Treatments -Perricone - N.V. Perricone Advanced Face Firming Activator

Expensive, but I really think it makes a difference. For all that it's touted to do for your skin, it feels really benign when applied, like a thin, mild lotion. No stinging or burning. Whenever I used this, the next morning my skin was always clear, calm, even and refreshed-looking. It's especially good for red, sensitive areas. I only wish it was in something other than a bottle with pump applicator. You can't get all of the product out.
Lipstick -Max Factor - Colour Perfection in Chocolate 969

I have this in Chocolate (310) and Sepia (295). The texture of this lipstick is light and silky and it wears beautifully. I love that I can apply it and not have to constantly check myself in the mirror....it just always looks good. It's not that highly pigmented, but it still seems to leave a bit of a stain on your lips after eating/drinking. I adore the Chocolate color, a soft brown-red. Sepia is almost identical, but with a little more coral, which I don't like as much. I really wish Max Factor would update the packaging. I love that I've found a high-quality product at a drugstore price...but the clunky, metallic-gray plastic case is hideous and about 3 times the size of a normal lipstick case. It's like a throwback to the 1980s!
Eyeliner -Kiss Me - Kiss Me Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner

I LOVE the look of this eyeliner. Intense, matte black color and a very smooth formulation. The brush is fantastic -- it allows you to create a very precise, clean line. Out of all my liquid eyeliners, I prefer the results of this one... however, it leave small smudges under my eyes at the end of the day (especially if some of it gets on my lashes during application). For simplicity, I don't use it every day, only on occasions when I know I won't be out all day or night. Although it smudges a little, this produce is a a real b*tch to remove. You really have to buy the Heroine Make Mascara Remover or use a similar oil-based remover.
I love deep red lipsticks, but it's tough for me to find ones that don't turn pink or orange on me. Red Velvet is a true red. I find it too bright for everyday wear, but beautiful for special occasions. Merlot is a reddish berry-brown color. Looks fantastic with my Asian, yellow-toned skin. I wish it had less berry and more brown/red, but it's still a great color. I apply these lipsticks very lightly. They are so highly pigmented, you only need a little. Awesome staying power. Matte, but not drying. And, of course, the most gorgeous red and gold tubes -- so adorable!
Lip Gloss -Laura Mercier - Tender Lips Bitten Lip Gloss

I usually avoid glosses, but I love this! Smooth, silky texture, not thick or goopy. The color looks like a very deep, intense rosy-brown in the tube...however, when it's applied, it just looks like it deepens your natural lip color. Sheer and neutral, looks great on top of lipstick as well. This gloss is fantastic. So much better than the Tender Lips lip sheer lipstick.
Lipstick -Laura Mercier - Lip Sheer in Tender Lips

I think this shade would probably be flattering to a lot of different skin tones. It definitely enhances your lip color. It's a bit too rosy/pink for my taste, but it looks ok if I use a light touch.
I use this cream as an overnight treatment around my eyes and mouth. Lovely moist, light texture...and feels a little cooling as well. It seems to tighten/moisturize the skin. I wake up looking refreshed!
Lipstick -Shiseido - Sheer Gloss Lipstick in Honey Tea [DISCONTINUED]

This is a really beautiful, sheer lipstick. Kind of a reddish, raisin-brown color. Applies like a glossy stain; feels similar to a lip balm...moisturizing and slick, not sticky at all. You can easily build the intensity of the color. I often have a difficult time finding suitable lip colors; a lot of lipsticks that looked gorgeous in the tube turned too wine/berry, pink or orange on my Asian, yellow-toned skin. This looks great. It is perfect as an everyday lipstick.
I've been using this for about two months now, and I do see a difference. I bought the eyebrow version because the wand makes it easier to apply to the base of the lashes I don't notice a difference in thickness, but my lashes are longer and I also see small, baby lashes growing in. That said, I don't think it's the kind of growth that anyone else really notices. I wish the growth was more dramatic, but it still makes me pretty happy. The product also makes your lashes more resilient. My lashes used to break/fall out sometimes when I curled them, but now that never happens.
This was recommended to me by GettinMarried0407 and I cannot thank her enough!!! Definitely the BEST eyeliner I've tried. I'm Asian, with a double lid that folds under (Asian ladies, you know what I mean), so they get oily very easily. I have been on a quest to find the best eyeliner and thought I had found it in Blinc Kiss Me eyeliner (which is still a close second to the Ultra Liner)...but it still disintegrated a little after a long day. Kiss Me also has a thin, watery formula that requires 2 coats. The Maybelline Ultra Liner really stays put. It's highly pigmented, so it gives a really clean, ultra-black line. And unlike a lot of other waterproof eyeliners, it's a cinch to remove. Plus, it's super inexpensive -- I found it for under $5! Update: After repeated use, I have found this eyeliner a little too shiny for my taste. It still gives an intense, highly pigmented color, but the rub-off formula gives it a plastic-y sheen. Blinc Kiss Me liner has a similar formula, but it is not as shiny. I've also discovered the Ultra Liner will sometimes bunch up and break off in little flakes. It's still a terrific eyeliner and I continue to use it, but I think Blinc is superior.
I think this is the best exfoliating foot cream out there. Very strong, but doesn't irritate. I have really dry, cracked heels and this definitely works better than anything else I've tried.
I don't think this mask does anything at all. It's a complete waste of money.
I like most Molton Brown products, especially the shower/bath gels and eye creams... but this was nothing special. Just an average face wash.
I use this every day. Cooling, soothing, non-drying...and leaves skin squeaky clean. I was apprehensive about buying it since the blue herbal astringent made my skin feel too tight and dry, but it's very gentle.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
jjlee 10/13/2006 10:22:00 AM
I received this in a swap and I have to admit, I am really impressed! I am a die-hard Blinc Kiss Me eyeliner fan b/c every other liner I've tried has smudged (including MAC's liquid liner). But this gel/cream product may turn into my second favorite. It glides on easily, sets quickly, and has dense pigmentation. It's kind of a pain to wash the brush after every use, but the little pot is cute. I don't know how well it will hold up on a hot day, but for now, I'm really loving this eyeliner. Update: It does smudge near the end of the work day. But I love the texture, so I think I'll still use it occasionally -- maybe on weekends or when I know I won't be out all day.
