Treatments -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream
julia1211 5/31/2012 7:14:00 PM
I'm on my 3rd tube of this product and i'm one happy customer. It's cheap, easy to find, and IT WORKS! I have laugh lines, and tho they are still there, they are significantly less noticeable now. HG definitely :)
I like the tingly feeling in my scalp when I use this. I also like that it does not weigh down my hair, and it doesn't make me lose too many strands after shampooing. I thought I'd be able to wash my hair every other day with this shampoo, but my hair is too oily and needs to be washed daily. It's a bit expensive for a drugstore shampoo ($9.95 CND), so I'll only buy it when it's on sale.
Treatments (Eye) -Neutrogena - Radiance Boost Eye Cream

I've been using this for several months now for day and night. No reduction of dark circles or puffiness at all. Will not buy again.
Shampoo -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Shampoo (detangling formula)
julia1211 9/9/2006 4:03:00 PM
I got this shampoo because I was looking for a mild formula that also detangles. Am extremely disappointed. I have thick, coarse hair and this did not do much for the detangling issue. And aside from that, it left my hair feeling heavy. Need to shampoo again on the next day, or else scalp gets too oily. I thought maybe I was using too much product, so I used less the next time but got the same result. Definitely not buying again.
Self Tanners -Neutrogena - Summer Glow Daily Moisturizer

Great product! Been using this all summer and am really happy with it. And the spf 20 is a huge plus! Will repurchase =)
Not a big fan of their stuff. I find their posters and ads borderline pornographic and disgusting. Would rather spend my money elsewhere.
I'm on my second bottle of this product. Like everybody else, I hate the packaging too. However, if you keep your bottle upside-down, it's so much easier to get the product out. I use this after a gym session, or whenever I sweat it out and I've noticed that it kept the bumps on my arms to a minimum, compared to when I use a normal body wash. Will keep using since I've found a way around the lousy packaging, and it's working for my skin.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Intense Relief Hand Cream
julia1211 8/26/2006 9:39:00 PM
It works pretty well, and it keeps my skin soft. It does NOT survive handwashings though. After I'm done with the tube I'll probably just buy the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion as it's cheaper and I have to reapply after handwashing anyway.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion

It does the job! I'm on my second bottle, and I've got one more bottle on reserve. I like that it's scentless and non-greasy. Keeps my skin soft and moisturized the whole day.
This is a real waste of money. It's clumpy and made my lashes look just plain ugly. And let's not even talk about the (NON)curl action. Off to the garbage can with this tube.
Been using Cetaphil for years, and it has worked very well for me. I've got sensitive combination skin and this stuff does not make my face all red after cleansing. You shouldn't rely on this to remove your makeup though if you put a lot of stuff on your face. But it gets my mineral face powder off just fine. Love this no frills but effective product.
Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control
julia1211 8/26/2006 8:18:00 PM
I've been using the St. Ive's Apricot Scrub for years, then switched to this medicated version. I use it once or twice a week. I've read somewhere that the granules are too harsh for the skin, so I apply it to my face with a light hand. I'm happy with how it works on my skin, so I'll stick with this scrub for a while.
This stain looks absolutely beautiful and natural on my skin (Asian, lightly tanned). Got compliments from my hubby the first time I wore this as a blush. The application is not the easiest, but I'll overlook that just because the results are so great. I love the color it gives my lips too, HOWEVER, the color gets concentrated on the insides of the lips giving me a just-sucked-a-popsicle look. If I could find a way to make it stay put on my lips I'd give it a 5. Would I buy again? Depends how I feel about it a year or more from now. From what I've read this bottle lasts a loooong time. EDIT: Ok, I've got it. For the stain to stay put on the lips, make sure the brush has very little product on it. Then paint lower lip, followed by upper lip. Let dry and follow up with fave non-colored lipbalm. Tada! Fab lips that lasts for hours! And for that I'm going to change my overall rating from 4 to 5. Benetint is a great find indeed!
Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Mineral Face Powder
julia1211 8/23/2006 12:16:00 AM
It's the second mineral face powder I've tried (1st one was sheercover... yuk!) and it works well for me. The packaging weirded me out for a bit, but I like the compartment for the brush. I cut a makeup sponge in half and stashed it in there too, for days when I want more coverage. I like that it doesn't make my skin break out, and it does the job. I'll keep using this until the next great face powder I stumble upon.
Did not grab the hair very well. My skin got a bit bruised from trying. Should've gone for the full-sized slant-tip version, but I wanted a tweezer to fit into my tiny makeup kit. My Revlon tweezers work better.
