I had high hopes for this based on other MUA reviews, but this clogged my pores and gave me multiple pimples. Could be the mineral oil? My skin type is dry and sensitive.
Shampoo -John Frieda - Brilliant Brunette Shine Release Moisturizing Shampoo

Liked how it brought out my own natural reddish brown highlights. Nice scent. I took off a point for the ingredient, sodium lauryl sulfate, a popular skin irritant.
Sunscreen -Ocean Potion - Anti-Aging Sunblock SPF 50

Love the orange creamsicle scent. Feels light and creamy, not sticky like other sunscreens. I thought that Neutrogena felt comfortable on my skin, but this feels better. Plus, it has antioxidants and it moisturizes my dry skin well with clogging my pores.
My mom and I really like the creaminess of this product. It leaves a silky finish and smells great (my fiance loves it). I wake up with my skin looking bright and fresh. My skin is really dry. This moisturizes well in the summertime. I took off a lippie because I think that I'll want a more moisturizing cream in the winter.

Great color match for my skin. Seems to help lighten up my under-eye area. Does not seem to cover much, so may not be good for pimples.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Visibly Even Daily SPF 15 Moisturizer

I have to agree with some other reviewers about the scent. To me, it smells very chemically...kind of like formaldehyde. So, I took off a lip for that. One more lip goes off for the awkward packaging. And a third lip goes off for the lack of moisturization. (I have very dry skin and it left my skin feeling tight). I won't be able to test out the brightening effect, since I won't be re-using.
Masks -The Body Shop - Tree tea oil nose pore mask

Due to the MUA reviews and my success with the Tea Tree oil face cleanser, I tried this. I got the same irritation from this as I got from the Biore nose strips. However, the Biore nose strips work much better! I gave it 1 lippies because I can apply it to other facial areas besides the nose
Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals in 1.2, fairly light

I have to agree with other MUAers that my pores seem accentuated with this foundation. I never thought my pores were large until I used this foundation. Otherwise, I thought it does cover surprisingly well. Another bonus is it did not accentuate my flakey areas on my cheeks. You have to be careful with the amount you use. Otherwise, it can look slightly cakey and overly pearlescent. Edit:I found out from the Ulta MA that the key to avoid the pearlescent look is buffing, buffing, buffing. I also found that clinique pore minimizer helps reduce the appearance of my pores. So, now, my skin look even and natural!
Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula

Great moisturizer. Doesn't feel greasy at all. Love the scent, which lingers awhile. Hard to squeeze this thick lotion out of the bottle.

I love this scent! Feels slightly greasy at first, but absorbs quickly and moisturizes well.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Smooth Intense with Nutrileum

It definitely smoothed down my frizzy ends. But, despite it's claims, it builds up after a few uses, leaving me with the flat hair.
Moisturizers -Dove - Essential Nutrients - Night Cream

I have very dry, sensitive (prone to acne when irritated) skin. This is a basic moisturizer that keeps my skin moist all day. Like the extra vitamins, but I read on Paula's Choice's website that they lose effectivity once the jar is opened. Despite the packaging, I would repurchase. Update: 1/1/05: I'm not sure if it's this cream or the Bare Essencuals Mineral Foundation I recently started using...but my pores have enlarged.
Sunscreen -Shiseido - Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion SPF 55 PA+++ [DISCONTINUED]
jnnlw 10/25/2004 10:47:00 PM
I love the way this product makes my makeup go on so smoothly! I never wore foundation because it would highlight my dry spots (even though I'd use moisturizer underneath). Now, thanks to Shiseido and the MUA reviews, I love how foundation looks! Very natural. Also this sunscreen feels very light and not greasy at all. Wish the price wasn't so high ($60usd for 100ml)! I'm interested in trying LaRoche-Posay's Anthelios, which I read is supposed to have better protection. But if I don't like that one, I will definitely repurchase.
I liked how it made my hair feel smooth and soft (possibly due to the silicone?) and I liked the fruity scent. However, it dried my scalp out tremendously! I've never had so many flakes!
For the cheap price, it's a better, longer-lasting shadow as compare to drugstore eyeshadows of a similar price range. Lots of fun colors! I use Serenade, a matte deep plum color that brightens up my dark brown eyes and Asian skintone.
