Conditioner -Paul Mitchell - Super Strong Daily Conditioner
justinetindall 5/7/2013 10:24:00 AM
I have damaged hair from dying it over the years. I have stopped dying it for over 6 months now, and don't plan on dying again in the near future, but the damage left from before is very evident. This conditioner has really helped. Mind you, I get trims every 3 months and don't use heat styling ever, so that helps too. I usually condition my hair at night, go to bed with wet hair, and wake up with dry string bubblegum like hair at the ends. BUT when I use this conditioner at night, I wake up with smooth and strong hair. I normally only use high end hair products because they are the only ones that actually work for me, and this conditioner is an addition to those that work well for my damaged hair. I got it on sale for $15. Good buy. Would I buy again? Yes, but I always, no matter what, buy a different conditioner after I am done with a bottle of a different one. I like to switch it up so my hair doesn't get used to the compounds. Oh, and my hairdresser who is from Italy, has won various awards, and has been in the business for 25 years said my hair feels much stronger and healthier since ive been using this conditioner. Moral of the story- it's good. Try it.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection - Petal Pusher (736)
justinetindall 5/2/2013 10:58:00 PM
WHOAH, JUST WHOAH. Sorry about the other reviewers, but this palette is friggen amazing on my green eyes. ALL the colours come out soft and creamy on me, and highly pigmented, and actually last all day without creasing. If this was in a fancy packaging and sold at a department store, it could easily go for $50 with good marketing. I usually use only high end makeup, but theres no way i'm buying a high end palette or shelling out money when I can get something like THIS. It cost me $5 altogether with tax. DAMN GOOD BUY

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
justinetindall 4/16/2013 2:49:00 PM
I needed another face powder to replace my Clinique Almost Makeup Powder because it was too dark. Maybelline Matte Powder is actually really good.. for the price. It does what it says it does, and there is virtually no downfall of effects that I have seen. It doesn't cover too much, I would say a light coverage, but it does keep your skin matte and smooth looking. It is easy to blend and doesn't look like you are wearing makeup. I use this alone, or when I go out, I set it over my concealer unders eyes and over minor flaws. I got it for $10 at Target in Canada, and I am pretty happy with my purchase. I am glad I listened to the reviews.

Holy crap... this is really good. And you need barely anything for it to cover I have it in the light Bisque. It is a peachy flesh tone colour. THIS is the HG under eye concealer. It's pretty expensive- $30 Canadian at Sephora, but it last forever and is really effective. Dark Circles DISAPPEAR, and in pictures, your eyes look PERFECT. Really nothing more to say.

Powder -Clinique - Perfectly Real Compact Powder Foundation
justinetindall 4/10/2013 10:58:00 AM
I like this compact for the following reasons: - very cute packaging- vintagy green stone looking, and comes with a good sponge to apply - looks very natural on- medium light converage - easy to blend I don't like this compact because: - shade 108 that I bought is a bit yellow, but the lighter shade is too light - looks kind of oily after a few hours - doesn't hide redness on the cheeks very well - staying power could be better, but it is not too bad. overall, this is a pretty good compact for sensitive skin, and is definately worth buying this over a drugstore powder foundation, imo.

Foundations -Revlon - Nearly Naked Foundation
justinetindall 4/5/2013 9:32:00 AM
This is actually a good, simple, and relatviely inexpensive foundation that does its job. It doesn't get oily or end up cakey on the skin, and it feels light/nonexistant when wearing it. It has slight dewey glow, but depending on the creasing around your eyes, it can settle into fine lines. Overall, it is quick and easy to apply, and for the price and it's claims. It is a good purchase.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Ultra Gentle Apricot Facial Scrub
justinetindall 1/3/2013 2:41:00 PM
It's the best. Theres a reason it sells like hot cakes and people re-buy. It exfoliates like CRAZY. Depending on how much water you add, you can either make it a gentle exfoliator, or more of a deep exfoliator. Really cleans deep into pores. LOVE LOVE. great for feet, elbows, and anywhere else.

