Conditioner -Organix - Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner

I switched to sulfate free shampoo and conditioner awhile ago because I used to dye my hair a lot and it helped keep my color from fading. I had read a lot of places that sulfate free products are much better for your hair too. This was the second sulfate free brand I've tried, and the second bottle of Organix conditioner I've used. I want to love this product but I just don't. It smells amazing, like coconuts, but does nothing else for my hair. It doesn't moisturize it AT all, to the point where I don't even really see the point of conditioning if this is what I'm going to use. I have almost waist length, wavy, semi colored and highlighted hair and it's ended up frizzy over time. I'm thinking that part of the problem is this conditioner. Even with only washing every other day and using a leave in conditioner and argan oil, my hair is still super dry. I'm definitely moving on from this brand once I use up my bottle.

I got a free sample of this from Sephora the other day and decided to test it out today. I can't really rate the packaging quality, because it was just a sample tube. It's a great product, smelled really nice, went on smoothly, made my hair soft and less frizzy. However, I usually use argan oil and in my opinion this product provided the exact same results that argan oil does, except this would be a whole lot more expensive to buy. I also didn't like that this product's main ingredient is dimethicone. I'm not an anti silicone products person, but if I'm going to use a hair oil I'd rather be getting a pure oil for my money, not just a mixture of other stuff.
Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Cherish

I've been super excited to try these since I heard about them a few weeks ago, and found them at Target. I bought this shade because I'm pretty fair complexioned so I really like sort of nude and peachy colored makeup. My only complaint is that this is very, very light and it hardly shows up on my lips at all. Also you cannot use it if your lips are chapped because it will emphasize every crack. The formula is really nice though. It's very smooth and moisturizing, and didn't tug when I put it on. It smells of mint and has a bit of a tingle to it, but zero taste. Overall I'm pleased with the product, but not the shade I chose.
Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverPure Sulfate-free Color Care Shampoo

I switched to this product because I heard about the benefits of a sulfate free shampoo and this was easy to just pick up at the store while I was out, instead of going to a salon or something. I really don't like the rosemary mint smell, but I put other products in my hair after I shower and it totally covers it up. Even just some mousse covers the smell. But the smell is totally worth it, for the first time ever I've found a shampoo that doesn't fade my dyed hair. I dye my hair reddish brown, and we all know how hard red hair is to keep red. It's been 4 weeks since I last dyed it now and I can hardly tell that it's faded, whereas before it'd be completely faded within two weeks. I also use the conditioner. My hair has also always been pretty oily, I have to wash it at least every 24 hours or it gets disgusting, but since switching to this I've noticed that that's hardly a problem anymore. I hate to be gross, but I just went three days without washing my hair and you honestly could not tell at all.
Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Waterproof Mascara

I'm not sure why everyone seems to hate this product so much, it's the best mascara I've ever had. You know how you're always trying out different mascaras to find that perfect one? This was it for me. I heat up my eye lash curler with a blowdryer and then use this product and my eyelashes are super long, and volumized and rarely has it ever caused any clumps for me. I just bought my second tube and I absolutely love it.
