Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Scentsational perfume oil Leilani

Scentsational of Huntington has renamed this fragrance "Leilani"- probably because it smells so much like Child, the Child lawyers probably got involved.
This fragrance oil is one of the best tropical fragrances out there. The smell of lush Hawaiian flowers, but not overpowering. Fresh, soothing, and wonderfully tropical, this scent lasts and lasts as it is a perfume oil. Scentsational also makes a Pikaki oil (Peacock), but that oil is a bit sharper and sweeter. Leilani(Child) is softer and more wearable in my opinion.
Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze Gelee in medium deep

The color wasn't orange, but it was a bit too dark for my fair skin. The smell was good, even after it was on for a while- the smell remained pleasant. I did find this to take a while to dry and it was a bit sticky during the dry down. I have found other products like Banana Boat and Estee Lauder which give me a better color (not quite as dark) and don't take as long to dry. So, now I am trying out the L'Oreal lotion instead of the gelee and trying out the light-medium color instead to see if I like it better than this medium-deep gelee.
This is it! I've always had trouble applying bronzer, but no more trouble now that I have this brush. I had been coveting the Nars bronzer brush. When I went to Sephora, I compared the Nars and Sephora brush side by side. I really couldn't tell the difference between them. Well, the big difference is that the Sephora brush is half the price. This is the best brush for applying bronzer, as it comes out looking smooth and natural. If you use powder bronzer, then you need this brush.
Lipstick -Mirenesse - Mirenesse Luscious Lips Duet

The best thing about this product is the design. It's nice to have the liner on one side and lipstick on the other. Good for travel, too. I have this in the Jack & Rose color combination. The liner is a nice neutral rose color, while the lipstick is a bit more pinky. I have trouble wearing the lipstick by itself, as it is a little too light and pink for me (I have yellow-based skin), but with the liner, it looks great. The liner and lipstick are of average good quality- nothing spectacular, but a good product.

Did somebody mow the lawn? Well, that's what it smells like. It is very green and grassy. I do like clean scents, but this one is a bit too sharp for my taste.
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Glyderm - Lotion Lite Plus 10%

This product worked well for my acne prone skin. It makes your skin tingle and the product feels acidic and tacky, but that's what I wanted as it is glycolic acid. It gets rid of dead skin well. Do not use this right after you exfoliate, or you will be burning up (I learned this the hard way)! It is a 10% solution in a light lotion, so it is not oily. It is a simple solution that doesn't have a whole lot in it besides glycolic acid, but that's what I wanted. For just straight old glycolic acid, this is probably one of the best ones out there. You get a lot in the bottle, so it's a good deal. I don't know if I would categorize this as a moisturizer. It's more of a treatment to me.
Spice used to be my HG of lipliners, but Whirl has just replaced it. Whirl is the perfect YLBB shade for me. I'm PPP with fair yellow-based skin (Mac C15/Px Vellum). Whirl is a dusty rose or a browned rose color. It is pinker than Spice, but lighter and more neutral than Plum, and deeper and more browny than Cedar. Whirl isn't flashy and won't cause you to gasp in its uniqueness. It's just a great basic shade and I love it.
When I first saw Lovechild, I was worried that it would be too plummy or even too lavendar on me. I am a warm-toned PPP. But, Lovechild turned out to be great. It is a perfect blend of soft plum and rose, that doesn't turn into a too plum or too wine of a color. I am so glad that I found this. It's wearable as an everyday color.
This is my HG bronzer. I have tried MAC (including refined golden), Lancome, drug stores, but this one is the best. It is the perfect color, even for my PPP skin. It is not orange, but a nice matte bronze that is not blotchy or muddy. And the compact is huge!
Polishes -Bourjois - Very Vernis - Rose Caraibes 25

This color is fantastic. It is a coral with a microshimmer (not glitter) that flashes a gold-green irridescence. I only put on one coat and it looked fantastic. Applies very smoothly. Cute bottle, too. At $9 a bottle at Sephora, the price isn't bad.
Amazing! This is the only eyeliner that will stay on my oily lids. This stuff lasts all day. I even slept in it once, and it was still there in the morning! I own sepia (a great dark brown) and violet ink (a dark purple that will make brown and green eyes pop). I apply them with my fine point eyeliner brush (MAC #210).
Lip Treatments -Blistex - DCT for lips - Daily Conditioning Treatment SPF 20

This is my HG lip balm. I have been using this for more than 15 years (when it used to be in the white tub!). I usually only use it at night, as it is thick. If my lips are in bad shape, then I will use it during the day (has SPF) with a lip pencil. I have tried many other balms, but I always come back to this one. Nothing gets my lips as soft and as quickly as this. Tastes like petroleum (no fruity flavor). I think of it more as a treatment product rather than a cosmetic.
While it does not "set" your makeup, it definitely makes my makeup look less cakey. It gives a refreshing, slightly dewey look and makes my foundation look less like foundation and more like my skin. A nice topper after StudioFix. It makes StudioFix look less dry and cakey.
I only use this on my lips (it tends to fade on the cheeks). I love it on my lips. It has pretty good staying power on the lips. I have the Neo Aura shade, which is a brown shade (like a dark nude). I get so many compliments when I wear it with my MAC Spice lip pencil. The stain gives lips more depth than lipstick. Watch out for the other colors, as they are not for everyone. Liquid Kiss tends to turn a deep rose/fuschia on me, which doesn't look good on my Px yellow-orange PPP skin. Cupid's Breath turns into a coral red on me, which is too orangey on me. If you can find the right color for you, it is great on the lips.
