Lipstick -MAC - Lustre in Lady Bug

This is a great versatile shade. Sheer red, the MAC site says it's a "tomato red" but I didn't find it too have much orange in it, it actually looks very blue red in the tube. This color is great because you can use it lightly for a very sheer look or layered on for more color. Great lustre formula as well!

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre in See Sheer

This is quickly becoming my favorite MAC lipstick. I wasn't sure that if would go with my coloring (nc35/asian), but it's a gorgeous color! It looks really pink and coral in the tube and swiped, but on my lips (which are pigmented), it turned to a wonderful light coral shade with slight peach tones. And I also love the forumla of all MAC lustre lipsticks, so that's a plus. Beautiful color, nice shine.

this pink is perfect for my skintone (asian/olive/nc35). i was a bit nervous at first, but it just takes a little getting used to. i find myself using a regular blush brush, layering, and blend blend blend! a great true rosey pink glow. i love that it's matte as well. it makes the color look more natural, especially for the winter. a keeper!

Polishes -MAC - Kid Orange

I adore orange-based reds and this definitely fits the bill. It's more orange than Chanel Midnight Red (which I think is d/c). The quality is fantastic. I like that the finish isn't totally glossy, so that I can add a glossy topcoat if I want, or leave it to be semi-matte. My first MAC nail polish and I'm excited abut trying more of the cream polishes!

Lip Gloss -NARS - Chihuahua

I've read so many raves and reviews about this gloss that I just had to try it. The texture is perfect, so soft, not sticky at all. My lips are really pigmented and this showed up wonderfully, milky pink perfection. (nc35/asian/olive)

Palettes -Chanel - Coromandels de Chanel

I think that this is a gorgeous LE item. It looks a little gimmicky at first, but it gorgeous on! The colors as very pigmented. The metallic gold is lasered onto the top layer of all three colors (in different forms) but the gold in the center of the palette goes throughout the bottom. I love using all three colors in the palette for a really dramatic eye. I'm not sure that this would look great on everyone, but it's gorgeous on those with dark eyes. I was a bit hesitant about this item, but after trying it on and creating different looks with it, I'm hooked!

Crème -Chanel - Double Perfection Creme Poudre (Creme Powder Makeup)

This is such a great foundation for me. I have rather dry skin but I find that I can wash my face, slather on a ton of moisturizer, apply this foundation, and my skin looks perfectly flawless. It's not drying. It's easy to apply if you just use little dots on small areas of your face. I think that using a sponge would be a bit wasteful, so I prefer my fingers. I wear Sand (3) and think that this is becoming my new favorite foundation. It can be applied sheerly or heavier for more coverage.

Lipstick -MAC - Glaze Lipstick in Sashimi Mimi
rated 4 of 5
jmoda 5/24/2005 1:31:00 PM

I adore this lipstick. The color is sheer and a bit glossy looking. I love to wear this with a coral cream blush (MAC virgin isle ccb is perfect) and black eyeline and mascara. It's simple, sexy, and always works! This lipstick is perfect for someone who wants to try coral without the lipstick being too bright. It can be toned down, but because of the glaze finish, it doesn't need to be.

Lipstick -MAC - Verve Lipstick

One of my first MAC lipsticks and I just love it! It's a bit similiar to MAC Infared Wood lipglass stain, but different. It's a satin finish and is perfect for me. I'm an NC35/Asian/olive, and this is just what I need to add some color and depth to my pigmented lips. As others have said, it looks great for night or day.

Blush -Stila - Convertible Color Fuschia

I didn't think that I could pull off this cool color, but I did it! I'm an NC35/asian/olive, and this looks great on lips and cheeks. I am so addicted to cc's. they are smooth and sheer on lips and last all day on cheeks. I've got dry skin and it doesn't get all blotchy either. It's a must-have!

Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye Liner Gel-Royal Wink
rated 3 of 5
jmoda 5/11/2005 3:33:00 PM

I have to be the first to give a not-so-great review? Ok. Well, I have two other fluidlines (Blacktrack and Frostlite). And I expected Royal Wink to be a really pigmented and vibrant shade of blue. It turns a lot darker on my eyes than it is in the pot. And when I wait and try to apply a second coat, it gets all uneven. Blacktrack is really pigmented and how I really wanted Royal Wink to turn out. Some people have had good results with layering, some haven't. I just expected it to have more color in it and look closer to the shade it is in the pot. This makes me weary about getting other shades...

Eyeliner -Delux Beauty - Shay Violette [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

Another DB winner! I'm so sad that the other reviewer didn't like this pencil! I find that this shade is just as smooth and pigmented as the other DB eyeliner pencils. As I stated in another review, the product is a bit small for te $14 price tag, but considering the quality, it's so worth it to me. This shade is a matte medium violet. Gorgeous!

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Cool Effect Cooling Shadow/Liner in On The Rocks
rated 4 of 5

i wish that this pencil was thinner and made with a better wood so that the pencil sharpener wouldn't eat half of it everytime i sharpened it, but for the price and thr quality of the product inside, it is worth it. the color is kind of like mac chocolate brown pigment. goes on very silky and soft. i love to pair this with golden and champagne shades. great color!

Blush -MAC - Salsabelle (CCB)
rated 5 of 5
jmoda 4/27/2005 1:11:00 AM

Gorgeous color! I usually don't care for cream color on my cheeks when it's frosty, but this shade is to die for! It looks great on my NC35/Asian/olive skintone and it's sheer, easy to blend, and layer for more intensity. Also a great shade to start out with CCB's since this one is gorgeous and easy to work with!

Blush -MAC - Virgin Isle Cream Colour Base (CCB)

Gorgeous on lips and cheeks. It looks like a cream version of Milani Mango Tango. Lasts forever on lips and cheeks too. This is what started my addiction with CCBs.
