Mascara -Shiseido - Perfect Mascara

This is the closest thing to perfect. This is Shiseido's version of a tubing mascara (doesn't say so, but you can tell from the smell--which isn't too bad, it goes away when it's dry--and it comes off in tubes/rubbery chunks when you remove with water). Granted, if I wear this alone and skip Shiseido's Mascara Base, it's not that great, but I have very difficult lashes (stick-straight and downward-pointing). I love the stiffness to the brush--it can get to all the little lashes really well. Minimal clumping. Extremely black, excellent volume. With the Shiseido Mascara Base, it gives really good definition. No flaking, no smudging. This isn't waterproof, but if your eyes water (mine do because I get allergies and I wear contacts), it will hold up. Just don't drench it with water because it's meant to be removed with water. When you remove it, it's actually more difficult with makeup remover (I use Shiseido's Instant Eye and Lip Makeup Remover), so just remove the rest of your eye makeup, leaving whatever mascara that's still on alone. Then, when you wash your face and your lashes are wet, just pass your fingers under your lashes, sweeping upward, and that should take it off in the little tubes! Also, the packaging is really elegant and pretty--it follows the shape of the Perfect Rouge lipstick tubes.

this is THE blending brush. it's stiff enough to pick up colour and fluffy enough to distribute it properly. my makeup looks have greatly improved because of this.

i'm giving this a 2 because it glides on really smoothly and is a true black...but um...it smudges. travels twice the thickness of the line originally drawn on my waterline. i had so much faith in this pencil.

look, i know things crease on me...but not in 5 minutes...and not after i put on TFSI. so...in other words, this sucks crap. shame, though, the colour is soooo beautiful. i'll need to find a dupe for the colour.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE THIS LINER. honestly, it's really hard for me to find a decent black liner that doesn't travel down my lid or smudge or fade from the waterline, especially since i wear contacts and have allergies, so my eyes water a lot and my lids are oily, to boot. but this one? IT DOES NOT COME OFF. (you're gonna need some good mu remover for this) now, that said, the MA told me that it's not recommended for the waterline, but i can do what i want with it at my own risk. and of course, because i love the black waterline, i took that risk. the brush applicator = useless, but i use MAC's 210 and 212 brush to make my eyeliner look perfect. and then it stays perfect for the rest of the day! whoo!!! i honestly tried sooooooooo many liners and wasted so much money on liners...i wonder why i never tried this sooner. i hope it never gets discontinued.

i paid 30CAD for this thing and i can't return it. what a total waste of money. and money isn't easy to come by for me. drops my curl like putting poo on my lashes. so much for "putting a cast" over my lashes to keep the curl up. it's so effin' GOOPY. ew. all i can say is that it's a total waste of money. P.S. if you think that Shiseido's mascara base can save this mascara like it can with other curl-killing mascaras...Kiss Me is like Shiseido Mascara Base Massacre. are you surprised? cuz i am.

now that sephora's open, i'm making my mission to test everything there is to test in terms of eyeliner and mascara. so what do i think? i am disappointed. Pros: glides smoothly, very black. Cons: smudges, fades, travels very far from where it should be.

Pros: - pencil doesn't break when sharpening. - cap actually stays on the end of the pencil. - goes on really smoothly without skipping. - pigmented. Cons: - SMUDGES. - smudges a little less when TFSI is used on lower lid. In other words, I'm moving on when I'm done with this pencil.

Hate this. I know it was gold, but it made me look so yellow, and I'm only on the brink of an NC25 at MAC. It looks even worse in daylight. If it was without the gold shimmer, I would love it.

♥ this. i don't really wear fdtn because it will cover my freckles and i hate it when my freckles are hidden. but i am out on concealer--i've tried so many undereye concealers and blemish concealers and nothing seems to match my skin well. then the MA at the counter suggested i try this fdtn (i've tried the Studio Sculpt concealer and it sucked balls). the MA used a sponge to pat it lightly into my dark circles and over some mild redness and blemishes--worked GREAT. for ONCE, i don't look like i'm 50 in just the section under my eyes and it DID NOT CREASE. FTR, i'm NW25 in this foundation--i'm Asian with a neutral skintone.

***EDIT*** so. i put it through the ultimate test, today. what's the ultimate test? ULTIMATE TEST = SECKSYTIME WITH BF. and did it last? NOPE. this eyeliner is SO not smudgeproof or waterproof. it's not even sex-proof. back to the store it goes. ---------- O. M. F. G. THIS IS THE BEST EYELINER EVAR. i have tried so many different brands and everything would slip and slide and smudge with or without primer and such and such... but this one? it goes on super smoothly, it's richly black, it works really well on your waterline, it's super creamy... AND IT DOESN'T FREAKING BUDGE. i wear contacts, i have allergies--i basically tear a lot and i'm quite oily too. but now, i can have that elegant, mysterious look of black liner on the waterline in a snap. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. if it were a guy, i'd want to spend the rest of my life in bed with it. p.s. idk what this talk of iridescence...blue...i don't see any of that. just black.

Received this in a swap and I love this sosososososo much. I will definitely buy this when I've sharpened it to a stump. While I tend to like harder pencils and pencil eyeliners (it just so happens to be my favourite form of eyeliner delivery--no redipping, etc), I'll forgive the UD 24/7s because THEY STAY ON LIKE MAD. This is literally the only eyeliner that hasn't smudged or faded on me. The colour is my favourite--plum. It also has copper glitter, which is a nice touch. I wear contacts and I like that it doesn't irritate, even with the glitter and that because I use eyedrops often, it still doesn't come off. Looks great when paired with MAC Haux eyeshadow.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 195 Concealer Brush

It's a clumsy and useless brush. Doesn't blend very well--you can see the lines the bristles leave as you move the brush. The only thing it does is pick up the concealer and put it on. But you can do that with your finger. It's also a bit big for the undereye area.

um...this is SO not a pigment...it's just A HOT GLITTERY MESS. A HOT GLITTERY MESS doesn't stay on one's brush, nor on one's skin. A HOT GLITTERY MESS was a waste of money.
