Eye Primer -Tarte - Lifted™ Natural Eye Primer with Firmitol™

I love this primer. I got it in sample size from Sephora, and now I'm about to buy the full-sized tube. What's not to love about this primer? It doesn't contain parabens or chemicals, it prevents creasing like the UDPP primer, plus it tightens my eye area! Winner :)
I probably never would have tried this, but I was given a sample at Sephora a couple of months ago, and just recently decided to try it. Well, I am so glad I did. I ADORE this foundation. The shade (20C) is perfect for me...it just sinks in and really, you can't even tell I'm wearing foundation. It does have some firming/lifting effect I notice, and this foundation just works really well with my dry skin and does wonders for my face. Another thing is that it lasts all day. I don't use a setting powder over it (or any powder for that matter) and I easily wear it some days for 12 hours or more. It looks so nice at the end of the night that I almost don't want to take it off! Love this foundation...this has become my new HG over MUFE HD and Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. The biggest drawback is the price ($60 CAN) but it's worth it!
Terrible product. Same as if I tried to color my lips with a Sharpie. The product was uneven and accentuated any and every little crack in my lips, even one's I didn't know I had! I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. There is nothing remotely positive I can say about this lipstain
I am on the fence about Sheer Glow. I wanted to have it because of all the RAVE reviews about it here and...everywhere. I do like it...sometimes. What I mean is, sometimes I put this on, and my skin looks amazing...it goes on sheer, looks natural, but makes my skin look healthy and luminous. Other times I apply this, and it enhances my dry patches and makes my skin look dull. Yes, DULL. I don't get it. So I have a love-hate relationship with this product. Would I buy it again? I don't know. At $60 CA., I can't see me picking this up again...the results are just too inconsistent.
This is great as a moisturizer. it's very emollient and leaves my skin feeling satiny-soft, but my main purpose in using this for the past year was for stretch marks. This did nothing. Even worse, I got more stretch marks in the places I was applying this (twice daily) to. Not cool at all. Don't believe the hype about this preventing and fading stretch marks....that's all it is - hype.
Love this mascara! I know how popular the original was and to this day, still is (I always read how a lot of makeup artists still consider it a must have) but I wasn't a huge fan. I tried it years ago, but I don't recall being overly impressed with it. I decided to give Lots of Lashes a try since it got so many glowing reviews on youtube, and I'm quite glad I did. This has become one of my staples. It lengthens and volumizes my lashes magnificently, and the black brown color (I have pale skin and auburn hair) is neither too brown nor too black for me...it's perfect. Combined with my primer (Lancome Cils Booster XL) it gives me knockout lashes! J'adore!
I love this shampoo...it's probably my favorite volumizing shampoo, and I've tried a lot (salon quality and drugstore) and this one is the most effective. I actually got this in my Luxebox, so I basically got it for free. I tried Kerastase (brand I love) Bain Volumactive shampoo and it's crap. I love how this shampoo lathers, I've never experienced anything like it. I noticed a user saying that she took one lippie off because it made her hair feel a little dry...well, no surprise there. It's a volumizing shampoo, therefore it's not going to make your hair feel soft since that would kinda defeat the purpose. Anyway, this gives my hair fantastic volume and body, and the scent and sleek packaging are also winners! I would definitely repurchase this.
Love this! I've tried other primers before (I think I tried the Dior one) and wasn't impressed. I just returned Too Faced False Lashes (not bad, but $50 Canadian...wasn't worth that) and I got the Cils Booster XL instead because I heard good things about it. This, topped with either my Hypnose, Doll Lashes, Maybelline Great Last Lots of Lashes, or Cover Girl Lash Lash Exact, beats the Too Faced False Lashes any day! My lashes look thick, long, and curled, and this primer never makes them look clumpy, which was one thing that I was worried about. I recommend this primer to anyone looking for an extra boost with their normal mascara.
I've had this foundation for a while (about 6 months) but am only now starting to love it. I tried regular Vitalumiere, and although I have dry skin, it was too dewy for me and slipped off my skin...so I tried Vita Aqua, but this was too drying for me during the winter when I first tried it. It's been in my makeup drawer for the past couple of months and I decided to give it another go a few days ago. Well, it looks beautiful. The coverage is lovely, long-lasting, and it looks and feels so natural. Finally, I understand what all the fuss is about. Just be sure to give it a good shake each time.
Mascara -Chanel - Inimitable Mascara Multi-Dimensionnel

Disappointed is how I feel about this mascara. I don't expect miracles, but for $40, I do expect something pretty damn spectacular. I don't mind shelling out the cash if a product does what it claims to do. So, after reading about how amazing this mascara is, and seeing it rated as #1 on some websites, I expected nothing less than beautiful, long, full, volumized lashes. I purchased this at $40 (CAD) and couldn't wait to try it. It definitely lengthened my lashes, but provided absolutely no volume and left them looking wimpy and spidery. I decided to give it another go before returning it...but with the same results. My CG Lash Perfection and L'oreal Telescopic out-perform this mascara by a long-shot, at a fraction of the price. Thank goodness I was able to return it. Don't waste your money.
Shampoo -Redken - Intra Force Hair Thickening Kit - Coloured hair

I was excited to try this 3-step system because Redken's products are usually pretty good. I was using Nioxin before this, and decided to buy this when my Nioxin ran out. I've been using this for 2 months, and have seen or felt no positive results from use. In actuality, my hair feels and looks thinner since I've stopped the Nioxin and started using this. The only thing I like about this product is the scent. Otherwise, it's crap, and I will be humbly returning to my beloved Nioxin right away. Don't waste your money in this, try Nioxin instead.
Pressed Powders -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Pressed Powder

I got this free when I ordered something online. The other day I decided to try it just for kicks. I used it alone and applied it with my MAC187. Not sure if that's the best application method, but I was very impressed with how this turned out. I live in a dry climate and I suffer from extremely dry skin, and this powder did not look or feel drying on me at all. It evened out my skin tone and looked totally natural. I really love this for days when I'm in a rush and not going anywhere special, but I want my skin to look presentable and decent. I'm also not big into mineral powders or foundations, but I am quite pleased with this. I took one lippie off because I had a red splotch on my face the day I wore it...not sure if it's from the powder, or from the increasingly cold temperature.
Fragrances -Stella McCartney - Stella- Eau de Parfum

I'm not a big perfume person, and when I'm looking for a scent I am quite picky. While browsing at Sephora the other day I came across this and dabbed a little on my wrist and left the store shortly after. Well, 10 minutes later, I was back at the store and purchasing the perfume because I love it so much. One of my favourite scents ever! Only complaint is staying power - but I wonder if that has anything to do with it being the roll on form? I'll probably buy the full-sized bottle once I run out. 6/3/12 - Love this perfume. Definitely one of my faves, along with Chloe.
Styling Products -Clairol - Herbal Essence Tousle Me Softly Spray Gel

I am a total hair product snob, so I purchased this with no expectations whatsoever. However, this stuff does great things to my hair. Overall, it gives me that sexy, tousled volume that I so often crave but rarely achieve with the best of products. Pleasantly suprised!
Shampoo -Pantene - Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Shampoo

This shampoo blows my mind! I've tried every big brand name in hair products you can think of. I've been using Kerastase Bain Satin shampoo and I got a sample of this in the mail and said "what the heck, I'll give it a try". I couldn't believe how soft my hair felt afterward. I've used it twice since then and my hair feels healthier every time, I swear, my hair hasn't felt this soft in a couple of years at least! I'll definitely be purchasing this to use regularly. Oh, and it smells great too. Love it!
