morning, never mind drying up completely. MB's drying mask works better, I've found.
Primer/ Corrector -Bourjois - Lovely Base Redness Correcting Base

One of the nicer green-tinted primers, but this broke me out every time I used it. And even before the break-outs, I didn't notice much of a difference in reducing my redness.
I've been battling acne since I was a teenager - I'm now in my late 30s. I've been using ProActiv with mild success and decided to try Murad after seeing the infomercial. This stuff did not work at all for me and as a matter of fact, it made my skin worse. Not only did I break out long after the "purge" period, the rest of my skin just became dull and splotchy. I'm returning this stuff this weekend but also be forewarned - the website says the Skin Care Club will send you kits every 60 days - they sent me another one in 30 days. Also, this stuff is very expensive for the sizes you get.
Styling Products -Matrix - Textrix - texture blast spray

I had high hopes for this product but it did nothing for my fine, thin hair. I noticed no difference at all - no waves, no texture, no body. For the price, a huge disappointment!
Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Large Face Brush
kacesq 5/27/2005 2:27:00 PM
for the price of these brushes, they should not shed. And they do. Every single time. I use brushes from LaBellaDonna to apply mineral foundation - otherwise I'd have little brush hairs all over my face. Very disappointing.
Scrubs -Bare Escentuals - Liquid Loofah Body Brightener
kacesq 5/27/2005 2:26:00 PM
This is my favorite scrub ever! I am never without it - exfoliates my sensitive skin without irritation and is one of the few products that I can actually feel a difference after using. The only problem I have is the cap on the bottle - rather than use a flip top with a small hole - the entire cap comes off so you wind up using more product than you need.
Mascara -Laura Mercier - Thickening & Building mascara

I find this mascara works very well for me. Not much clumping, nice color, easy application.
Styling Products -Beyond The Zone - split decision
kacesq 5/25/2005 3:30:00 PM
I have a perm and this relatively cheap stuff from Sally's worked much better than a lot of other expensive brands. Excellent for shaping and pumping up the curls, not as good when you blow dry your hair straight, even though it's supposed to be a two-in-one product. but for the price, it's a good deal!
Easily the WORST mascara I have ever used. It clumps. Period. It didn't lengthen, volumize, define, anything! It just clumped. I have to spend way too much time with an eyelash comb after using this product to make it even remotely acceptable to wear outside the house. Save your money.
This product has absolutely no coverage and no staying power. I've solicited tons of advice on how to apply, what to wear underneath, and nothing works. By the middle of the day, it has settled into all my pores and emphasized any flakes I might have. It has also broken me out. I'm extremely disappointed.
Foundations -MAC - Studio Stick SPF 15 ] [DISCONTINUED]
kacesq 8/4/2004 3:50:00 PM
the stick goes on very well, but it has no staying power. I went thru a stick in a little over a month. I needed to put a decent amount of powder on over the foundation to get it to last a little while, but I do have combination skin. Might be better for those with drier skin than I.
This product didn't go on smoothly and coverage was non-existent.
Quite simply the best blush I have ever had. I'm a PPP with red hair and hazel eyes and this color is wonderful on me. It never looks overdone and I get tons of compliments when I wear it.
Concealers -Kevyn Aucoin - The Sensual Skin Enhancer
kacesq 7/7/2004 2:32:00 PM
I had very high expectations for this but was seriously disappointed. I found the consistency to be too dense and the color didn't work for my skintone. My biggest gripe is that the SSE does not stay on. It's touted as being transfer-resistant, but it barely lasted a few hours. Not worth the money.
