i love love LOVE this perfume. i bought it on a whim at Kohls and bought a mini bottle for about $15. i put it on and kept sniffing my wrist the entire drive (only at red lights though.. im a safe driver i swear ) my boyfriend kept commenting on how great i smelled. usually perfumes give me headaches and smell so overpowering and fake but this smells clean and fresh and just fantastic. its a very summery scent and i just found out its unisex..i feel like its definitly more feminine and fresh. i dont get any hints of masculinity from it. i will keep repurchasing over and over.. new staple for me!!

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Erase Paste #2 Medium

this is HG status for me. i have very dark circles due to genetics (italian) and everyone in my family has them. no matter how much sleep i get or products i use, nothing fades or hides them. ive tried a gazillion concealers, none of which were able to make my circles blend in a natural, non cakey way. most of them creased because i tend to scrunch my face when i smile and this is the only thing i have found that doesnt crease. several others also did not blend with my skin tone and looked cakey and fake ( MAC im looking at you here) but this is flawless and looks very natural on me no matter what light im in. i left myself at the mercy of the salesgirl at Sephora (also named Jenn so i think it was fate) i was wary of it when the she picked it up and said she was going to use it on me. it looked like an unappealing pot of salmon colored foundation and i thought oh yeah that will look so natural but as soon as she applied it,i was obsessed. even without any type of powder to set it, it blended into my skin and looked like i was bright eyed and bushy tailed. the MA told me to first use a rich eye cream under the concealer so it glides on and doesnt cake up. the product is in pot form which im not wildly a fan of for sanitary reasons but it has a little scoopy spoon that comes with it that i clean after each use so its ok. she told me to pat the concealer on the inner corner of my eyes and then use a clean dry eyeshadow brush (i use sephora all over shadow #2 brush per her suggestion) to buff it around my undereye area. a little powder (i use MAC MSF in Light Medium) and i look well rested and my eyes are transformed. the price was kinda steep for concealer ($26) but theres alot of product in it and you only need a tiny bit so i think it will all even out in the end i pray that they never discontinue this because its HG for me for sure!!

i looooove this polish!! the application is streaky and it takes me about 3 coats to get the color that you see in the bottle and i love it!! its a pale baby pink and i cant stop staring at my nails when i wear it. i bought it at CB Sullivan and it was about $8 for the bottle.. i hope this is never discontinued because its HG for me!!

Treatments -Peter Thomas Roth - clinical peel and reveal dermal resurfacer

i bought this a few weeks ago at Sephora and im very impressed. at first i was a little leery because of the price ($58) for such a little tube but a little goes a long way. it smells amazing (pumpkin but not artificial... it smells good enough to eat!!) and the smell is in no way overpowering. the aluminum oxide scrubbers are small and dont feel scratchy on my skin. i leave it on for 15 minutes (i have a high tolerance for peels) then rinse off with a warm washcloth. my skin is soft and glowy.. not the least bit red or irritated. i use this after using my clarisonic and my skin has never looked brighter or better. i am a fan of PTR line of products and i would repurchase this again the sales woman said this is the same formula he used for a pumpkin enzyme peel/ mask except this has a micro polishing component. i never used the original pumpkin peel/ mask so i cant speak to whether it compares but i am definitly a fan of this product

Masks -Juice Beauty - Green Apple Peel

i love this peel... its strong enough to make my face look refreshed and glowy but doesnt burn my face off which i appreciate. it does turn me bright red so i use it before bed and after i rinse it off i apply my night cream and in 8 hours.. hello glowy flawless complexion!! this has worked miracles on my KP (chicken skin) on my upper arms. i apply this 3x a week to my face and at the same time apply it to my arms... the bumps have reduced about 90% and the redness has diminished by about 85% i couldnt be happier!! i dont like that it comes in a tub but i bought popsicle sticks at walmart for like $2 so use those to apply the mask... keep my fingers clean and keeps the tub germ free i will keep buying this over and over again

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
rated 4 of 5

i bought this to use with the Olay brush system and these two products really work for me. the cleanser has a nice smell that doesnt linger after i rinse it off and doesnt break me out. i love that theres a pump on the bottle because im ALWAYS dropping tubes of cleaners on the floor and blindly feeling around for them to avoid soap in the eyes... the pump has freed me from that experience. i dont find this to be drying at all and it does what i expected it to do.. nothing more nothing less. for a drugstore cleanser i did find it to be more expensive than other brands but im very happy with the product so i would buy again

Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

i have always been blessed with good skin but ever since i stopped tanning (real sun and in tanning beds) i have been more careful about my skincare. i was *this close* to buying a clarisonic brush but the price really put me off... everytime i went to buy it i would stare at the price tag and put it back. i bought this because for $30 i didnt have much to lose. after 1 week of using this product i am so glad i didnt bite the bullet and get the clarisonic. this brush is fantastic. it isnt to harsh or abrasive and gently cleanses my skin without striping it of its natural oils. this helps my vitamin c serum and night cream work better and my skin has never been smoother or more even toned. pro's- its quiet (nothing is more awkward than loud buzzing coming from your shower) - the price - its gentle enough for daily use - it only takes 2 AA batteries.. no charger to lug around on travel con's- the bottom piece that holds the batteries is a bastard to try to get open. i had to use a knife and ended up shooting the bottom piece across the room which the dog promptly thought was his new fun toy i will definitly be buying this again if i ever need to.

