This was my HG, but then it started to give me a "burn" on my lips! Too bad, the colors were amazing...
This is a pretty red! Not overpowering, a little shimmery and stays put so I dont necessarily require a lipliner. Best 2.99 spent!
Skincare - Body -Sally Hansen - Airbrush Legs in Medium Glow

This stuff was pretty good, it made my legs look very smooth. I will say the shade might be hard for some to wear, as it was borderline orange for me. That said, I was happier when I applied it about 5 minutes after applying lotion, which helped the blending efforts. I really liked that I wore it all day, slept in it, and then washed it off the following morning, and it isnt all over everything. You can actually see it come off with soap, so I also know that it doesnt pour off if water splashes you. I might try another color, but overall a good product. Only other complaint? My towels look painted!
I love this lipstick...I ran out of another that I really liked and found this one, thinking it would do until I got the other one ordered. Well...for approx. $3 I am hooked. With a slightly darker liplineer, blended with the lipstick so as not to get that dark liner look, this stays on for hours upon hours is metallic without being sticky or shiny, and I think very sexy. On me, a MMM, this looks kind of bad without lipliner, but with it, it completes the look in a nice soft way.
Blush -Tony & Tina - Herbal Cheek Gel - Unmistakable Love

Okay- am I losing it? I put a tiny amount such as an ice cream sprinkle on, (that much for both cheeks) and I look like someone hit me!!! Its neon pink on me! Granted, its hard for me to tell right away because my cheeks get very red when I rub blush on them. Still, I cant believe I am the only one who struggles with this one!!!
This is my new HG lipgloss. The packaging is a bit of a problem, because 2x I have bought this, and the cap was not clicked all the way so the brush was stiff, but if you check it before buying, it should be okay. Basically, I had bought a very milky pink last summer, and I did like it, but it wasnt there last time. So I picked up Alabama Slammer. Then I couldnt find that one, so I ended up with Sea Breeze, which is absolutely perfect. Then I saw the Strawberry Daquiri, which I thought would be just a hint darker, but was lighter. OVerall, these are wonderful, but so different than the appearance in the tube. Also, has anyone noticed that for every day wear, you go thru the tube in 2 weeks? Seems awfully quick to me! Other than that, I really love this stuff. I was using Avon glaze wear as my HG gloss, but all of a sudden I am allergic. This is my new favorite. Also, not lip gloss for a windy day, unless you want a hairline "scratch" across your face!
I really like this too. I look best in warm colors, but I found that this did a nice job in softening harsh browns. I have a very hard time with lipsticks because I tend to try browns but once on me I can look scary. My skin tone just doesnt lend itself to harsh colors, which can be hard to avoid. Anyway, this tones colors down and adds kind of a sexy shimmery pouty sheen.
This is a classic...I had stopped wearing this when I moved out of my parents house because I was snagging it from my mom. Once I was home and used this and DB went crazy, so I got some. Smells good on me, but I can certainly understand why it wouldnt on some people. It is similar to Dior Addict, which actually I liked so much when I rubbed it on from a magazine page, but got a sample and almost barfed!!! As far as it being 80's, I dont totally get it, but then again I laugh out loud when I smell Drakkar Noir because I can only think of 7th grade pimply boys who bathed in this stuff. It smelled nice, but it brings back 80's memories. Same with the original polo, which was also nice. As a side note, can a scent be too dressy to wear during the day? That makes about as much sense as being 80's!!!
Good Mascara, but if I cant get it off with Blisslabs lid and lash wash, I dont want to use it! I had to break out the max factor semi permanent makeup remover, which you need if you use their lipfinity or all day mascara. That is the high grease type of makeup remover. The only good thing if you want to see a silver lining is that I look prettier going to bed since I am still wearing mascara!
Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Wet Shine Diamonds Liquid in Spoiled in Rubies
jmsgemini 5/9/2003 12:52:00 PM
This is so true to the color in the tube, very pink red, and so sexy. I love it!
So far I bought the spoiled in rubies, which by the way matches OPI cha ching cherry really well, so now my lips, tips, and toes match! Anyway, these are silky, stay well, and when they wear off leave a nice pigment on my pale lips. Very sexy in my opinion. I hesitated because I thought the Tube lipstick was so awful and not shiny let alone diamondy! This is every bit as good as lipglass/lip laquer, and pretty similar in tackiness to the lip laquer. I love how shiny they are.
Lip Treatments -Avon - Basics Care Deeply with Aloe Lip Balm
jmsgemini 5/9/2003 12:43:00 PM
I disagree too. Sleeping in this stuff gets rid of my chapped lips most of the time. My mom was upset last month because her lips had been chapped since February and I gave her an extra laying around that I had, and she said it was the only thing to work. I like that it doesnt have the menthol stuff in Carmex and the others. I adore that tingle, but it further dries lips. This is good for a change of pace.
Lotions/ Creams -Avon - Milk Made Milk and Honey stuff!
jmsgemini 5/8/2003 9:40:00 AM
My boyfriends mom is an Avon Rep, and we get a lot of samples. This one smells so bad to me that when he used it to wash dishes (I know, wierd uses!) I had to leave the house!!! I think its the association with rotten milk that ruins it for me on the milk maid product line.

Skincare - Face -Bliss Labs - Breakout Busting Task Mask

This is a lot of $$ but a decent mask. I think that that powder application is more spa like than others, but I feel like I am using theatre monster makeup. You can not let it get down the drain, because it is rubber, and it is so messy, but I used 4 scoops for me and my best friend, and we had some left over. And dont watch standup or anything funny. If you smile big it will separate from your face!
