I did not like this at all. I used this for almost a week, just to be fair. My eyeshadow did not last more than a couple hours before it was fading and creasing, leaving me with splotchy eyeshadow for the rest of the day. I won't buy this again.

Mascara -Maybelline - XXL PRO 24HOUR BOLD

This is my favorite mascara! I have long, dark lashes, but they are not very plentiful. This mascara makes my lashes look really full and long, almost like falsies. It lasts all day without smudging or flaking, but it comes off pretty easily with mascara remover. I will definitely continue to buy this mascara.

This didn't work at all for me. The color looked beautiful, but did not show up dark enough on me. It didn't last any longer than a regular eyeliner, either. Will not repurchase.

Cleansers -Laura Mercier - Oil Free Gel Cleanser

I love this cleanser! I have 'normal' skin with occasional break-outs and very little oiliness, but some uneven tone. I have been using this for about a month. This cleanser makes my skin so soft and really clear and even looking. It does not leave my skin feeling dry or tight. It is expensive, but definitely worth the money.

Toners -Laura Mercier - Perfecting Water - Light

I bought this along with the Oil Free Gel Cleanser, thinking that the two would work better together. I have 'normal' skin with occasional break-outs and very little oiliness. I used this as directed, applying it with a cotton pad after I washed my face. This made my face sooooo oily. Especially under my makeup, my face was like an oil slick. Even at night, my face felt greasy. Yuck! Back to Sephora it goes.

Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Metallic Cream Eye Shadow

I bought this in Alloy. I really like the color; it is a nice basic sort of taupe color on me. I don't mind the metallic look because I normally wear another color on top. However, it just does not last that long on me. I have tried dusting it with loose powder, wearing another shadow on top, wearing primer underneath, it just doesn't matter; this shadow slides off my eyes by mid-day. I thought this would be more like the MAC paints, which last so long for me. It's not though, so I am returning it.

Powders -Laura Mercier - Mineral Finishing Powder

I really wanted to like this powder, but I don't! I bought this to use over my LM Tinted Moisturizer (my HG). This powder just seemed to settle into weird spots on my face and highlight things that I didn't even know were there. It didn't seem to set my makeup at all. What I really hate though is the packaging. I am always very careful with my loose powder containers so that I don't end up with a powder explosion in my bathroom, but this powder just seemed to leak out of the container. Way too messy for me. I am returning this.

I received this as a sample from Sephora. I had tried it on a test strip before and thought it was nice. However, this smells horrible on my skin. It starts off smelling very rose-y, which is surprisingly pleasant. After it dries down, though, it smells almost dirty on my skin; like rotten, stinky flowers. It does seem to last a long time, though, as I had to shower to get the stench off. So this is my warning: try before you buy!

I have been using this cleanser for almost a month. I love it! It makes my skin super soft and doesn't leave any residue. In fact, I'm really surprised by all of the negative comments regarding makeup removal. This takes off all of my makeup, even mascara, with no excess product use or scrubbing. I am very happy with this and will continue to use it.

I have been using this product consistently for about 4 months. This does nothing for my skin. Aveda says that this is supposed to increase smoothness, reduce pore size and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. I didn't notice any of that. In fact, my pores look larger and my skin tone uneven whenever I use this. I will not repurchase.

I have been using this eye cream consistently for about 4 months. I'm not sure what it is that this product is supposed to do, but for me it did nothing. I didn't notice any brightening of the eye area; it didn't even seem to moisturize, as the skin around my eyes seemed more dry. My little tube is finally gone and I will not be repurchasing. Seems like another of Aveda's products that does absolutely nothing.

I received this as a sample, but I checked the price and it seems pretty expensive. I liked this for a while, but I don't think this really does anything. My makeup looked the same and lasted just as long without this. The smell is fabulous, though; made it feel very luxe. Can't say that I would purchase this.

I received this as a sample from Sephora. This is just icky. It felt goopy on my eyes and didn't last at all. I did like the packaging though. It would have been easy to throw in my purse. I won't buy this and can't recommend it.

Powder -Laura Mercier - Foundation Powder

I love this foundation! I use this over Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and I get a flawless finish all day. I don't normally have to touch up during the day, but I will if I am going out for the night. Overall, I recommend this product and will definitely re-purchase.

Cleansers -Kate Somerville - Detox Cleanser

I have combination, acne-prone skin and have struggled with uneven skin tone and large pores. I love this cleanser! I have been using this with the clarifying toner and anti-bac lotion for about 3 weeks. My skin has done a complete turn around! I broke out a little the first week or so, but ever since then I have seen improvements daily. My skin is smooth and totally clear and my pores are less noticeable. I don't have a problem with the packaging and the product doesn't seem runny to me. So far, this is HG for me. I also have to rave about their customer service. About two weeks after I placed my order, one of their "Skin Health Experts" called me to make sure I was happy with the products and see if I had any questions. I am very impressed with this company and their products. UPDATE: After about four months of continuous use, I started getting cystic acne on my chin. I switched back to Aveda, and it went away. I loved the way this made my skin look at first, but after a while, it just made my skin worse. Too bad.
