There isn't anything I don't like. The pump is great and the product has the right amount of coverage.
When I was a teenager, complexion brushes were very popular. Then overnight they disappeared as they were bad for your skin - hands were the way to go. Then Oprah got everyone hyped up on Clarisonic. Well, I'm not going to spend that kind of money on a beauty tool. Thank goodness I don't have to. This little brush works great. My skin is clean, clear and smooth. The handle makes it easy to use with any type of cleanser. You will get more mileage from your cleanser using this brush, too.
Another affordable mascara from Maybelline. I like the shape as it doesn't roll off my counter. The only negative for me is it really doesn't make my lashes thicker. It does make them longer and doesn't smear.
Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer

After trying multiple primers, I find this one works for me. Smashbox has too much silicone, Giorgio Armani made me break out, Korres was just okay. I use this with the LM tinted moisturizer and it makes my skin look great!
Went to the Laura Mercier counter at Macy's and tried this. The salesperson applied combining the two creams (using a brush, three swipes on camouflage and three on concealer). I bought it because the color seemed better than my Amazing Concealer. I now use this with three swipes on camouflage and one on concealer. Great for the sides of my nose and blemishes.
Tried this after seeing commercials and ads. It doesn't clump or flake but it doesn't apply as easily or get the same results as Voluminous or Volume Express for me.
I have been using this for over a year along with the toner tea bar. Prior to using these products, I had occasional breakouts. I do not and my skin looks great. While expensive to purchase, this lasts a long time.
Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Non-Oily Eye Makeup Remover Pads

This is my only eye make up remover. Very reasonable and get the job done.
I was using Bliss face wash which is a very expensive cleanser and minimally abrasive. I saw this line and decided to try it. I love the smell and the amount of and size of the exfoliating beads. Although the tube is small, you don't need a lot. As with any tube, getting the last bit out is a chore. My daughter, who turned me on to Bliss, is now using this, too. Update 7/8/10: I'm having a hard time finding this product.
Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 [DISCONTINUED]

I tried this product and didn't like how it looked at all. The coverage was too heavy for me. It left my skin feeling soft and did last.
Powders -Smashbox - Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder
jmotluck 3/31/2009 11:48:00 PM
I have tried numerous products (liquid and mineral powder) and recently heard about this new hydrating powder. I went to Sephora and brought a sample home with me. I did buy it even though I think it is very expensive. I love the way my skin looks and feels. I am not a heavy user so I think it will last a long time. UPDATE - it is now January 2010 and I am still using my first purchase. Will definately buy again.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte-Stone Violet
jmotluck 10/6/2008 10:23:00 PM
After reading the review of this product, I went to my local Macy's and tried it on. I also added Night Plum and Violet Quickliner. I ended buying all three as did the three other women with me. This is a nice combination for hazel eyes.
Eye Primer -Clinique - Touch Base For Eyes in Canvas
jmotluck 10/6/2008 10:14:00 PM
I have been using this for years. Both of my daughters use it, too. It is a quick shadow on its own or nice even base for applying powder shadows. Two of my friends bought this yesterday so I'll update after getting their opinions.
This is the best concealer on the market. I have tried them all. I use this everyday and have shared it on occasion but still am using the tube I bought in March 2006! So the high initial cost is really economical over time.