Treatments -Peter Thomas Roth - Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads
rated 5 of 5
jenn7985 1/18/2011 9:25:00 PM

i love this product!! i have been using it for a month and my skin has never looked better. i have never had a real issue with breakouts but it evened out my skintone and gives me this glow like i get a facial every day. i have not experienced any purging since using this. this has also done wonders for my KP (chicken skin) on my upper arms. on the suggestion of another review i swiped the pad over my arms after my face and within 2 weeks my KP has diminished 50%. it also got rid of alot of the redness so the little bumps that are still left are not as noticable. im hopeful that within another month or so the KP will be totally gone i leave it on for 10 min then wash my face with water and apply my night cream. my skin is soft and smooth and i dont need any face makeup anymore. i usually use MAC MSF Skinfinish to even out my skin tone and now i can go without it this is definitly HG for me and i will keep buying these for the rest of my life.

Brows -Milani - Brow Fix Brow Kit
rated 5 of 5
jenn7985 1/13/2011 7:21:00 PM

this is my HG brow powder. i have already used 3 of them and will keep using them forever. i use the "light" one and it matches perfectly. i find this powder gives a more natural look then most pencils (at least on me) the darker color is a tad too dark for me but works suprisingly well when i overpluck and need something to fill in the bare spots i comb brows with a clean mascara spool, use the angled brush that comes with it to apply the powder then comb again to blend everything the highlighter powder thats included works great for highlighting the inner eye. i use a little dab on my inner eyes and it makes me look bright eyed and awake i got it for around $5 at cvs

Styling Products -TRESemme - Fresh Start Dry Shampoo for Oily/Straight to Normal Hair
rated 1 of 5
jenn7985 11/6/2010 1:39:00 PM

this was the biggest waste of money i have ever encountered. i bought it because i thought it would be a good investment so i could work out daily without looking like a greaseball.... this junk make my hair stringy and made it feel even more oily.. it was awful... it smelled like bad hairspray and does not make my hair fresh and clean..i had to wash my hair 3x to get this crap out and even then it did not feel totally clean!!! i will not repurchase and would not donate it to my worst enemy

Eye Shadow -MAC - Shadowy Lady
rated 5 of 5
jenn7985 9/26/2010 11:39:00 AM

this is my new HG liner. it makes my green eyes pop without being too over the top or in your face. i love using this with a wash of Naked pigment on the lid, a light wash of Blondes Gold in the crease and Shadowy Lady as a liner.. very simple and stunning at the same time i love MAC shadow pots as i usually depot them and return the pots for a lipstick... recyle and look great.. what could be better the texture of this shadow is rich and buttery and its very pigmented so a little goes a long way i will def repurchase if i ever run out!!!

Eyes -MAC - Later Pigment - Alice + Olivia Collection 2010
rated 3 of 5
jenn7985 7/24/2010 6:41:00 AM

i bought this without seeing any swatches because it was online and it sold out 45 minutes after i put my order in so i had high hopes for this pigment when it arrived i was less then impressed. it seemed like a boring matte light blackish blue with some glitter... i can barely contain my excitement. i swatched it dry and was even less impressed. i was ready to send it back or put it up for swap when i decided to try it wet and boy am i glad i did. dry it was a boring easily dupable color that was hard to blend. wet it was this intense pigment that had a rich metallic purplely sheen to it and the glitter was visible but not too much the only way im using this is as a liner and possible to add depth to a smokey eye. it is a great color when wet and i am so glad i bought it the only reason i wouldnt buy it again is it will take me an eternity to use the whole jar if im only using it as a liner

Eye Shadow -MAC - Solar Bits Pigment in SUNPOWER
rated 2 of 5
jenn7985 6/11/2010 7:52:00 PM

i recieved this in a swap and so far i am not impressed. the pigment was big chunks/ balls of shimmer and glitter and even when i squashed them down i wasnt impressed with the pigmentation or application. it was chunky and glittery and overall a pain in the butt to spread and i was unable to blend it. the only way i am able to use this is with a little visine as a liner i was not impressed with the container either.. its awkward shape makes it hard to store as i use a spice rack for all my pigments i would not buy this again. there was nothing impressive about this pigment for me.

Polishes -OPI - Argenteeny Pinkini
rated 5 of 5
jenn7985 6/9/2010 7:22:00 AM

i love this polish. forst off the price was great.. my boyfriends mother has a card to CB Sullivan and get my OPI polishes for $3.50 so i cant complain about the price. the color is a pinkish-mauve with a touch of shimmer on my nails its a pink color with a tiny hint of bronze shimmer.. very neutral and very pretty.. i wear it on my fingers all the time and get complimented on it often. im glad i took a chance because in the bottle i wasnt overly impressed with the color but upon application i was hooked it isnt to pale for me but i have a spray tan at the moment.. i will see how i feel about it when im paler but i think i would still love it <3
