Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5

This is the only eye primer I have ever tried and I doubt I'll ever try another as I seriously love this stuff. I have combination/dry skin but my eyelids can get quite oily so this really helps my shadow adhere to my lids and it definitely lasts all day. I notice a difference when I do not use this as my shadows crease within the hour and begin to fade too. I am glad that the packaging has been changed as now you can easily control the amount of product you use and there will be less waste and also it is more hygienic. The price isn't too expensive when you bear in mind the length of time it will last and the frequency you use it and I've had mine for about a year and it is still going strong!

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation
rated 5 of 5
jodielauren1 7/20/2012 6:14:00 AM

This is my absolute HG foundation, I adore it! The shade I wear, Mont Blanc, is a perfect match to my skin tone and blends seamlessly. There is a wide selection of shades so it's likely that you'll be able to find a suitable match. The coverage isn't sheer as the name suggests, instead I find it to be medium to buildable and feel it wears well on my dry/combination skin (oily skins may find Sheer Matte to be better suited to them). I feel like it provides a flawless base but I do like to use concealer on imperfections for an airbrushed complexion and the finish is 'glowy' without looking greasy or oily in my opinion. The price is £29.50 for 30ml which is average price for high end foundations so I do not find it to be unreasonable. The packaging is a sturdy glass bottle which I quite like as it is weighty, however, the rubberised lid gets dirty easily, like all NARS packaging does but it is easily cleaned with a makeup wipe, it doesn't come with a pump which doesn't particularly bother me but I know it can be a deal breaker for some (thankfully NARS do now sell a pump separately). I would 100% buy this again as I have already repurchased it and will almost certainly continue to.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Benetint
rated 5 of 5
jodielauren1 7/7/2011 4:52:00 PM

Glamour magazine was providing Benefit products (Posietint, High Beam & Benetint) for £2 which I think is a great way to try the products without paying the steep full price before you even know if you like the product. I'm fair with pink/neutral undertones and I love this product to give a soft rosy, long lasting glow. I apply it by using the applicator to put a few stripes on my cheek bones and stippling it in with a MAC 188. I personally love Benetint and will definitely be purchasing the full size product. I really want to try Posietint and the new Cha Cha Tint now. One thing I don't like is part of the packaging of my deluxe sample size as the writing is wearing off from being in my makeup bag, which hasn't happened with the High Beam, does anybody know if the full size does this?

Moisturizers -Origins - VitaZing SPF 15 Energy-boosting moisturizer with Mangosteen
rated 3 of 5

This product doesn't really satisfy its claims. It is believed to energize skin, which I personally didn't notice any difference. It's a white cream with small, brown specs which, once rubbed in, tint the skin. I am NC15-NW20 or Mont Blanc at Nars and this didn't make me look orange even though I am pale. It is very sheer coverage (Less than a Tinted Moisturiser) and it evens out my skin tone quite nicely. I used it with MAC MSF Natural over the top. I bought this after seeing it recommended by TiffanyD on YouTube when I was on the hunt for a Tinted Moisturiser for school. The packaging also hold finger prints and can be difficult to get the right amount of product as often too much or too little is released. I won't buy this again but that is my personal opinion.

I do not understand why this product is getting so many bad reviews. I am in awe of this colour. It is so beautiful. It looks amazing on my pail skin and it lasts for a while too and is very barbie pink.

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Gaga
rated 5 of 5

The colour is the perfect blue pink. Its not dry and is such a universal colour. It seems quite dramatic, but still wearable and is a nice opaque colour. I also have the lipglass which is stunning too. It supports AID's and is designed by Lady Gaga. Could this lipstick get any better?

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Midnight Cowboy
rated 2 of 5

The shade is a nice champagne colour for lids, however, I cannot overlook the large amount of chunky glitter that moves across my face throughout the day. If you like glitter it's perfect for you, not really suitable for the day due to the glitter. The fallout is very noticeable.

Nice brush for applying eyeshadow, not the best for blending. Keeps its shape well, easy to clean. Perfect brush

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush

Good quality brush for such a reasonable price. Doesn't shed and applies gel eyeliner and shadow well. The bristles are nice and soft but firm too. I like the reusable bag, although it's a bit cheap feeling, but the brush itself is perfect.

Eye Shadow -MAC - shimmermoss (Veluxe pearl)
rated 4 of 5
jodielauren1 12/12/2010 10:03:00 AM

This is, in my opinion, the perfect teal/turquoise shade. It is quite sheer, which to me is good as is build-able. Its really wearable shade and the 'To The Beach' packaging is adorable, although it is a permanent shade. Ot really make my blue/green eyes pop

Lipstick -MAC - Pet Me Please
rated 4 of 5
jodielauren1 12/12/2010 9:58:00 AM

I really like this lipstick as it is unique and different to any I have seen before. It's a lovely mauve and the more you build it, the more metallic it becomes. There is no glitter, which is a possitive. Downsides are that its a little bit dry, so maybe a balm underneath or a gloss over would improve this. I wouldn't repurchase as I think it'll last a while as it isn't the sort of shade I go to everyday & It was limited edition.

Eye Shadow -NARS - Fez
rated 5 of 5
jodielauren1 12/12/2010 9:46:00 AM

I am in awe of this colour, it is the first nars shadow I have purchased, and it certainly won't be the last. The pigmentation is amazing, and the colour payoff is great. Although there is shimmer, there isn't any glitter. The packaging is sleek and in-keeping with other products from the brand. Although it is expensive it is worth it, and the packaging is good quality as is the actual shadow. Definite repurchase and would recommend it to any eyeshadow lovers.

Polishes -OPI - Rumples Wiggin
rated 5 of 5
jodielauren1 9/19/2010 8:48:00 AM

I love this colour, its so buildable. When I aplied the first coat i was abit anxious that it was to sheer and streaky, but by the second coat it was opaque and had a really nice cream finish. I love the colour as its so unlike any, people have compared it to Done Out In Deco but this has more blue/white undertones. Would definately re-purchase, its gorgeous.

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush - Pet Me
rated 5 of 5
jodielauren1 9/19/2010 8:29:00 AM

I love this so much, again its the first mineralize blush I've tried but it's gorgeous. It has no shimmer which means its good for work/school and its really buildable. I'm pail and it looks lovely. It seems quite universal. Definately stocking up on this!
