Styling Products -Garnier - Sleek & Shine Anti Frizz Hairspray

I freaking love this stuff. Sometimes my hair doesn't cooperate with hairspray and it no matter what I do, the curls still fall, the flyaways still stick up, and the frizzyness keeps doin' it's own thing. Then, I experienced heaven. Let me tell you, this hairspray is so freaking light that at first I thought it was like a gimmick or something. It makes your hair shiny, it holds styles for hours, it is the most non-sticky hairspray I have ever used in my life, and it smells amazing. Seriously. Buy it.
I really like this blush. I have fair skin with pink undertones and it really gives me a healthy glow. With that being said, a little goes a longggg way- it's easy to make myself look like I have stage makeup on instead of natural everyday makeup. A also hate the packaging, the brush it comes with is useless and the skinny rectangular shape of the blush makes it kind of hard to put it on big fluffy makeup brushes. But, as for the product, it really is good. You can never go wrong with cheekers. It gives my skin a little bit of life. I'm excited to explore some of the other colors.
Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips in Peach Kiss

Overall, I wouldn't buy this product again, simply because the moisturization is very light and I find that I have to re apply it too often during the day. The color is nude with a little shimmer, but is really barely noticeable. It's not bad, not bad at all. Just a little too high maintenance for my likings.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

LOVE! after having a pretty terrrible experience with eos lipbalms, I decided to check out this lovely stuff. It is soooo moisturizing and creamy, I love it! It smells good, has a tiny bit of a tint but not too much, it seems like it lasts forever on my lips, and I love the fact that it has natural ingredients and is good for my lips! Definitely buying this again!
Mascara -Almay - One Coat Nourishing-Thickening Waterproof
jennarock11 11/25/2012 7:09:00 PM
I bought this because I thought "Hey, I'm going to buy myself a mascara that will give me gorgeous thich eyelashes and also is waterproof to hold a curl." So, I picked this up thinking that it would do the job. WRONG. This mascara clumps like none other, has a gloppy gloopy formula that somehow manages to get all over my eyelid before I am done applying, and also feels weird and greasy. Although, I must say, It just looks pretty. I don't know. I can't explain. Whatever. Don't buy this.
Blush -L'Oreal - True Match Superblendable Blush in Baby Blossom

This blush is a pretty color, light pink with slight shimmer. I don't think the shimmer is noticeable at all in indoor lighting, but one time I was outside with my friend on a sunny day and she asked me if I had sparkles on my face....but that's the only time anyone has commented on it. I appy with a light hand because sometimes it can almost appear too dark or red or something. It lasts a good amount of time and adds a pretty flush to my face. I like the soft finish, and I might buy again if I don't find anything within the same price range that is better.
I generally use this for under eye circles, being that it isn't quite opaque enough to cover acne scars, acne, and redness. Well, that's a lie. It does cover those things, but it doesn't last very well at all. I wouldn't use it for anything but under the eye. I really do like it for that, though. It doesn't crease, it blends very easily, and l really like the creamy texture. My dark circles are purpley blue and it doesn't cover them completely, but it definitely brightens them and makes me look awake. The brush applicator is useless in my opinion, but it doesn't really bother me. For the price, I will repurchase for dark circles.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Perfection Volumizing Mascara

This is a good mascara, one of the best drugstore mascaras I've seen. It adds volume and length in a few coats and the wand makes it easy to avoid clumps. I gave it four lippies because the formula was a little on the dry side which is something I'm not fond of. Also, it didn't hold a curl and it seemed that the mascara had worn down a lot by mid-day. Although, I must say that for special occasions, It actually is possibleto give the "false lash effect" with additional layers. The biggest down side for me was that it didn't hold a curl. But for the price, I think it's a good thing to have in my makeup bag.
Kind of not really sure about this foundation...I like it, I do. It has medium ish coverage and a very natural finish. It's not much of an acne solution, but that doesn't bother me. The person at the clinique counter gave me the foundation in #2 because she said it was the lightest, but apparently there is a #1, which would make sense. It matches me acceptably, but it's a little dark. It does have the right undertone, though (cool). Also, blending is a nightmare. I have to apply with my fingers because it seems that when I apply with a brush it always streaks. On the bright side, it is a good creamy formula, fine for sensitive skin, substantial for everyday needs. it really is a good foundation, but it's not the best. It won't keep me from wondering off to other and hopefully better products. Don't get me wrong, it's a good product, but it's nothing more than good.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup

Gooooood stuffff:) I've been on the hunt for a good drugstore foundation and luckily I gave this a try:) I thought I would need more coverage that this foundation had, but it turns out this stuff works like a charm! I bought it so that it would give my skina nice healthy glow instead of looking pale and dead ( I'm shade n1-2). It does make my skin luminous, but not too much. Itt's more of a dewy/natural look. The coverage is fairly light, but buildable. It blends like a dream and stays on forevverrr! Even throughout my workouts!!! I wouldnt buy this if you have oily skin. I have dry skin, but if I put on too much moisturizer before the foundation, by the end of the day im a shiny mess. Also, it improves your skin!! like, literally. I didn't even know it was advertised for evening skin tone, I just noticed that breakouts were going away and I didn't need so much foundation. Then I saw an add in a magazine that said it evens tone and gives a luminous look. Who even knew!! It really has improved my skin!! I'm totally into the whole antioxidant thing that this foundation supposidely has. It's the best drugstore foundation i've found so far!!! Will buy again:)
I love this stuff. It's amazing. Usually with leave in conditioners and different hair treatments, it takes a while to see improvement. You have to use it for at least a week before you see the results. With this, it's overnight. It made my hair soooo soft and tame and wonderful. I love it. (and btw, it smells amazing)
Never buy this stuff. I was actually thinking that it might be good because theres so much hype about it... I couldn't have been more wrong. This does nothing. It does not lengthen, it does not volumize, it does not curl. I acttually found that it made my lashes droopier than they are without curling them. My friend likes this stuff because she as asian lashes so the brush is easy to manouver. Basically it changed the color of my eyelashes. That's about it. Even if you want to get a healthy, no makeup look, don't use this. This is a downgrade from normal.
Moisturizers -Pro Activ - Pro Activ Spf 15 oil free moisturizer
jennarock11 8/30/2012 11:06:00 PM
I like it, but I could do better. To me, it's more of a light, sheer product. I put it on after I wash my face, then five minutes later my skin feels dry again...not cool. I have dry spots on my skin because of the acne treatments i'm using and it really doesn't do much to improve those spots at all. It gives my face temporary moisture. It would probably be great if my skin wasn't so dry, but it just doesn't do the job for me. Oh welll.
I love them. The shade selection is amazing and the product is high quality. They are moisturizing and smooth. They last all day. The colors are beautiful. Honestly, you just can't go wrong with a Revlon lip product. This is a purchase you won't regret.
Tinted Moisturizer -Mary Kay - Tinted Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 20
jennarock11 8/30/2012 10:56:00 PM
I wish I could love this. I wish it was my hg, but its not. It's far from it. So I have light skin. I tried the lightest shade that it comes in..talk about orange. People even commented on it. That's not cool. Plus, it does not blend at all. I don't know how someone would effectively go about putting this on, but I tried fingers, sponge, and brushes. this stuff is like a cheap self tanner, you put it on and it leaves streakes everywhere. If you have perfect skin, find your shade and i'm sure it will be just peachy. Other than that, don't buy it.
