Eye Shadow -DuWop - Green Eyes Palette

I have this eye palette in amber eyes and green eyes. it is a decent amount of product for the price - three eye colors (light medium and dark) a highlighter and a liner. it has a mirror inside the compact and a double sided brush -although i wouldn't say its the best brush for the product. for me, the product isn't very pigmented (and i am pale pale pale!) so such a fluffy brush makes the powder go all over my face but hardly show on my eyelid. its nice for days when i'm on the go, because everything i need is in the little compact. otherwise, i have much nicer shadows with better staying power.

Eyeliner -Almay - Bright Eyes Duo Eyeliner

i bought this in the cocoa/pearl combo and while it is nicer than i expected, it is not my dream liner. i really like the creaminess of the highlighter - it blends and stays well on my brow bone. it doesn't stay put in the corners of my eyes though - it instead turns into a shimmery under-eye mess in a few hours. i like the liner, i think it stays pretty well. overall i would not buy again (how the heck do i sharpen this?!) but it is a convenient item for my purse.

i received this in Kouri as a full size gwp from ulta and i've definitely been using it almost daily. i'm always on the go and almost never have time to do my makeup at home. this is nice because it is the product/applicator in one. it looks a little disco in the tube, but the glitter is actually really fine, so a light dusting just brightens up my eyes. it never comes out evenly, so i tend to over-apply and then wipe off the excess. despite using it everyday, i will say that i've hardly used any product which is nice, but with such an unhygienic applicator, i'll have to toss it in a few months anyway. i will not be buying this.

i received this as a gwp from ulta and i definitely don't mind the scent. i'm really picky about fragrance, and i've worn this a few times already. to me it smells like autumn - kinda spicy and sweet like pumpkin pie and flowers. i doubt i'll purchase it, but i'll certainly use up the sample.

Mascara -Too Faced - Lash Injection PinPoint

in all fairness, i thought i was buying the regular lash injection when i picked this up. i have very light eyelashes that are long and fine - this is not the mascara for me. while i love getting the little eyelashes in the corners of my eyes, i have to use this in conjunction with my diorshow in order to get mascara all the way through my lashes. also- the smell is AWFUL. i will not repurchase.

i bought this at ulta last week, and i think the color is a little too orangey for me.. i have to apply it VERY sparingly. i do like that the orange/yellow tinge helps even out my skin tone (i have REALLY rosy cheeks hehe) and i think it is one of the most moisturizing TMs out there. it looks really really greasy at first but it soaks in. i probably won't buy this again.

i got a little sample as a gwp and i am obsessed. i'm really fair, and this gives me just a little glow on my cheeks. my favorite use is as a lip stain. i love the look of pink lips, and the closest i've come to naturalish bright pink lips is smashbox's oglow for lips. while posietint doesnt last for a super long time, its longer than the ogloss and more natural!

i bought this last week, and i while i don't notice any difference with my under eye circles, i think it is wonderfully moisturizing. i'm 24, but my eyes have been looking older lately due to lack of sleep/stress - i also have really sensitive dry skin. this stuff soaks in almost immediately but leaves the eye area soft all day. (I use it at night, too) it makes my touche eclat glide on easier, and i totally recommend it.

Misc Beauty Tools -Sephora - Mini Heated Lash Curler

Let me start off by saying that I have a really hard time with traditional eyelash curlers. The middle of my eyes curl up, but I always get weird creases in the outer corners. This is why I decided to try this little guy out. It didn't take long to heat up, and it is supposed to be applied after mascara is on if you wear it. That being said, I used it like i was applying mascara and held it for a few seconds in my desired curl. It took a few passes, but I'm totally amazed at the result! my trouble spot - inner eye - is perfectly curled up. The outer spot has no creases! I took one lippie off because I think the traditional does a better job with the middle section.

Eyeliner -Neutrogena - Nourishing Eye Liner

I purchased this on a whim in Twilight Blue, which is a beautiful dark blue with very subtle shimmer. I am thrilled to say that I may have found my HG eyeliner. I've tried a ton of automatic eyeliners and this one is the best. It glides on incredibly smooth even when its cold, but actually lasts all day! It has a little sharpener in the bottom as well as a smudger. The smudger is kind of pain to use because it is impossible to pull off the plastic cover on it without taking out the sharpener as well. Aside from that, fantastic product! I'm going to have to get the other colors!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Exact Eyelights

i purchased this mascara in black sapphire even though i have lt. brown eyes. i've been searching for a blue tinted mascara to brighten my eyes for the mornings that i have to be at work/school early, but stayed up reallly late the night before. :) i consider diorshow my hg, but their blue was wayyy too bright (i used it about 4 times before it started collecting dust) I really like the idea of this mascara - its not really a black base though - more dark gray. i have blonde eyelashes, so i need 2-3 coats to acheive a dark enough color. there is a VERY subtle blue shimmer, not as much as i hoped. i use it conjunction with a dark blue shimmer liner, and i think that helps. it is alright for a drugstore mascara.. (i learn my lesson each and every time) so i will not repurchase. cover girl should get on their advertising department's butts for the misleading pictures.

I've tried many different "de-puffing" eye gels/creams/treatments due to my chronic puffy and dark eyes and have never EVER had an allergic reaction like I had after using this. I tried it on at night and it tingled a little (in my defense I thought it was doing its thing) but then it felt nice. I didn't notice anything weird the next morning but by that evening I had a ton of tiny, hard, painful but sort of itchy bumps on my under-eyelid and eyelid. After two weeks, my skin is still recovering, although the bumps went away after a week with regular use of hydrocortisone cream. Furthermore, I can't get the ingredients anywhere - which is really sketchy!!!

Tinted Moisturizer -Smashbox - Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

I think I have finally found my HG of tinted moisturizers! I've tried so so many different kinds in the past, and this is a perfect balance for me. The texture is similar to lotion, but I think it has a nice light coverage. Also, I still use Philosophy - Flawless Poreless Tinted SPF with it sometimes - the combination creates an incredibly natural and flawless look. The only thing I don't seem to like is the packaging. It should be a nice and neat flip top, but the product oozes out as soon as you open it and makes a mess at the top, also dispensing too much product.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

I've been using this stuff since middle school.. and I love it. It dries me out, but if I moisturize right afterward, its fine. Plus, it smells so good I want to eat it. My only "con" is that I find it very hard to squeeze out of the tube sometimes.
