I had wanted this blush for aaaaages but i could never justify the steep prices i kept seeing. Even on ebay it was lot's off £££. Anyway i eventually managed to snag this little beauty in a swop and i L>O>V>E it!!! Firstly, how cute is the retro packaging?? It is housed inside a strong cardboard case which flips open to reveal a mirror and the blush. When closed it is held very secure by a magnetic closure. In the pan this blush is kind off apricot/peach colour with a slight bit off shimmer. When blended out on my cheeks i really love this blush. To me it looks slighty pinky, peachy and apricot in colour. It is pigmented but not too pigmented that i cannot apply it easily. It applys lovely and blends out to leave a gorgeous natural glow behind. I love this blush and yes i would repurchase as i love it. :)

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - 080 Strawberry Shortcake
rated 2 of 5

Well like every other make up lover in the UK i couldn't wait for the lip butters to hit our stores. I was sure that i would love them and would want to buy one in every colour. Hmm not so sure now. I finally clapped eyes on them in my local Boots and as soon as i saw them i was rather underwhelmed. It took me ages to find a colour to buy as they just didn't look very exciting imo. I really wanted lollipop but alas they didn't have any so i chose 080 strawberry shortcake. In the tube it looks like a really pretty pink. It smells nice with a slight hint off the vanilla scent off MAC lipsticks, which i love by the way. Upon application i find that it goes on like a lipstick with a lot off sheen to it. It is fairly pigmented which was not a surprise to me as i had read lots off reviews saying that they were not at all sheer. On the lips the colour is pretty but i find that it seems a little patchy, especially if i try to build up the colour. Personally after all the hype i am very underwhelmed by these. Below i have listed my reasons for this: 1- The price, at £7.99 for one (although they are on offer at the moment) i feel is a little steep. 2-Lasting power. They look like a lipstick and feel like a lipstick but don't have the lasting power off a lipstick. Think off a tinted lipbalms lasting power and your there. 3-The colour selection. Now i don't know if i have seen all the ones on offer in the UK but the ones i did see just didn't excite me. Except for lollipop which i do want to try. 4-Application. Whilst these feel nice enough they don't apply fantstic as imo i found that it did apply patchy. 5-Life. After using mine about 5 times you can see that a lot off product has been used. Whilst this may just be myself as i like trying to build up the colour, i would imagine as in point 2, the fact the lasting power is rubbish and you will need to reapply lots will mean this won't last you long. All in all i have only tried this colour but i cannot see myself buying anymore except for lollipop, and i will not be repurchasing strawberry shortcake. Revlon is one off my fave drugstore brands so i really was expecting more as i love their matte and colourburst lipsticks. If all you want is something to just put a quick swipe off on when your're on the go then maybe this will work for you but i would rather soend my money on buying an actual lipstick.;))

Blush -Sleek - blush - Rose Gold
rated 1 of 5

I bought this blusher after hearing how it is a dupe for NARS orgasm. I was in super drug one day and i just thought i'd check to see if it was finally in stock (most off the time it's sold out) and hey presto they had one left! I was really pleased to have finally snapped one up. In the pan and swatched/blended onto the back off my hand this colour is GORGEOUS! Sadly when i wear this on my face it looks terrible. It seems to show up every pore and imperfection and magnify them. I tried to make it work for but in the end i had to give it away. I don't know why it didn't work for me. Maybe it was the shimmer? Although i own other blushes with shimmer in which look nice. If you have good skin, don't have large pores and don't mind shimmer then i would say without a doubt to try Rose Gold as it really is pretty but just not for me.

Lipstick -NARS - senorita
rated 4 of 5

I bought this lipstick as they had a sale on the cheapsmells website. It is my first NARS product which i had been wanting to try for a while. There wasn't much shade choice to choose from but after much googling swatches and reviews i decided that senorita looked like a pretty shade. My first impressions when i received senorita was firstly, wow it's tiny! I'm a MAC lipstick lover and this seems tiny in comparison. I'm not sure if it's just because the tube's smaller or if you actually get less product. One thing i love about NARS is the packaging with the huge NARS logo over the item. The colour looks pretty in the tube but nothing special. On application it is a lot better. To me it is a browny, pinky, gold colour with slight shimmer in it. Very pretty. It is also buildable which i like as i'm not keen on lipsticks which are really sheer. The formula feels very nice. Smooth and not gritty at all. I would say that the staying power is good. All in all the is a really lovely and pretty lipstick. I would not repurchase this lipstick because i feel it is very expensive at the full price. Especially when you could buy almost two MAC lippies for almost the same price. Plus i have to admit i am a MAC lipstick lover so any lipstick i try has a lot to live up too! If i saw this at a really good price i MAY repurchase but probably not. I would say though that if you wanted to try a NARS lipstick and wanted something quite natural and pretty then give senorita a whirl, you may just love her.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Clear
rated 5 of 5

I love this! I never used to bother with a top coat and if i did it was always just the cheapest one i could find. I was given this by someone for a gift and it has totally changed my views on using a top coat. I believe that when i apply this properly it makes my polish last longer than without or with a cheaper one. By how long also depends on the polish i believe. It is a thick formula which i really love and makes it easy to apply unlike the cheaper top coats which can be very thin and runny. It makes my nails feel so smooth and glossy when applied and makes my nails feel really really strong, i love it! My nails are always in crap condition which is most likely down to me being lazy etc etc but as soon as i apply this my nails look healthy and feel so strong. I will keep repurchasing for as long as i have nails lol. Only downside for me is that the price seems a little steep for a top coat, think it's about £10.00 from boots although i except you could probably find it a bit cheaper online. That said even for £10.00 i will repurchase, that's how much i love it.

Lipstick -MAC - Up The Amp
rated 5 of 5

Wow, wow, wow! I love this lipstick soooo much. I had some money given to me for a treat by my boyfriend and it was burning a serious hole in my pocket! I had wanted MACs Creme Cup lipstick for ages so i went online and put that in my basket. Like i said this money was burning a serious hole so after also putting the naked 2 in my basket (whoop whoop!) and started looking at the MAC lipsticks again. That's when i saw Up The Amp and it was love at first sight! Now i class myself as a savvy shopper and normally sit for hours reading reviews, looking at pictures etc before i commit to by something but Up The Amp was a total impulse buy. For one i'd never heard of it before. I'm soooo glad i did impulse buy this as i love it. It is easily a fave lipstick now. It's a amplified creme formula, which along with the cremesheen formula are my favourites. The colour is such a pretty lavender/purple shade. Described by MAC as lavender violet. I wasn't sure what to expect the first time i wore it as although it looked gorgeous in the tube it was a lot brighter than i would normally wear! On the lips though i was nicely surprised as it looked gorgeous. Bright but not in your face bright, plus you could just put a swipe on for more toned down lips or layer it up for a more vibrant look. Lasts on lips quite well as when it wears off you get left with a pretty stained lip colour. I think the price is quite reasonable. I just love MAC lipsticks in general. The smell is scrummy! I have worn this lipstick a number of times now and i really do love it. It deserves some love and i for one would repurchase tomorrow when i run out.
