Cleansers -Boots - No 7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser
rated 4 of 5

I got this at Ulta on the clearance rack for about $7. It's too expensive in real life, otherwise I wouldn't try it. Anyway, I used the cloth once and realized that the product works great on its own as a cleanser. The pump is designed by a mastermind and ensures you use every drop. I've had it for over a year now and there's still a lot of product left.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Green Tea Scrub
rated 2 of 5

I wanted this to exfoliate my combo skin and prevent some zits here and there. Even when I use a dab, the product leaves behind the exfoliating powder (especially on the sides of my face, eyebrows, around nose). Applying make up or brow pencil after using this is not a bright idea.

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
rated 2 of 5

I tried this a few years ago and didn't like it. The idea of it made me want to try it again. Unfortunately, the ingredients are the same and the chapstick dried out my lips AGAIN. It's pretty expensive, smells good, tastes good, has a nice tint to it, but i'm literally throwing it out as I type this.

Blush -Cover Girl - Cheekers in Classic Pink

I'm very pale with green eyes and light blonde hair. This blush is perfect for my complexion. It smells good but the little brush it comes with is useless.

The pencil is HUGE and lasts forever. The cap has a brush on it, too. I have this in taupe and it's just...great.

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Fit Me
rated 4 of 5

After running out of Dream Matte Powder, I picked this up in the lightest shade. It works great, the package is easily transportable and the coverage is just right. I don't find it to be sparkly at all. I wear this to work, in open sunlight and fluorescent lights every day and it works fine.

This is adorable and smells delicious. Perfect. My inner 90's child couldn't help but compare it to Bonnebell lip frosting.

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner - Black
rated 4 of 5

The brush that comes with this product is perfect for a fast, easy cat eye. The product DOESN'T dry out if you have common sense and know how to close a lid properly. I wish it had a liiiitle more staying power but I can wear this for a few days without re-applying.

Lip Treatments -Blistex - Simple and Sensitive

This chapstick looks nice and shiny for about 20 minutes. Once it wears off, my lips are left dry and papery. I have very sensitive skin and thought this chapstick would work but it seems not. I'll stick to the Chapstick brand.

Eyeliner -Boots - No7 Amazing eyes pencil
rated 3 of 5

I just needed a classic black eye pencil when I saw this at Target. I loved the blending tool on the opposite end. I used this eyeliner in a swimming class for 4 months and it never faded, flaked or let me down. Overall, this is a great backup eyeliner if my gel runs out. It glides on nice and smooth.

Makeup Brushes -Essence - Gel Eyeliner Brush
rated 4 of 5
jenlauren 5/22/2012 1:20:00 PM

This brush was dirt cheap and didn't come with a bunch of random eyeshadow brushes. The bristles are nice, not soft but not harsh. I love applying my gel eye liner with this brush. My only complaint is the length of the brush is toooo loooong. I might cut it.

Lip Gloss -Essence - Stay With Me
rated 5 of 5
jenlauren 5/22/2012 1:18:00 PM

I bought this in Me & My Ice Cream (baby pink) because I was curious about a "long-lasting" lipgloss. Although the applicator is odd, kind of a peanut shape, it didn't make the application difficult. The consistency is great, not sticky, and the color is beautiful. As for the claim of long-lasting, I thought it lasted as long as any other gloss. For the price, color, cool applicator, and texture, this was a great buy and I want to try all of the other colors.

Bronzers -E.L.F. - Studio Golden Bronzer
rated 4 of 5
jenlauren 5/22/2012 12:45:00 AM

I loooove this bronzer. I use the two lighter shades to brighten under my eyes and the two darker shades on my cheeks. I also use all 4 shares as an all over bronzer, or the lightest as a highlighter on my browbone, inner corners of my eyes, etc. The packaging is standard and provides a mirror! It's cheap, cheap, cheap and has so many uses. I'd definitely buy this again!

Lips -Palladio - Lip Ink Extra Long Wearing Lip Stain
rated 2 of 5
jenlauren 5/22/2012 12:40:00 AM

This is my favorite lip stain. Covergirl's stains dry your lips to the point where you have trouble speaking. Palladio's lip stains have the common felt-tip marker applicator and the click top cap. As long as the cap is secured correctly, the product won't dry out. It applies evenly, without darker/lighter areas, and looks great under glosses. I'd buy it again!

Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Charm
rated 4 of 5
jenlauren 5/22/2012 12:37:00 AM

This reminded me of Clinique's Chubby Stick, so I had to try Revlon's version. Especially because it used "stain" and "balm" in the same title! Lip stain's are notorious for leaving you with dry lips. I tried this peachy/nude color and loved it instantly. It glides on easily, feels like a balm and is true to the color on the packaging (surprisingly). Even after the balm had slightly worn off, the color was still there! Not so much a stain, but better than a tinted lip balm. I'd buy this again if they made a nude color.
