Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Light
junelove 11/20/2012 5:18:00 PM
I really really like this primer. I originally bought the small travel size version that Sephora sells in the little bins near the checkout counter, but as soon as I was done with that one I went back for another. It lasted me a really long time, mind you I rarely use foundation all over my face so a primer is not necessary. I was (and still am) only using it under my eyes before I apply concealor and it has given me amazing results! If you are finding that it doesn't keep your skin looking matte all day, you could always try the urban decay all nighter spray which is primarily designed for that specific reason!

Lips -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Rouge
junelove 11/20/2012 5:12:00 PM
I recently bought this product in #2 and I really like what it has done for me so far. For me personally, it stays on my lips for extended periods, and I only need to touch it up after 5-6 hours if I want it to still look fresh. I am not a fan of the applicator of the clear lip gloss but it isn't the worst thing in the world. I really like this color and I think it compliments my skin color really well and is almost like a pinky-nude color which I really like! FYI I am a medium skin tone.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
junelove 11/19/2012 12:23:00 PM
This moisturizer is exceptionally good for people who live in drier climates such as myself (Calgary, Canada). During the winter especiallly, the cold dry air leaves my skin feelings really tight and uncomfortable. But this moisturizer does a really good job provinding me with enough moisture to last me through the whole day. There are two kinds that it comes in- the lotion, and the gel. The lotion is suggested to be better for combination skin, while the gel is better for oily skin. I use the lotion, but only a small amount of it and similar to what others have said in this thread, it really does last a long time!

Clothes -Unlisted Brand - Mackage Coats
junelove 11/16/2012 4:00:00 PM
Personally, I am in love with Mackage leather jackets. I have 3 of them now (Two are the Sophia in black and in brown, and the other is the Kenya in black). I purchased all three of them from Aritzia (Canada) and there is not a single thing about them that I do not like. The Sophia is a great coat to wear with leggings and it is a little bit more fitted, whereas the Kenya is really just an overall chic jacket that goes with absolutely everything. I highly recommend the Kenya. Once you've worn it a couple of times it really softens up and feels amazing, it is not a stiff leather at all. They are quite pricey but definitely worth it!

Polishes -Essie - Set in Stones
junelove 11/14/2012 11:48:00 AM
I really love this nail polish! It's obviously very versatile and can be worn with any color. The only thing I don't like is how hard it is to remove, it takes some effort but I guess it's worth it if you want to have your nails looking great for a couple of days!

Styling Products -Farouk CHI - Chi Iron Guard
junelove 11/14/2012 11:45:00 AM
There seems to be a lot of mixed reviews on this product. I for one love this product, and I use it together with the Chi Silk Infusion. I think it works great and its optimal for using after you've blow dried your hair but before you start straightening or curling your hair. I like the smell of it and I like that it doesn't make your hair feel heavy or greasy.

Styling Products -Farouk CHI - Chi Silk Infusion
junelove 11/14/2012 11:42:00 AM
I really really love this product. It works sooo well for people who are applying heat to their hair on a daily basis and does a great job protecting the hair as best as it can. I apply it every single time after I shower but I only use a very tiny amount (half the size of a penny) and I NEVER apply it near my roots (I usually start about 3/4 from the top)!! Once I am done straightening my hair I sometimes put a really really small amount in my hand and apply it to give it that shine- just stay away from the roots!!! I think the best part of this product is its longetivitiy- it lasts for such a long time making it SO worth the money!

Mascara -Rimmel - Scandal Eyes
junelove 11/14/2012 11:37:00 AM
I really love playing up the eyes so I am always looking for great mascaras that can help me in achieving that look. I have to say that I was really quite dissapointed with this mascara. I really do like some of Rimmel's mascaras, but this was just not one og them. It really did nothing for my lashes other than keeping them seperated after one or two coats, but any more than that caused them to become clumpy. It didn't add volume or length either, so overall this mascara was a bit of a dissapointment

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Curious by Britney Spears
junelove 11/14/2012 11:33:00 AM
Not a fan of this perfume. Maybe because the sweet, floral type of smell is not really my thing but I found that it smelt a bit cheap. The pump that it came with broke within a week and it was impossible trying to spray this on me. A couple of my friends had the same thing happen to them as well.

Fragrances -Givenchy - Hot Couture

I LOVE the smell of this perfume. I use it interchangeably with my D&G Light blue or on days/nights when I am going out. I think it's such a classy smell and I really like the way it smells on my skin. I always find people asking me what perfume I'm wearing whenever I have this one on.

Moisturizers -Equate - Dual Action Moisturizer (clean and clear knock off)
junelove 11/14/2012 11:27:00 AM
I bought this product not too long ago just to try it out and I was not impressed. It left my skin feeling oily and somewhat suffocated. I don't think I would ever re-purcahse this product.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
junelove 11/14/2012 11:24:00 AM
I really love this lotion. I use it twice a day, once in the morning after I wake up and wash my face, and once in the evening after I wash my face before going to bed. I've gone through at least 5-6 bottles in my lifetime and I will continue to use this lotion until I see a reason not to. The only thing for me, living in a place like Calgary (Canada) where it gets really dry during the winters, I sometimes need to apply it twice in one go because it leaves my skin feeling a little bit dry. Other than that, a great product!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic
junelove 11/13/2012 1:37:00 PM
I really like this mascara. I used to be in love with Maybelline's lash stylist until they discontinued it and I was left in a panic to try and find a new mascara that could give me similar results. This mascara is really good for keeping your lashes seperated and adding length. You can also achieve pretty decent volume if you apply a couple of coats. The other mascara that I really like, and seems to give me similar results as this one, is Lash Stilleto by Maybelline.

Misc Beauty Tools -Japonesque - Mini Heated Eyelash Curler
junelove 11/13/2012 11:14:00 AM
I LOVE this curler. I was a little bit skeptical when I first bought it and thought that I would quickly revert back to my regular eyelash curler, but I have not gone back since I bought this product. I originally bought it because I had gotten eyelash extensions and you are only allowed to use a heated curler not a regular one, but I love how easy this is to use and most of all it can go everywhere with me. The only negative thing I could say about it is that it runs out of battery quite fast but if you keep a couple extra with you in your purse then you're good to go!

Misc Beauty Tools -Sonia Kashuk - Blending Sponge
junelove 11/13/2012 11:06:00 AM
I prefer the beauty blender over the Sonia Kashuk blending sponge for several reasons. The beauty blender is shaped like an egg, so it rolls onto he skin smootly fining out any harsh foundation lines. I like to wet mine before I apply foundation and it holds in the moisture really well, whereas the SK blending sponge is too dense to do that. Although the SK blending sponge has a finer tip, which allows you to really get into the corners of your eye, the beauty blender can achieve the same look even though it has a slightly more rounded tip. In all, I would definitely recommend the beauty blender even though it is a little more expensive, it is definitely worth investing in something that you could potentially be using on a daily basis, especially if you are trying to achiece that flawless finish
