I love Quo brushes in general, they're cheap (especially if Shoppers is having a sale!), soft, don't shed, and apply makeup nicely. Of course, there are much higher quality brushes out there, but I'd rather use my entire Quo set for less than the price of one higher quality brush. And seeing as how I'm not into makeup artistry or using my makeup for theatre or tv, the Quo brushes suit me just fine. The brushes I love the most: The concealer brush is perfect for my MAC potted concealer. It's firm enough to spot treat, but just soft enough to blend the concealer. The angled eyeshadow brush is perfect for lining my eyes, contouring my eyeshadow, and fixing up my brows. However, I abhor the blush brush. This is the only blush brush I've had that no matter which way I go at it, my blush always comes up scary looking. (And I know it's not the blush or me since I get amazing results using BE's flawless face brush.) Not to mention mine sheds like no tomorrow. Oh and did I mention how the water ran blueish black when I went to wash it? It definitely wasn't makeup since I only use peach blush.... But other than that, great quality brushes for an affordable price!
Fair product. I'm sure there are other really great lip glosses out there, but this one did it for me. It wasn't sticky or tacky and gave me a really nice clear gloss. My lips are naturally... Plump. They aren't big or anything, but I don't really need lip plumper. I'm not sure what it was, but this gloss just made my lips look really nice.
Although the product is amazing, I'm still not sure if it's the best alternative. I did all three steps at first, but after a while my face became dry and I switched the 3rd step to moisturizing with organic aloe vera gel. I was very skeptical, but Pro Activ worked wonders for my skin. I have never had really bad skin, but I definately never had that really nice clear complexion like Nicole Kidman. After using Pro Activ for a few weeks I noticed that my blemishes had cleared up and my skin tone was sooooo even. I don't think I will continue using Pro Activ because of the price and the harsh ingredients.
I don't know what to think about this product... I guess I haven't used it enough to see great results... The reason I haven't used it a lot though is because it STINKS!!! I cannot stand the smell which is odd since I slather on the ACV and the tea tree oil and all that. The weird herbal smell with the tacky texture completely puts me off of this product...
I'm not sure if I tested Hanae Mori or Hanae Mori Butterfly so I'll just leave a review here... The scent was definately "me" but at the same time, it was way too sweet and cloying. Did anyone else think this smelled like lychees?
My boyfriend wears this, and I absolutely adore it. I find that most males wear the same few fragrances (Swiss Army, Dolce & Gabbana, Cool Water, Acqua di Gio...) so Le Male really stands out to me. I love the powdery musk dry down, it's very clean smelling, but definately a masculine scent.
H&M is an okay store... It's good for those trendy items you don't want to spend a lot of money on... Unfortunately nothing fits me!!! Although H&M kids has some of the best fitting pants I have found to date. If anything, the accessories are really great.
I haven't tried the Shu Uemura eyelash curler, but the Shiseido eyelash curler is AMAZING! I have previously been using the a revlon curler which hurt, did not cover all my lashes, and kind of bent them upwards instead of curling them. The Shiseido is the complete opposite. It's quick, easy, and painless to curl my eyelashes now. The results are also amazing... A beautiful, pronounced, yet natural curl that make my eyes pop. P.S. I opted for Shiseido over Shu Uemura since a)it is readily available at any department store (Shu Uemura I could only find at Sephora and a couple of really pricey boutiques) and b)it is soooo much cheaper. I was not disappointed.
Wow. I hadn't realized how bad the regular drugstore brand toothpastes were until I tried Weleda. I decided to try out some Weleda products because of their association with Steiner. Though I don't know much about Steiner I know that anything associated with him would be the healthiest, natural thing there could be. I was definately not wrong. The taste is takes a little getting used to and the no-foam brushing leaves me a little worried as to whether or not I've brushed properly, but the end result is great. My once aching and bleeding gums are now nice and healthy again. Great product.
Mascara -Prescriptives - False Eyelashes Plush Mascara

Where should I begin? Well first of all, this is definitely my HG mascara. No wait... Let me tell you a little something. To begin with, I have thick, long, curly lashes. Any mascara works for me because I was (thankfully!!!) naturally endowned (unfortunately only in the eyelash department). Anyway, my eyelashes are apparently so nice that most guys comment only on my eyelashes... Yes... The little hairs attached to my eyelids. While most girls have beautiful faces, drop dead gorgeous figures, or lucious hair... I have pretty lashes. So the point of this digression is that, before Prescriptives, I was living it up. Or at least my eyelashes were. So there I was (going back and forth between Great Lash and Definicil) about to restock on my classic Lancome, when my friend suggested I try Priscriptives Flash Eyelashes. Being the adventurous person I am, I bought the mascara. Wow. If I thought that my eyelashes were doing it for me before... Let's just say a lot of people ask me if I am wearing false eyelashes now. Anywho... Sorry for the really long review, I just wanted to point out how great this mascara is. It definately lives up to its name of false eyelashes. Oh and on a side note I LOVE the ergonomic rubber grip on the lash handle...
Though I will never give up my MAC eyeshadows, Prescriptives has really good pigmentation (is that a word)? The shadows go on very evenly and have amazing staying power. If MAC wasn't such a great company with sooo many colours to choose from, Prescriptives just might be my HG shadow. Although... The packaging is very weird... Very space age-ish.
This scent is very sweet but dries down to... Something almost non existant. I love the beginning scent of grapfruit, but the staying power is absolutely horrible. After only a few hours it's completely gone.
I LOVE this shampoo. I have difficulty finding shampoos that agree with my thick, course, and unmangeable hair, but EO really does it for me. Most shampoos dry out my hair, but this one has made it shiny and healthy again.
Other -Aura Cacia - 100% Essential Oils (All Plants)

I don't know much about other companies that sell EO, but I'm pretty sure Aura Cacia is definately an affordable and reliable company. You can tell because their more expensive EOs like jasmine and neroli are not extremely diluted, and the EOs are sized and priced according to their rarity.
Moisturizers -Olay - Complete Defense All Day Moisturizer SPF15

This is my HG moisturizer. I have tried so many others but I always come back to Olay. It's lightweight, great for everyday use, but leaves my skin so soft and smooth. It doesn't break me out or leave dry flaky patches behind. All around great moisturizer.
