Conditioner -Organix - Macadamia Oil Conditioner
julidan0203 3/30/2013 9:13:00 AM
This product (along with the matching shampoo) made my hair so pretty! I have normal, wavy dyed hair..maybe a little on the drier side because of styling tools. I used it in combination with the keratin oil (anti breakage) and flat iron mist, also from Organix and was really surprised on how glossy and manageable it left my hair without weighing it down. It might not work for everyone, but I do love it!

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Zoe & Zac Naturals - Bamboo White Tea

I found this on sale for about $3 a piece and bought the body mist and body lotion. It's a very refreshing, unoffensive smell. I see myself using this for lounging at home, before bedtime or even for running errands. Staying power is not enough for work, for example. Overall, nice product.

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti
julidan0203 4/14/2012 8:14:00 PM
This product gives me the same effect as Super Lustrous LG in Coral Reef: it refreshes my overall look. I gave it a 3 (wanted to give it a 3.5) because it still takes me some time and effort to make it work on my pigmented lips, but it's a lovely shade indeed. It feels comfortable and moisturize my lips as well.

Lipstick -MAC - Stay in Touch Cremesheen
julidan0203 3/16/2012 9:28:00 PM
Absolutely gorgeous, flattering, non-nude, neutral color for my NC42 complexion. Not particularly moisturizing, but not drying either. And. Very versatile..I can wear this lippie with just blush and mascara for a fresh everyday look or I can do a smoky eye and top it with C-Thru lipglass for a more subtle lip. Perfection in a tube! ;)

Very nice basic vanilla smell...sweet but not cloying, lasts fairly well for a body spray and it definitelt meets my taste for sweet smells. Good affordable treat when you're on a budget.

Sorry..but no. There's this thing about body chemistry and fragrances that we all know about. My body chemistry usually agrees incredibly well with CK fragrances (as oppposed to Estee Lauder's, for example). This is the reason why I was so excited about trying Beauty, but it was really dissapointing. I would not classify this as an "old-woman" scent..simply because I think that it only matters that you "own" the fragrance that you're wearing and being comfortable with yourself is VERY classy whether you're 16 or 61. It's just that Beauty turned really acid on me (if that makes sense). Sorry CK..I adore your creativity and simplicity but I couldn't find the "beauty" in this one.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Deep Aqua
julidan0203 10/16/2010 3:44:00 PM
I live in a very humid, tropical island so I try to be careful with scents since these can get really annoying, specially during the daytime. To me Deep Aqua is the perfect everyday scent, fresh, office friendly, not too strong but noticeable enough to get compliments. We don't have B&BW here, so I bought this on a recent trip to the US and will continue buying online.

Lip Liners -Wet 'n' Wild - #666 liner
julidan0203 10/16/2010 2:05:00 AM
I cannot remember how many times I've bought this l/l. I'm an NW42/C5 with very pigmented lips (think more brown than pink) and this product helps me bring the best of so many shades of l/s. I even use it by itself with some gloss. Of course it's dry...it's a $0.99 product!!!! But I would not buy a $14.00 l/l with a big HE brand that won't suit my needs for some issue that can be solved with the usual lip balm I use everyday (and the lip balm/lipliner combo won't even reach the $5.00 mark). This is one of my budget-wise products and I'll keep rebuying for sure.

Eye Shadow -Kat Von D - Beethoven palette
julidan0203 10/16/2010 1:56:00 AM
I marked "Yes" on the re-purchase, but it's really a maybe, since e/s palletes lasts so long (for me at least). My DH bought me the Ludwig pallete about a year ago and recently, Beethoven. Even though I find the texture a bit difficult to work with I'm really amazed by the lasting power even w/o eye primer. My eyelids are not too oily and I apply these shadows at 6:00am and by 9:00pm the rest of my m/u has faded gradually, but not my e/s. Gorgeous, wearable shades that motivates me to be creative. Overall, I love these (toss the little brushes and use your own though).

Lips -Nivea - A Kiss of Milk and Honey

Excellent moisturization (as expected from Nivea) and the scent is to die for!! I also got it for $1 but grabbed the last one. I'll gladly pay full price for it though.

Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
julidan0203 3/7/2010 9:17:00 AM
Many "no's" for this product. I usually only write reviews for those products that I like..I'm not fond of writing bad reviews, but......I bought it thinking that most of the L'oreal's products I've tried has given me good results and (being the product junkie I am) I'm always trying to find a good primer even though Avon's Magix works really good on me. First of all..a jar..no more comments about it. Second, the price is steep for a tiny amount ($12...are you kidding me???). Third, and worst of all, it makes my (already big) pores look HUGE..and dries out my skin making me look unhealthy. Trust me, after all the time, effort and $$ I put on buying the right MU and treatments, using this is an insult. Obviously, I would not buy this again or any of the "Studio Secret" products from L'oreal.

Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Original Moisturizing Creme
julidan0203 2/20/2010 9:54:00 AM
I swear by this product!!! 4 yrs ago one one my kids got 2nd and 3rd degree burns in his arms, chest and forehead. After the initial healing phase where he actually had scabs (not open wounds anymore), the PS recommended this to me. She said that this product "was born" on the plastic surgeon's practice and that there was nothing compared to it on the market to heal damaged skin. I was skeptical...how could something so simple do wonders for my baby?? Well, he was 2y/o. She said to apply a thin layer every single night over the affected area until he was 5. Guess what??? If I show you my DS today and tell yout hat he was severely burned you would surely think that I'm a liar!! Not even a single scar!! A cheap, simple miracle. Since then we've been using it for everything skin related. The lesson?? Trust the basics ;)

Lip Gloss -Clinique - Glosswear for Lips Brandy Twist
julidan0203 2/15/2010 7:43:00 AM
I discovered this gem by accident. I was buying my Precious Posy blush (staple for me), but needed something else to get my GWP. I've never noticed this color before, but then again I don't buy Clinique's glosses very often. This is a great neutral for me, pairs well with most of my MU looks and has good staying power (though the 8 hr claim is ridiculous). I'd definitely buy again!
