the formula was really dry. gave decent volume to my lashes but clumped a lot. the brush is too big and unwieldy for my stumpy Asian lashes. to it's credit, i haven't experienced the flaking other people have. definitely not the mascara for me.

Lipstick -Jordana - Matte Lipstick

This lipstick in Taupe has become my HG nude (i'm between NC 30-35.) i wish it were a touch pinker, but it's the only lippie i wear that gets consistently complimented. the staying power is also outstanding. i'm stockpiling these just in case Jordana ever discontinues them! oh, and aside from loving the color and the formulation, they're $1.25. can't beat that with a stick.

this color is stunning, really beautiful, but it faded so fast. i'd rather get stuff from a beauty supply that will last longer even if though i can't find a color that's just as good. i did like the conditioner that was included as well.

curled moderately well but the pad doesn't stay in at all. it's a pain in the ass to hunt for it when all you want to do is curl your eyelashes so you can get out the door. that said it works as well as any other comparably priced curler but i'd rather buy something like N.Y.C. if i'm going cheap so i don't have to hunt for the pad. it seriously falls out every single time.

good pigmentation, texture, and application. it smudges a little but everything smudges on me. i don't love the brush for liner application but i actually like it for brow powder. after 6 months this did go somewhat dry but was easily revived with eye drops. i paid less than $3 for this at Winco and if i ever run out i'd gladly buy again. Edit: i've been using this almost daily in the year and a half since i first wrote this review. it's become HG.

i'd heard these could help with acne and pigmented scarring so i decided to give them a try. while they didn't help the zits themselves they did wonders for the rest of my skin. it was super bright and smooth and clear. it did help fade the hyperpigmentation a bit as well. i was given the kind that come in individually sealed envelopes so the product didn't dry out before i could finish it. make no mistake, this is pricey, but i absolutely loved it. i plan to try the cheaper Avon version just to see if it's comparable but i would recommend this without hesitation.

oily, waxy products like this just don't moisturize my cuticles. i really wanted to like this because i love Burt's Bees and the smell is over-the-top delicious, but it just didn't work for me.

pretty much everything i want to say has been said- this does a great job of exfoliating for me without being too harsh, gets my skin really clean, and allows my products to penetrate better. i've been using this for 3 months and definitely notice my skin looking clearer- i also notice a change for a the worse if i get lazy for a few days and don't include this as part of my routine! this was a splurge for me with my limited budget but i'm SO glad i did it.

I received this brush years ago in a BE starter kit as a gift. it's still in flawless shape, which is more than i can say for the other two brushes that came with the kit. it's never shed or lost it's shape. it works equally well for applying mineral makeup or liquid concealer and strikes a great balance between blending well and still applying enough product to cover imperfections. It's apparently pretty pricy now on it's own,but if i could find a good deal on it i would buy again, if i ever wind up needing to replace it. this thing is ridiculously durable.

i really love the formula of these lipsticks, i'm writing this review solely for the color. i'm somewhere around NC30 and this was hideous concealer lips on me when applied full on. when blotted it had an orangeish tone i hated. i've seen it look gorgeous on other girls and most people seem to love it, i just wanted to put my experience out there.

This has become my go-to mascara. It holds a curl like a dream,which is hard with Asian lashes. It stays put-to be honest,it's a pain to remove without eye makeup remover,none of my face washes have ever gotten this off. it's nice and dark and gives me decent length and volume. It's not amazing;people won't ask if you're wearing falsies,but it's incredibly efficient for a killer price. when i want more oomph i'll layer a lengthening mascara over it,but i'm hoping to eventually find a drugstore product that can hold my curl like this and give me drama.

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer

it's only been a week but this might be HG for me. i have some pretty dark acne scars and very oily skin but this covers so beautifully and really stays put but doesn't break me out.i also like that i can use it for both my acne scars and as an undereye concealer.you need such a small amount of this concealer and for me it blends very smoothly.i'm pretty fortunate that the darkest shade,Tan,is the perfect color for me for summer.they really need to expand their shade range so darker girls can experience the wonder that is Glamoflauge. i've never tried this for concealing my tattoo so i can't speak to that.Also still trying to figure out what to do with the nifty little pencil.

did absolutely nothing for me.so disappointed,my NYC mascara is more effective for length,volume,and holding a curl.i'm glad i saved my receipt because this was NOT worth my money.
