1) Packaging: it's too bulky for my taste. The gold color can make it look cheap. 2) Bristles: big - very effective! 3) Formula: it volumizes and lengthens my lashes...but it droops them too :((( I have straight, short Asian lashes in the first place and this kinda undoes my lash-curling job.
I bought this product for a lot cheaper at a local Marshalls. I've seen them more than once, so check Marshalls near you! You might get lucky and snatch some! :) I always apply a moisturizer under this. I have an oily t-zone but somehow this controls my oils pretty well. It is also very water resistant. And very effective! I stayed out in the pool for about 4-5 hours with this sunblock on my face. Didn't get burned at all! (got burned everywhere else.... damn you Aveeno!) I have acne-prone skin as well and it didn't break me out. highly recommended :)
Moisturizers -Olay - Complete Defense All Day Moisturizer SPF15

I love it. It's moisturizing for every day wear. It has SPF15. It would've been better if it was SPF 30. It doesn't break me out. It leaves a slight white cast. I love the packaging - it's sanitary! You don't have to dip your fingers in a jar :D I love it.
Moisturizers -Kiehls - Sodium PCA Oil Free Moisturizer

I initially wanted to try the ultra facial cream but after reading the description, I realized it wouldn't suit my combination/oily skin. So I opted for this one. I didn't think it was moisturizing enough for my skin. But it's not bad. It's just okay :P I am almost done using it... it took forever!! I would suggest looking for another moisturizer.

It's a good eye cream for girls in their early twenties. Very moisturizing.

This review is solely for the duo-fiber stippling brush. I tried applying a liquid foundation with this brush today. It gave me a flawless, yet light finish. I loooved it! :)
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Naturals Cleanser + Makeup Remover

Holy crap! This stuff ripped my skin of my natural oils. I have combination-oily skin and I had never felt my skin so dry until using this cleanser. It removes the makeup decently but it was just too much.
I got this product as a birthday present from my roomies! I've never really wanted this product because I thought it would somehow clash with my warm skin tone. It doesn't! Yay! It makes your lips so pink and youthful. Not too drying but it's best to top it off with a gloss or lip balm.
I have acne marks on my cheeks so I tend to shy away from liquid/cream blushes. Therefore, my review will be solely based on how this product functioned on my ever so pigmented lips. The color is so lovely - I love anything coral. Even though my lips are pigmented, it still looks pretty nice. But if I really want the true color, I'll mute down my lips with the bits of concealer left on my brush. It's also a lot less drying than benetint, which strips all moisture on my lips. The lasting power is not that great but I don't mind reapplying. Guys stare at you weird because they're like "why are you applying nail polish on your lips?" LOL
My face is more on the oily side but my lips are ever so dry. For years, I have been using Vaseline to moisturize my lips. It seemed to be okay at first but I realized that it really wasn't helping my lips to be hydrated. My flaky lips stopped me from wearing beautiful lipsticks even if I had applied a lip balm underneath. I realized I had to get some sort of scrub to exfoliate my lips so I walked into sephora and found a lip scrub at a ridiculous price of twenty something dollars. So I walked into the next door Lush and found this for eight something. The first few days of use, I wasn't too impressed but when I started pairing with my baby aquaphor healing ointment, it did wonders for my lips. If you have dry, cracky, flaky lips like mine, try this scrub and the aquaphor healing ointment which was pretty cheap at the drugstore. The only gimmick is that it's in a jar, and the product isn't viscous at all so when you scrub it on your lips, you tend to waste a lot of products. It is decently priced, smells and tastes amazing, and delivers excellent results. Give it a try if you have extra ten dollars to spare and want to have gorgeous looking lips,

Bronzers -New York Color - Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny 720

It's 3 dollars. dingdingdingding It's nearly matte. dingdingdingding It's pretty sheer so it's really hard to overapply. dingdingdingding It's a perfect bronzing shade for my nc 25 skin. dingdingdingding DINGDINGDINGDING
I tried this because I wanted to try a cheaper alternative of eye primers. I don't like the packaging - it's unsanitary. I don't like how it dries super fast on my eye lids. I feel like it doesn't do much to prime my eye lids. I say save the money and invest in a better primer. I'm yet to do so.
Blush -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed Tarte Blush

Got this product because I felt that I should treat myself by buying my first HE blush. Saw frmheadtotoe rave about this product so I went ahead to Sephora and swatched it. Looked pretty good. Up to the register I go! It's a very natural blush on my NC 25 skin. It's well pigmented. It lasts the whole day for me. I just have no complaints. :)
This is for the gold one (since I believe there's a silver one too, which is a tad cheaper). I got this a few years back when I first started wearing makeup. I have Asian eyes - half-double eyelid. For my eyes, curling the eyelashes can make so much of a difference. This is my only eyelash curler so I don't have anything to compare it to but it gets its job done. I can get really close to the roots of the eyelashes with it but sometimes if I'm not being careful, I will pinch my lid. Now, that hurts like a emef-er. haha. Overall, for the price, it's pretty good!
