Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Drama

The brush just kills it. It is probably the weirdest and worst mascara brush I have ever used. The brush is in a weird squiggly shape, it's really weird. Because of the shape, there is a lot of clumping and application is very hard. The formula itself seems alright, average for a mascara. It is definitely darker and thicker than my Lancome Definicils mascara. Only thing about the formula that I don't like is the smell. It smells like roses and the unnecessary smell just makes the product seem cheap. If it weren't for the brush, the entire product would just work better. Overall, the high-end priced mascara doesn't perform and I will not be repurchasing.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Idol Eyes - Creme Shadow Pencil - Pixie

When I first saw this, I thought it would be a great base for my eyeshadow. At my Rite Aid, it was only $1.99 so price was definitely not an issue. Looking at the packaging and the actual tip of the shadow, it seemed to be a light neutral but shimmery brown. I got home and swatched it. Turns out, it's more of a frosty champagne color when blended. Very frosty and shimmery. I would definitely use it more for a highlighter than an actual base just because I don't like that much shine on my eyelids. Even though it's not what I expected, it is a very good product for the price. Lasting power is average, the product tends to move but a touch up now and then should suffice. One issue I have with the packaging is that it's hard to get the rest of the product after using the tip. The rest of the product is inside and you have to take off the gray end cap and use a thin object to push the product out. This can get messy and end up destroying some of the product. The only reason I will never buy this product again is because I already have so many cream shadows similar to this. Plus, this product really does take a long time to use up.
