Sheer, cool toned pink with pink and blue microglitter - it does the iridescent thing. I haven't tried it on its own and I don't think I will as it is very sheer and I'm not that patient. Looks great layered over a white or pale pink opaque shade (2 coats of OPI's original version of It's Sheer Luck with one coat of this on top - gorgeous). Shimmer without being OTT. I love it.

Yep, lime and sugar. Maybe a bit of salt for about 5 min. This only lasts about an hour on my skin. Would be a great perfume for a little girl...

I completely forgot about this perfume! I bought it - oh - a couple of years ago from a reseller. Adored it. From memory: bitter coffee (which is nice, not mocha or sweet and creamy), a bit of tobacco, and something to lighten it up; I really liked it for nighttime. I lost the bottle and am now beside myself! Must find this.

Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion Exfoliant

HG for me. I'm on at least my 6th bottle, and just reordered 4 more. I have normal yet acne prone skin with blackheads (especially on my nose). I use this at least once a day and wait a minimum of 10 min. before putting SS on over it. Nothing else has kept my face this consistently clean. Are my blackheads completely gone? No, but they are far less noticeable. This, my Pretika ( Clarisonic knock off), Korres Honey Time moisturizer, the occasional mask and I am good to go. I cannot recommend this enough for adult acne sufferers.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Smell Bent - Sunshine, Mama's Spiced Tea
rated 4 of 5
jimsland 8/10/2011 9:38:00 AM

From the website: sun-brewed black tea spiced with tangy orange, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and dry sandalwood. This is a remix of the original Sunshine (sun warmed blood oranges over rich sandalwood, vanilla-drenched resins and a golden musk base), which smelled neither like sun, nor shine on me. Perhaps it was the resins. Regardless, I read the notes of the remix and had to try it. This is for the spray - don't know why I did not order the oil... This smells fantastic. A little citrus and sweet, rich spice, and delicious sandalwood to anchor and round it out. I'm a sucker for this mix of ingredients. The black tea lends it an interesting twist. I'm thinking this might be full bottle worthy. Edit: definitely FB worthy. Many times sandalwood can take over a scent on the drydown, this does not. While, the sandalwood does become more pronounced near the end; it maintains its spicy, slightly sweet, slighty woody scent throughout wear (on me, about 5 hours).

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Wiggle Perfume - Nicosia

From the website: A blend of fig, olive blossom, clove, golden honey and sandalwood. It opens rather sweetly, but calms down quickly. The sweet blends into the clove and sandalwood very nicely. It's warm and somewhat comforting, while being sexy at the same time. Wears very close to the skin. Lasting power is pretty good; I can put it on in the AM and still smell a bit in early evening. I adore sandalwood, but it can go soapy on me depending on the mix. I get no soapy scent at all, which is good thing. I have a sample bottle, and am on the fence about a FS as I can never make up my mind, however I did vote yes. I could see wearing this often. Though, she has so many other scents I want to try... Wiggle Perfume on Etsy. Edit: On subsequent wearings, I've noticed the sandalwood does end up taking over. Not a bad thing, but after a few hours I have started layering something very simple (orange works nicely, or bergamot) to add to it. I also just ordered 7 more samples, so stay tuned.

I have a sample of this, so really cannot comment on packaging. It's - fine... It's a nice floral with white musk. Nothing really special about it. It's pleasant, and didn't give me a migraine. But, there are plenty of fragrances out there like this. I won't buy it.

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Shimmer blush in Peachykeen
rated 4 of 5

I had never gotten a Mac "makeover" until we went on vacation and thought - what the hell? I am an NC25 (now I know!) and generally wear cooler colors. My MAC sales person (and damned if I can remember here name - she was fabulous), suggested this blush to me. I balked, she persisted, I relented. I am so glad I did. This warms me up quite nicely, pairs very well with Viva Glam V and is absolutely lovely. It's peachier than Nars Orgasm, but I can see this being MAC's version of an almost universally flattering color. It's shimmery, without being OTT. I gave it a 4 because it's not as pigmented as Nars blushes. Other than that, I love it and would absolutely repurchase.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - 4711 Echt Kolnisch Wasser (Original Eau de Cologne)

I finally came across this in a random perfume store. I was so excited. Hot day, splashed some on and went about my business. Half an hour later I was running back to the store to buy a bottle. It's like my skin but better. Light, no sillage. It was familiar to me, but I couldn't place it. My husband smelled it and said "beach". Yeah, on me, kind of. Coppertone and a light breeze. I'm going to try the rest of the line. I think I may end up wearing this at least half the week this summer.

Love it. Citrus and herbs. Almost sparkling. IMHO, not too sweet. Really surprised by how much I liked this. Great everyday scent or when you can't decide what to wear.

I've been lemming this for quite some time. I love citrus and patchouli fragrances. Finally tried this while I had a girlfriend with me who is great at identifying notes. Little spritz and I got the grapefruit, maybe something piney and a boatload of other things. She said the same thing "there's so much going on here!" I got the earthiness right away and liked it. Wandered around some more, waited about 20 min and took another sniff. GDMFSOB. I got the BO smell. Had her sniff again, the way she reared back said it all. By the time we got home (about an hour later), she sniffed again and (without reading any of these reviews) said "cat pee!" Yep, I am one of the few that this goes completely rancid on. I can't not recommend trying it. Many, many people love this - if you're reading this, I hope you try it and do NOT have it turn on you. A 3 seemed a fair rating as I know this is not a horrible scent on the majority of the population!

Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - Homemade Sea Salt Spray

Thanks to erotas13. I also have lots of very fine hair, so I made her recipe (used a different gel, but whatever). Works great. I spray it on dry hair, scrunch and have fabulous waves. HG spray. Definitely use a heavier conditioner though as this can still be drying.

Top/Base Coats -Essie - First Base Basecoat
rated 5 of 5

Love this product. My seche vite base and top coats dried up and I happened to have this. I've been using it as a base and top coat and it extends my manicures for longer than ever. I wore a dark color and did not have a chip until day 5! And it was a tiny, unnoticeable chip. I will continue to use this. Might be HG!

Polishes -Creative Nail Design - Shellac - Fedora
rated 5 of 5

I'm in love with CND's Shellac manicures. I've had 3 and they've all lasted more than 2 weeks. This last color is quite dark so didn't think I'd make it. 18 days before a chip. Fedora is a cool dark brown, with purple and burgundy undertones. It's quite gorgeous. I really want to layer it with Strawberry Smoothie (check out their site for layering options - http://www.cnd.com/shellaclayering/).

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Smell Bent St. Tropez Dispenser OIL
rated 4 of 5
jimsland 6/16/2010 3:48:00 PM

A day at the beach, indeed. This is the old Coppertone scent on meth. If you liked that, you'll love this. Use sparingly and lasting power is phenomenal. Coconut overtakes at first, when wet, but give it 10 min or so to calm down. It will. I promise. Notes include: jasmine absolute, fresh coconut, aloe vera, and a light breeze over a vintage musk. On the fence whether it's FB worthy, but probably another sniffy.
