For me this is a toss up with Neutrogena Healthy Defense Moisture Lotion SPF 50 Sensitive Skin. The Cerave is thicker and takes a little more rubbing, but it leaves a nice soft feel to the skin. It is also a bit more dewy then the Neutrogena. My skin is dry and sensitive.
Powders -Unlisted Brand - Baby Magic Patty Cake Dustless Baby Powder

This is an early review. I found this as Walgreens in the baby section. It's a compact of pressed baby powder. 0.28oz for $7.49 There is a place for a small brush or puff in the compact. I used the Elf kabuki brush to apply to my face. It is very white, but goes on sheer. I am rather pale so maybe I didn't notice the white. It gives an immediate matte finish with a soft feel. the ingredients are: Lauroyl Lysine, Rice Starch, Zinc Oxide, Jojoba Esters, Zinc Stearate, Squalane, Allanton, Fragrance, Glysereth 2 Cocoate, Benzoic Acid I do not smell any fragrance
Moisturizers -Badger - Badger Damascus Rose Antioxidant Face Oil

I found this at my local Raley's store (in Calif) for $10.99 for 1oz There is a body oil with basically the same ingredients, but in a different order. This is $24.99 for 4oz There is also a balm and sunscreen in this line. I think the SS was a low SPF of 16 so I passed. I do like these oils. I'm dry and sensitive. I've been using this on a damp face after a spray of toner or mixing with my SS. The oil is a little thick. I used to use Burts Bees Ageless Serum, which I really like too, but I think is discontinued. I think there is a lot of Seabuckthorn oil in this, based on the strong orange color, but that is what makes it soothing to sensitive skin.
Makeup Brushes -Sonia Kashuk - Duo Fiber Fan Brush

I bought this for a light dusting of bronzer on cheeks. I love my Smashbox fan brush too. The SK is denser and wider. I paid $7.99 for it.
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Healthy Defense daily moisturizer SPF 50 Sensitive Skin

I replaced my MAC Prep & Prime SPF 50 with this due to cost. I still like the MAC more, it's lighter feeling and keeps my T-Zone matte all day. The Neutrogena is working well enough for me to keep using it. It takes a few minutes to sink in before I can apply makeup, but holds up well during the day. I use Vanicream SPF 60 on days I'm outside with no makeup. This SS is VERY heavy, but also works very well on sensitive skin.

I have dry skin and this workes well for me. I'm also fair with both pink and yellow tones and redness in the T-Zone and cheeks, I got the lightest shade Ivory. I also use the Primer Sheer and the Highlighter Girly. The coverage is light, but enough to tone down my redness. It feels great on my skin. It holds up well for several hours. The only thing I don't like: the spray getting all over my hand when I spray the sponge I use to apply. I've seen this product come and go over the years. I hope it stays around this time for a while.
Lips -Burt's Bees - Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm- with Kokum Butter
jmarie 10/19/2011 12:42:00 PM
you can get this in a 2 pack at Walgreens for $7. This is my new go to lip balm. It goes on smooth with no strong fragrance or taste. It also leaves my lips soft after it's worn off. I have had no peeling with this, which happens to me with other lip products.
I'm 52 and actually use this as a primer under Dream Smooth Mousse. I use the lightest shade in both as I am fair with redness. These two products cover ALL of my redness and actually lasts through most of the day. I use Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 50 Sensitive Skin first, which also acts as a primer, but is not drying.

I was afraid that this would not last as long as the perfume, but it does and feels great on my skin.....this is the most beautiful fragrance I had tried in a long time.

This has to get better reviews. Maybe it's because I'm, uh....older (52), but I love this fragrance. So warm and sexy. I love the way it lingers on my skin.
Styling Products -Organix - Brazilian Keratin Therapy Anti-Breakage Serum

I'm using this along with the shampoo and conditioner. I like this more then the other Argan oils I've tried. It leaves my hair very soft and smooth, and the fragrance is very, very warm and soft. I use a little before drying and a little after

I really liked this. It's $42. I found the whole Dark line at Thunder Valley Casino Boutique, east of Sacramento This is a dark, heavy scent. I pick up a lot of vanilla and amber. Great for a night out, and a really cute black bottle.

I got these at my local Raley's (calif) I used them this morning instead of my usual Rose Water Witch Hazel. My face felt very clean, but a little dry. I may like these more in the summer. Check out their web site blumnaturals.com

Eye Makeup Remover -Boots - Organic Face Nourishing Eye Make up Remover

I use this to remove makeup from my entire face. I don't think it works as well as Albolene for heavy duty eye makeup, but for light days it works better because it's not as heavy as Albolene. You do have to use quite a bit of product for cleaning the whole face and it's not as cheap as Albolene. I used this a lot in the summer.
