Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - JR Liggett Old Fashioned Shampoo bar Jojoba & Peppermint

i left a review for liggett shampoo bar for damaged hair before- this review is kind of a comparison- this bar cleans better in my opinion. tho damaged hair formula cleans good, it kinda puts some oils back in to hair- if that makes sense it makes hair fluffy. it even brought my natural waves back. it made my hair shinier than damaged hair formula but my hair felt softer with damaged formula. overall i love it. i use it with VO5 conditioner(i found out that cone-free conditioner works better than ACV rinse for me. may be where i live has soft water, not hard.) individual strands hair seems to flow! love love love it-

it is definitely not for me. i got it from Costco as well. (shampoo and conditioner) shampoo was good. but conditioner is not moisturizing enough. its hard to dispense this product through out my hair. it doesn't slip very well. and even though i leave it on for long period of time, it just does not soften up my hair. there is no silicone in this product. but there are cone-free conditioner that works way better than this one. i won't be re-purchasing this. did not work at all for my slightly wavy & thick east asian hair. but it may work for u! everyone's hair acts differently.. its animal testing free and silicone free-

i tried co-washing. it doesn't work for my hairtype so i quit. (tried with different cone-free ones. its just not working for my hair) so i use this with my shampoobar result is so so so gooooooooood! my hair is super sleek!!! its not sleek look that looks kinda greasy- individual strands flows!! rather than sticking together i'm sure its great conditioner for co-wash if ur hair works with co-washing it is HG from now on.i its dollar very well spent!

i bought it online. it was around $7(including shipping) website said since its made with oils&sulfate free, conditioner is not needed. so when i got it in my mailbox, i used it without any conditioner. right after washing, my hair felt like a straw when it was damp. it got better once it dried(still it was little too rough for styling), but not being able to style my hair is major NO-NO for me. so i began searching for solution on internet. people said ACV works- i experimented with a lot of different ratio for a month (tried 1tbs/2cup to 1tbs/8cup). didn't help. so i tried using conditioner afterward. result was weird feeling hair. my hair felt like there was a wax build up on it.(i used dove conditioner) after all that, i kinda gave up. i wasn't gonna buy another shampoo till i run out of this shampoo bar, so i kept using it. even though i wasn't gonna buy a new shampoo, i was just web-surfing for good shampoo and conditioner. while i was doing that i found out about co-washing. and heard vo5 conditioner is cone-free and good for co-washing so i went to dollar tree and got vo5 kiwilime clarifying conditioner. used it to co-wash my hair. didn't work at all. so 20minutes ago, when i was taking my shower, i decided to use vo5 conditioner after using my shampoo bar. result is amazing!! lol now that i look back on it,i think cone in dove conditioner is what made my hair felt like a wax. anyway now i love this shampoo bar!!!

couple months ago, i decided to color my hair even though my hair was not so healthy. i ended up with really F***ed up hair. after continuously using joico k-pak reconstructor, hot oil treatment, deep conditioner my hair back back to some what normal stage. but was just lacking 2%. so i decided to try leave in conditioner. originally i went to pick up infusium23 but it wasn't there so i decided to try this one. its okay.it did moisturized my hair. it was enough to quench my slightly thirsty hair. and its pretty cheap (under $3.with sale it would be cheaper) its just a silicon+plant extracts+oil diluted in water but it was enough for me. if you have really hay stack looking hair, this won't do magic for you. two things i dont like about this is 1)smell. its like coconutish smell but its CRAZY STRONG + ARTIFICAL you should really smell this before bying it. although fades really quick, its just too strong to the point of disgusting 2)nozzle. its not so amazing. doesn't spray fine mist. be careful when spraying this. too much of any product is not good

i didn't like it too much. even though i made sure i didn't over spray on my hair, it made my hair pretty hard. i does hold style though. but i rather have just soft silky hair without any hold.

BEST THING EVER! it is a protein conditioner, so if your hair is already healthy, this stuff will make ur hair all hard and frizzy with grey tint. when i bleached my hair, this stuff saved my hair! i used it once a week for about two weeks, than i began using it once every other week. when my hair condition was better i began using it once a month! eventually my hair became healthier than pre-bleaching state. i would buy again, but i heard its discontinued now.. i guess its okay since i dont bleach my hair anymore but this is really good conditioner if your hair suffered from chemical damage!

WORST SHAMPOO EVER!! just thinking about it makes me wanna gag. garbage in a bottle. i first bought thinking it would help me to grow my hair out cuz i heard it moisturizes pretty good.(eh. now that i think about it, its tons of silicone) and it seemed like it worked wonderfully for a little while..(a bit greasy, but i didn't think twice about it since i like to wash my hair every morning.)and than MEGA BUILD UP! it was just insane. i began to notice my hair behaving oddly. but i ignored. when i realized the problem, it was too late. i had to use clarifying shampoo for couple days straight. after my hair came back to normal buildup free state, i never used this again. it was my first experience with herbal essence shampoo and it was so horrible that i will never buy herbal essence shampoos again! it is just disgusting. i HATE THIS SHAMPOO!! its a hell in a bottle.
