Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Soothing Lip Balm
jennya25 12/29/2012 11:28:00 PM
I just found out it was discontinued too. I have never wanted to cry over a beauty product before, but I do now. I have been using this for years. It is the best lip balm ever created and there is no substitute. I am disconsolate. Please, please let them just be re-designing the container or something and bring it back soon! (pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease....!)

Lip Treatments -Too Faced - Lip Injection

I spent a long time deciding whether to buy this product or LipFusion. I sampled each at Sephora and decided to go with this b/c it seemed to plump more right away. (Also, it was cheaper, though, granted, it's a much smaller bottle.) I initially liked this. It did sting, but not unbearably, although, like everyone else, I had to make sure not to put this on beyond my lipline or I'd get some un-beautiful redness and swelling. Anyway, this SEEMED to make my average-sized lips a little fuller. I am not 100% sure if they really WERE fuller or maybe just FELT that way b/c they were stinging. But still, I was pretty sure they swelled up a bit when I put this on and felt hopeful that the effects might improve with repeated use. But then... After using this for over a week, I noticed I was getting clogged pores on the perimeter of and above my lipline. I don't mean zits, but actual hard pore clogs. It was gross. And since I had never had anything like that before in my life, I could tell right away what was causing it. It was really bad, eventually extending fron the perimeter of my lips further out on my face. I am still waiting for some of the bumps to clear out. I don't know what ingredient caused it, but this was a pretty serious beauty problem... :( So I went back to Sephora and, testament to Sephora's fabulous return policy, I was able to return the half-empty bottle without the original box it came in and, more surprisingly, without a receipt. So...next stop, either LipFusion or a return to City Lips...hmm...

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara
jennya25 3/23/2003 11:57:00 AM
This is the world's most perfect mascara! I realized that the moment I fist tried it, but sales and coupons convinced me to try other mascaras in the interim. Each new one I tried only convinced me, yet again, that Full~N~Soft is THE BEST. I have normal eyelashes that are thin at the tips. This mascara makes me look like I have the longest, fullest NATUAL lashes ever. It is so soft and when you add another coat, it builds beautifully -- not like other mascaras that clump and make a Tammy-Faye mess of your lashes. This formula is AMAZING. There's definitely something magical about it. It's the Holy Grail of mascaras.

Gels/Soaps -Bliss Labs - Enormalyptus Bar

This soap is so amazing, I could eat it. (Ok, so I might find it less amazing then...) It has the BEST scent, an invigorating, delicious eucalyptus scent. And it lathers - oh does it lather. This is a truly wonderful product. And who gets excited about a bar of soap? I never have before. But this is some amazing stuff.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Infusium Leave-In - Original

The only times I have ever received compliments on my hair are when I have used this product! I have long, fine, slightly wavy/frizzy hair. Infusium is light enough that it doesn't weigh my hair down. It gives it body and smoothes away all signs of frizz. Makes my hair soft and shiny. If you have hair like mine, you should definitely try this.
