I love bare minerals products generally. However, this blush- though pretty to look at- was poorly pigmented and applied patchy. I took it to work one day in anticipation of going out after work and when I applied it to my cheeks, I was so disappointed. I actually tossed it in the trash. :o(

Highlighters -Bare Escentuals - Pure Radiance

This highlighter just did not work well on my tanned skin. It accentuated every pore and wrinkle and gave my skin a strange metallic sheen. I had it for years then tossed in the garbage. I recommend trying this product before purchasing. I am otherwise a huge bare minerals fan.

Mascara -Revlon - PhotoReady 3D Volume Waterproof

This mascara was relatively expensive for a drug store mascara. I don't like the brush wand and formula. This mascara gets clumpy quickly, the brush is pokey and doesn't do a great job separating my lashes, and the formula is difficult to remove (which may be because it is a waterproof formula - something to note). I don't like this mascara and would not repurchase. In the garbage it goes.

In short, good lengthening mascara, but the formula is super super dry and it leaves my lashes really stiff. I hate having stiff hard lashes....that just can't be a good thing for them. The formula was also difficult to take off. I just got this today, but from testing it alone, I discovered it was not for me. Hope this review was helpful.

I ordered this from Walmart and just got it today. I wanted to write a review before tossing - yes it's that bad for me. The formula is super dry, the wand has an odd curved shape which I hate, and the bristles are super stiff and poke the soft skin around the eye when you are putting the mascara on. This mascara did a really good job lengthening, but the formula (perhaps because of its dry texture) left my lashes feeling super stiff. The formula was also difficult to remove. In short, this mascara is not for me - the brush is too pokey and the formula too dry.

Mascara -Prestige - My Blackest Lashes

This is a hard product to review because I absolutely hate it, but would definitely recommend it to someone else. So this is "the thing". It gives my lashes a really nice look - adds nice volume and length. It is not dramatic nor does it impart just an every day look to my lashes, it just really nicely enhances the way my lashes look. The brush is a nice big brush and the bristles are relatively soft. My issue with this mascara is that I find the formula to be like glue on my lashes. Being a more mature woman, I hate the idea of having to rub and tug on my eye to remove mascara. I have purchased this mascara twice, and both times I ended up throwing it away in a matter of weeks. I really want to love it, but I don't feel it is worth the damage I have to do to my eye to remove it every day. Those are my thoughts on this product.

This lip balm comes in a very classic twist up plastic container. Nothing really fancy or even pretty. It has a really pleasant scent - like natural citrus. It has a hard/firm texture and leaves a greasy residue on your lips. I did not find this lip balm moisturizing at all. It feels greasy going on, but gradually fades leaving your lips feeling thirsty and dry. I would not recommend.

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Mascara

I hated this mascara. I received it as a free sample and tried it for about a month. It did not add volume or length, transferred like crazy, clumped like a motherF******* and actually made my lashes look worse than natural. Despite the fact that it is the color black, it actually looked grey on my lashes. It was not a good mascara for me and I would not recommend.

I received a free sample of this mascara. I found that it did not add length or volume and especially did not hold a curl. I have normal lashes - not too long or short. This mascara wasn't awful, it just wasn't special. I experienced some transferring during the day. Would not recommend or purchase.

I dumped this product in the garbage after several months. I tried my best to make it work but it dries my lips out and has poor staying power. And it applies in a streaky manner. And it's just awful to use. One of the few make-up products I actually grew to hate. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend it. I love the Revlon versions, which I find to be better quality.

This product dries out my lips and has very poor staying power--the absolute opposite of what it claims to provide. For the price, I personally believe it is a waste of money. I hated it so much I threw it in the garbage. The claims regarding lip plumping properties are bogus.

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Albolene cleanser

I have oily acne prone sensitive skin. This product does not break me out, however it can be tricky to use because it is so goopy and oily. I usually smear it all over my face, rub it in, then use a warm cotton face towel to remove the product (along with my make-up). It is not great at removing mascara, but otherwise leaves my skin smooth and clean--without over drying (which many cleansers tend to do). I would definitely recommend as a gentle and moisturizing cleanser, especially if you are using prescription strength acne products (as I do) which tend to dry and irritate the skin. I found it at DR.

This product doesn't moisturize, it's expensive and leaves a white residue (freakish residue) on the lips. I would not recommend. Try Chapstick instead--cheaper and it works!!

Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara

Ok, sorry. I really am. I wanted to love this product. My current HG is Lancome Hypnose waterproof and I have been desperately looking for a cheaper mascara that gives me the wear, volume and lengthening that lancome does. This product looks amazing. It has a jumbo plastic brush with short bristles that many people love, much like covergirl lashblast. The product is black and it applies smoothly the first couple of weeks. However, this is where the good review ends. First, it stings my eyes. If I accidentally rub my eyes (as I always do even with the lancome), the physicians formula mascara hurts so bad (whereas lancome doesn't irritate). Also, it does not last and for the price, in my estimation, it's more expensive than lancome hypnose. I get about 4 months of daily good wear out of my lacome (if not more), the physicians formula lasts only 1 month and it dries out (at $10 a pop, that's $40 for 4 months compared to lancome's $24). Also, lancome is just superior in quality, in lengthening and volumizing.

I just don't get the hype. This product is a light browny bronzer with slight sparkle. It looks incredibly flat on my skin and actually accentuates my pores and fine lines. Basically, it makes me look older. So the whole point of putting make-up on is to look better not worse. The color in the pan looks beautiful and perfect. However, on my skin it has an orangey hue--which is really strange and crazy because in the pan it is a perfect light brown color. This bronzer is made in Italy (per packaging disclosure), so theoretically it should be incredible. But I hate it. I tried to make it work, but I just really really hate it. Moreover, for a drug store product it is ridiculously expensive (approx. $15). Will not repurchase or recommend.
