Sunscreen -Aveeno - Active Naturals Positively Ageless Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

I am at that lovely place where I have to combat wrinkles & ance. I thought that I would try Aveeno, after trying the more expensive brands; Dermalogica & Arbonne. This stuff is bizarre, it's thick & matte, but did leave a weird film, like peeling skin. It made my chin breakout and I saw visible dry patches under my foundation, though my skin felt softer... Bizarre. It did help with the fine lines under my eyes, but overall, I can not recommend this for even slightly acne prone skin. I'll just have to use it on my wrinkles and go back to Dermalogica...

Hair Color -Clairol - Nice n' Easy Foam
rated 2 of 5

I've been using Nice n' Easy for years and only bought the foam because it was on sale and I had a coupon. It was HORRIBLE! The bottle was filled with half foam, half liquid so when I applied as the directions instructed, this liquid dripped on my face, my counter and stained terribly. The color was also MUCH darker than the regular formula. Luckily, I didn't mind having medium brown hair, rather than light brown. The color was actually pretty and my hair did look very shiny (after a really good conditioning treatment.) I will not be buying this product again.

Best foundation ever. Only thing that would make it better would be a pump dispenser. Flawless matte finish, amazing coverage, doesn't get cakey or settle into lines. PERFECT.

Conditioner -John Frieda - Luxurious Volume Conditioner

Well, considering that I have fine, thin, dry hair I wasn't expecting a miracle... But this stuff in conjunction with the thickening mousse was pretty surprising. It def left my hair softer and after applying a egg sized amount of the mousse and blowing it out, it had amazing volume and held styling. During the day it fell a bit but it responded well to a little primping. The only problem was that my typically dry hair did look a little greasy by the end of the day. I would def recommend this to someone with thin/fine hair. It may be a little heavy for longer hair.

Treatments -Dermalogica - Concealing Spot Treatment
rated 4 of 5

When I read all the positive reviews of this "dream" product, I was compelled to run out and purchase it. Dermalogica is an amazing line that I've used for years however... I applied the spot treatment at night because the color was way too dark for my fair skin tone. It also didn't conceal anything, just looked like an orange spot on my skin. But, I wasn't looking for a concealer and I was prepared for the dark color. It def helped the huge blemish I had developed on my forehead, but I did not get the magical results I had hoped for. It did help shrink the size a bit, but not the redness. Thankfully, it wasn't too drying (no flakiness.) I did not notice the sulfur smell others complained about. I will continue to use this treatment as I feel new blemishes starting and see if it's more effective as a preventative.
