Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Parlux - Jessica Simpson Fancy

I first smelled this on a friend & was surprised when she told me what it was! I purchased a bottle very inexpensively on ebay and am enjoying it. On me, it's similar to Angel or Chopard's Wish without the evergreen and patchouli notes. It definitely has a young feel to it and I'd call it a gourmand/oriental. I can see myself sharing this with my daughter and getting more use out of Fancy Nights personally, as it's loaded with patchouli and that's more me. For the price and bottle esthetic though, Fancy is a great deal and garners lots of compliments!

Wow.... I'm in love with this. I am a patchouli purist and have been wanting something to wear when I don't use straight patchouli oil and this reminds me of my favorite patchouli-vanilla incense. I'm not excited about telling people what it is when they ask, but I love it that much that I'm just going for it! I purchased mine on ebay for $8 and now will be on the hunt for the lotion & shower gel. Really, really pleasantly surprised & have a new favorite!
I am a patchouli fanatic. With that said, this is the perfect daytime wear-to-work-where-others-aren't-down-with-patchouli scent. The patchouli in this is a very light and fresh patchouli, and combines with tonka, musk, bitter orange, ginger, petitgrain, rose and caraway. It's not overpowering at all, and the drydown leaves me with a clean powdery scent. Seeing that I always gravitate toward spicy, woody patchoulis, this is a nice "compromise" scent for me that's appropriate all across the board.
Got this at Ulta & spent $15ish w/ a coupon. I have to say I'm thrilled with it! The premise is the natural look -- it's 15 eyeshadows - 3 creamy white colors, 2 pinky ones, a variety of taupes, greys, a black & a violet. They all are extremely gentle & blend nicely, and really are very natural looking. In addition, the palette contains 4 blushes -- a shimmery coral, a light bubblegum pink, a medium pink, and a flatters-all peachy pink. There are also 2 illuminators -- one ivory w/ shimmer, the other peach w/ shimmer, and a terracotta colored bronzer. The sizes of each shade are generous, and it's great having literally everything you need in one spot. The only thing I'd change is to cut out a little of the shimmer factor. Some colors have it, most do not -- I'm just not an overly shimmery type. The wearabilty is great, and the shades appear to be universally flattering. This could be a repeat purchase -- I like it that much!
wow. this is really special and lovely. i was lucky enough to find a 1/2 oz bottle on ebay for $20! this was created to invoke a moonlit garden, and it does capture that mood. there is a beautiful soft, clean almost soapy quality to it, yet it also has a very faint feel of nag champa incense to me, although it's definitely a floral. it's the perfect understated fragrance that you just want to get closer to, as the best perfumes are. hope you love it as much as me.
Bronzers -Bonne Bell - Blend n Glow in Natural Blush

HECK YEAH! 3 or so bucks at walmart... have been through 2 so far. this would be my stranded-on-a-desert-island-must-have item. doubles as blush & bronzer, and i love using the individual color quads as eye shadows and highlighters. i'd imagine this is flattering to just about every skin tone. this product makes getting ready in the morning very speedy -- i hope they never discontinue this!
grown up, resinous, sophisticated, sinfully expensive. i've been in love with this for some time now. although i do take breaks from it, i always return to it. it's got a serious feel to it, and i don't feel like me when i don't wear it. it's one that grows on you like crazy if you just give it a chance....
just too sweet. cutesy, great for taking along on a weekend, but too sweet for daily use - gets tiresome fast! and i've said this about another lollia (imagine) -- stings!!!
soft & girly -- coconut, lotus... really nice. i have the tiny bottle which is great for travel. my gripe is that it sort of stings. i dabbed a little behind my ears and got a drop on the inside of my elbow and it sort of burns... not what i look for in a fragrance i'm afraid!
fresh, clean, sophisticated, "green" smelling.
Lip Gloss -Hard Candy - Plumping Serum Volumizing Lip Gloss

Not sticky... does plump up w/ caspaicin (spell?) so it tingles a bit... pretty color but not heavily pigmented at all. slight glitter. choose the color you want, then get a shade or two darker as it's VERY sheer! not the longest lasting, unfortunately. would love spf added.
good stuff -- $6 well spent! really nice coverage, blends well and is not cakey at all. i think the great sized tube will last forever. helps more than most concealors on dark undereye area.
Styling Products -Pantene - Extra Liso Extra Straight Combing Creme
jennybee71 4/22/2011 1:00:00 AM
used this in conjunction w/ the shampoo & conditioner, and my hair is still extremely curly. the cream leaves my hair healthy & smooth, but did absolutely nothing to lessen the curl.
just like all the other pantene shampoos... no different, definitely did not contribute to straighter hair. my hair is as curly as ever, even w/ the extra straight conditioner & combing cream.
whole foods -- 6.99 -- i see the egyptian goddess / white musk notes -- this continues to grow on me as i wear it. i think the staying power is actually pretty decent -- the price can't be beat, and it's one of those "always appropriate" or "safe" perfumes that would be fine for work as well as a night out on the town. would definitely repurchase, as the size makes it so convenient to tote around. my young daughter loves it just as much as i do, and i believe it'd be great for a multitude of ages.
