Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara

i'm a big fan of PF products, but this one didn't hit home with me. i love how it's almost all organic. pf is cruelty free, which lured me in, in the first place. the price was pretty up there for a mascara. it did a decent job with lengthening, and the volume came after i curled it. the only thing i hated was, that if it got in your eye, it would burn like freaking hell. and that bothered me so much i had to toss it.

Blush -Physicians Formula - Happy Booster™ Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in rose

i bought the happy booster blush in natural. this blush is just about the cutest freaking thing ever. which is one of the reasons why i bought this bad boy. they don't call it happy booster for nothing, just looking at it puts me in a good mood. pros: -the smell! some people might find it too overwhelming, but i think it smells so good! its a light floral scent, and if you're not a fan, it goes away in a few minutes. -the color! it's pretty pigmented, and the color is buildable. so you can go for a bolder color if you're feeling extra sassy. -it's cute! -it has decent staying power. 3.5 out of 5 isn't that bad. -there's a mirror on the inside for application on the go. cons: -the brush. the brush is freaking crappy. its an odd shape and won't pick up any blush. like with PF's other mineral products. -the price. it's more expensive for a drug store brand. since the happy booster was a new product, i got a 3 dollar in store coupon. -there could be more product for what i paid for. instead of adding this dummy brush. overall, i would buy this product again and again. i hope they don't get rid of these.

Mascara -Prestige - My Biggest Lashes
joeykookamunga13 1/20/2011 2:07:00 AM
so let me give you a little background: i used to be a maybelline make up addict, but the moment i found out maybelline ISN'T cruelty free, i tossed all my make up and had to start again. first of all, this mascara is a perfect dupe for urban decay's my big fatty mascara. i personally like prestige better. UD's big fatty dries up pretty fast. so you have to work at it to get results. how i wore prestige's mascara was curl lashes, apply, let dry, and curl again. and let me tell you, this shit was fan fucking tastic, 6 dollars at ulta and cruelty free. i feel good wearing this, and i'll definitely buy it again. you can't beat 6 dollars and a clean conscience. my lashes looked fake, it worked so well.

Lipstick -Rimmel - Moisture Renew Lipstick
joeykookamunga13 5/21/2010 6:58:00 AM
well, i bought this lipstick today in pink chic (220) and it was alright. i bought it for the "moisturizing" factor. and because the color was absolutely adorable. and the other rimmel lipsticks were pretty bomb. buuuuuut. needless to say, it did a decent job on moisturizing, but the texture was kind of greasy. like, i had to cake a bit on to get the color to stick. i'll probably use up this tube, but i won't be getting the moisture renew lipstick.