Blush -Physicians Formula - Shimmer Strips Custom Blush & Highlighter
justinetindall 11/21/2012 1:11:00 PM
Ok so I got this on sale for $8.50 in the Sunkissed Glow shade, which is a great price considering it has shades that contour, highlight, and give a blushing colour all in one. At first, I didn't understand if it was a highlighter or a blush, but after a few tries with it, I fell in love. It is very natural and subtle on the skin, but since I don't wear a ton of makeup, it shows up perfectly on my fair complexion. I take a contour brush, sweep it accross the palette a few times to get the layered colour, and apply it under and slightly on the cheekbones. The colour stacks from dark to light, so it highlights the top of my cheekbones, blushes my cheeks, and bronzes/contours under my cheekbones in one sweep. It looks shimery in the pan, but really isn't too shimmery on, and as I said, the colour is natural and pretty. Not to mention, the peachy colours look amazing on my green eyes- really brings makes them pop naturally. I wear this when I am not wearing any other makeup, as well as when I am going out- but in that case I would also use a bronzer. LU-HUUUVVEE ITTTT

Makeup Brushes -Quo - Contour Brush
justinetindall 11/12/2012 9:21:00 PM
I don't get all the bad comments? Ladies, WE MUST TAKE CARE OF OUR BRUSHES. Be gentle with them and treat them with RESPECT. For those who had trouble with this brush, I suspect they were not very gentle when washing it, nor where they when storing it. It comes with a cute little pouch, and I rec. you ladies use it. Other than that, this brush is perfect for contouring with bronzer, and it makes the most perfect blush placement giving you tons of control.

Fragrances -Chanel - Coco

This is my signature scent. It's one of the most sexy scents I have ever have the pleasure of sniffing. Everytime I wear it, my man, men, and other women tell me is smell "amazing" or "incredible", with a shock of delight and desire on their face. I know that when I wear this, pretty much everything goes my way. Though, my dashing good looks seem to help as well. Top notes are coriander, pomegranate blossom, mandarin orange, peach, jasmine and bulgarian rose; middle notes are mimose, cloves, orange blossom, clover and rose; base notes are labdanum, amber, sandalwood, tonka bean, opoponax, civet and vanilla. This is the scent of a true, strong, rediculously powerful and sexy woman, like myself. Though, I can imagine, like many other strong perfumes, it may smell different on people. But if you have the confidence, you can pull this off too. COME GET ME

Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Crystal - RIPE PAPAYA
justinetindall 10/23/2012 11:26:00 AM
Mmmm.. this lipstick makes my lips look and feel soo juicy. It is so moisturizing, and feels great when applied. It stays on well too. As far as the colour goes, it is very pigmented, slightly sheer, and is a unique colour. Looks great on all skin tones in my opinion. Also, it's a great layering colour to put over reds, and to top with either redish or pinkish lipglosses. Deff recommend this for anyone looking for a soft salmon colour... HAWT

Tinted Moisturizer -Aveeno - positively radiant
justinetindall 10/22/2012 10:25:00 PM
This is my HG tinted mousturizer. I prefer it over most high end options. I don't wear a spec of makeup during the week, but ill wear this on the weekend during the day if need be as a light cover. My skin gets oily and is very sensitive and prone to breakouts, but I have never once had a problem with it. It matifies, looks so natural, and even soothesmy skin when it is irritated. The consistency is thick, but it feels light on, and is buildable. Oh, and the sunscreen in it is very effective. One of the few products I will buy again.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dandelion
justinetindall 10/16/2012 1:35:00 PM
This is one of my favorite blushes. My other top favs are Benefit Coralista (for summer), Nars Sin (for going out special), and of course, this one. It is best on pale girls. It is very light, butter smooth, and pretty hard to mess up when applying. It looks good on all parts of the cheeck- it really does smooth out your complexion where applied, and brighten up your cheeks. It makes me look super fresh and natural. I love this stuff. Perfect for fall and winter.
