Primer/ Corrector -Peter Thomas Roth - Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel

I was VERY disappointed with this product. Went on smoothly, but did nothing to control oil. I read all the reviews here and no one mentioned the odor of this product. Pee-yew! I have to almost hold my breath while putting it on my face. The fact that no one else mentioned it makes me think it is not supposed to have an odor. Which makes me wonder if mine is old? I think I'll take it back to Ulta. The smell alone is not worth it. I thought the price was high, too.
I was very disappointed with this eye cream. Especially after what I paid for it...almost $50! I felt it did nothing. I used the entire container religiously each morning and night. I've used a lot of eye creams in my time and this was a big disappointment. I will not buy this again. It was not very moisurizing and I like a little thicker texture/cream.
Wow! I must say I am impressed with this mascara. I received a new tube in a swap (thanks, Suze!). I like to apply several coats of mascara and have dramatic lashes. This stuff does not clump! I have a major problem with clumping with other mascaras. With this one, each lash is separated and looks, well, like the name says, "Full and Soft!" They really do! I am so, so happy with this mascara - will absolutely, definitely purchase it. :)
Moisturizers -Mary Kay - Nighttime Recovery System

I love this stuff! Being combo/acne-prone, I've always been bummed that I have to use more gel-like texture moisturizers or a lightweight lotion. This is a cream - I love putting it on and smoothing it into my skin at night. I have been super happy with the results. Smoother, clearer skin - and hydrated. Because oily/combo skin still needs to be hydrated. I just love this night cream. :)
Scrubs -Origins - Never A Dull Moment Skin Brightening Facial Polisher

I received a deluxe sample of this in a swap. I absolutely love scrubs and have tried a lot - this one just does not do it for me. I found this to be pretty gooey and gel-like, the few grains that were in it felt very big and sharp on my skin. I prefer scrubs that are very grain-y. I won't be purchasing this scrub.
I received a generous sample of this from ktm13 (thanks, Kathleen!) and finally tried it. Am sorry I waited so long! I love this color! A beautiful olive with gold shimmer. I used it to line and it made my hazel eyes pop. Am super happy with it and when I finish the sample, I will most likely go buy one. Two thumbs up from me!
Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimpse - Black Pearl

I got this as part of a QVC TSV special. The only reason I wouldn't buy it again is because I won't ever need to - this jar will last me the rest of my life! :) It's a pretty, dark, shimmer purple. I find it too dark for crease, so I use it only for lining. I have used it wet and dry and like the look of both. Very pretty color. A little goes a long way.
I love this mattifier. Have been nothing but happy with it. (I'm a MK consultant, so price was right for me LOL!). Anyways, I apply a little amount (a little goes a long way) over my moisturizer, under my foundation. Definitely wait to apply foundation until the mattifier has completely dried. It has definitely kept oilies away - have had to powder much, much less. Which is great for my skin. I hate having a shiny nose! This stuff rocks - have gotten a few friends hooked on it and have heard nothing but raves.
Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer in Nude Beach

This shade is gorgeous! I am already so in love with Bare Escentuals glimmers - this is another to add to the list of favorites! I am really into shimmery shadows - I use this as an everyday wash all over my lids and just love it. A pretty nude/cream. Two thumbs up! And a little goes a looooooong way.
I bought this from h20plus.com - it was part of a set. It's ok. The scent is great. The actual shower gel is average - nothing special about this one at all. It is your basic shower gel. I do like that it stands upside down. I won't repurchase - not worth the price.
I received a tub of this in a swap. Have been very happy with it. It is pretty thick and moisturizing. I use it primarily on my feet at night with socks. It has made my feet ultra-soft. The scent is nice - I like it. The only reason I wouldn't buy this is because it is very greasy - hard to get the grease off my hands after applying. I prefer some of the other body butters - ones made for more normal to dry skin versus very dry skin as Shea is.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Body Butter - Soy [DISCONTINUED]

I got this during a big sale at Christmas. Regularly $16, I think I got it for $9. I liked this body butter. Used it primarily on my feet at night with socks over it. Feet are definitely softer. This body butter is nice as it was a lighter texture, used it sometimes as my body lotion for the day. Absorbed quickly and no real noticeable scent that would interfere with my perfume. Was happy with this product. Read on here that it has been discontinued - am glad I bought 2 tubs!
Pressed Powders -Clean & Clear - Invisible Shine Control Powder [DISCONTINUED]
jenvince 6/16/2003 3:07:00 PM
I received this in a swap and just recently swapped for a second one. I really, really like this powder. YES! As all the girls stated below, amount is key, otherwise it does look blu-ish on. So, once you know how much your skin can handle while still looking normal, this stuff is great. I am combo skin with an oily t-zone. Would use regular pressed powder to blot and by the end of the day, the powder was cakey and heavy looking. With this C&C powder, I no longer have that problem. The oil is absorbed and stays away for much longer than when I was using pressed powder. I love this stuff. Nice, small compact and really keeps the oilies away. I'm hooked!
I got a tube of this in a goody bag from an event I went to. Liked it the first time I wore it but never again after that. Yuck. Felt it was very clumpy - made my lashes all stick together, rather than separate them. I was not happy at all with this mascara. The texture was thick - all around disappointing.
Eye Makeup Remover -Lancome - Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Make-up Remover
jenvince 6/11/2003 1:49:00 PM
Overall, I like this product. Removes my eye make-up without pulling or tugging. Just shake the bottle to mix, put some on a cotton ball and sweep over closed eyes. Have never had a problem with this item. Very easy to use and does the job. Only reason I put I wouldn't buy this again is because I get bottles in gwps - I would never go pay for this item.
