I was really excited to try out this product after reading so many positive reviews, but this product made me breakout, which is the last thing I need right now, as I bought this to help cover up acne scarring. Had I been able to find an ingredient list for this product anywhere on the web beforehand, I probably wouldn't have purchased it - it's got a nice load of parabens. I was looking for a fuller coverage foundation to help cover up acne scarring without looking to make-up-y, but this definitely got greasy over the course of the day, didn't really cover up scars that well, and broke me out, so it's definitely going back. Not worth the hype or the price, unfortunately. I'll stick with Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation.

I had a HORRIBLE experience using this product, and in general, using any products containing mandelic/malic acid (tried Mama Lotion once, and that was horrendous as well). I highly suggest that if you have not used a product containing mandelic or malic acid, please do a test patch first!!! I was trying to clear some acne breakouts that I had gotten after getting off the birth control pill, and this product set me back months!!! I only used it for 2 days, but the combination of mandelic acid plus retinaldehyde not only thoroughly irritated my skin and made me breakout (and no, this was not a purge - I was getting zits in spots that never breakout, like underneath my eyes and on my neck and beneath my chin - basically anywhere the product had made any contact at all). It was terrible. Then, with the retinaldehyde, my skin felt like it was burning, and basically, it not only caused major irritation, but destroyed my skin barrier. It's been over 3 weeks now, and I'm still trying to recover. My skin is still bumpy and dehydrated, and of course, I'll be dealing with the acne scars for the next year. I would be careful using Osmosis or cosmedix products, in general. They contain a lot of ingredients that many people can be sensitive too, such as mandelic acid and ascorbic acid (which also breaks out my skin). Of course, all their marketing suggests otherwise, but they are trying to sell expensive products, so this isn't surprising. I'm sure these products work great on some people, but they are NOT for everyone. If your skin has broken out from ascorbic acid or glycolic acid, be forewarned.
