Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey

i just purchased this polish the other day and put it on earlier today.. i love the color! it is perfect for this time of year -- definitely a great color for late fall and winter. before i put it on i read the reviews on here and felt slightly hesitant about the brush but decided to try it out anyway. i love the brush! i'm not sure if it's just the shape of my nails or something, but i was able to have way more control. i'm right handed so normally when i paint my right hand i have a lot of trouble and make a huge mess, but i didn't have that problem at all with this brush.
i couldn't believe how poor the reviews are on here for this product. i love this mascara - it is so buildable! it can clump up, but if you're careful and take your time when applying that is easily avoidable. the only thing i can say i dislike about it is i find myself reapplying this mascara but if i wear it throughout an entire day, i usually only have to do it once so its not too bad.
Bronzers -New York Color - Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny 720

i love that this is a cheap, good quality matte bronzer. i tend to use this for my every day look and upgrade to a higher quality bronzer like NARS laguna for going out at night. having this to wear for low-key every day looks is great. i can wear very natural make-up and still warm up my skin without looking crazy by having shimmery bronzer on. the packaging is complete crap, but for the price, you can't really argue.
i think this product is quite decent. i have pretty bad under eye circles and am constantly looking for the perfect concealer to disguise them. this is not exactly perfect, but the best i've found so far. i have this in sc-3. it's sort of dry and not as creamy as i would like it to be. i use the lighter, yellower color to try and correct the color under my eyes and then use the darker color sparingly on top to blend everything more towards my skin tone. i liked the packaging of this product until the little clamp that holds the top of the compact down broke.
i originally bought this product to use on my brows because it matched my hair color at the time PERFECTLY. my hair was red with brown tones and this shadow is brown with red tones - a match made in heaven. however, i have since dyed my hair black and no longer use this for my brows. i seem to incorporate it into 90% of the eye shadow looks i do, however. it is so great for warming up a neutral or brown eye. if this is not part of your mac e/s collection yet you should really consider making it one.
this product is very ehh. i'm a fan, but i'm not at the same time. i bought this to use as a highlight - i doubt i would every try to use it all over my face because i think it would definitely be too much. i don't find it to be very long lasting. it is also difficult to work with -- very hard and chalky. i have tried to use this with several different brushes and they all have a hard time picking up the product. i highly doubt i'll repurchase.
this is a really cute, simple colored blush. it is great for every day and can add just a slight flush to your face. it is also pretty buildable if you're looking for something more dramatic. the packaging is pretty cute, but crappy at the same time. granted i have had this product for a while, but the packaging is starting to fall apart. overall though, this is a decent product. i think i'm going to try "papa don't peach" next.
i had purchased this product some time ago because i am so in love with the rimmel lipsticks. i rarely wear red, but i purchased it anyway. this past weekend was halloween and my costume called for a red lip, so i used it. i cannot believe how long-lasting this lipstick is! i went through the entire night two nights in a row, reapplying only to brighten the color a bit. on the second night i even went out to eat after a party and the color was still there without bleeding or anything. you don't need to paint this product all over your lips to get good results -- a little goes a long way.
Primer/ Corrector -Too Faced - Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer

i had bought this product from ulta some time ago, used it, and loved it. i put it on my hand in the store to check it out and fell head over heels with how soft it made my skin feel. when i put it on my face it was even better. i can't remember how well it held up as a primer because i somehow (and i can't believe i did) forgot about this product after my tube ran out. i also don't have large pores so i can't say how "poreless" it really makes you look. after being reminded about this product, i am definitely going out to make a re-purchase soon.
at first i thought i liked this product -- until five minutes of wearing it. i really liked the idea of an immovable lip color so i put it on, tried rubbing it off and it went nowhere.. needless to say, i thought it was geat. on my drive to work i noticed it starting to crack and look blotchy and awful so as soon as i got to work i knew i had to take it off. however, it look several minutes of hardcore scrubbing to get this off my lips. it definitely won't come off on a coffee cup, but the consistency it becomes after a short time of wearing it is not attractive at all.
i am so in love with this product. i am a huge fan of nude lips and rarely stray from them, so i have a huge collection of both high-quality brand and drug store brand nude lipsticks and i have to say -- i haven't found a shade like this yet and it is perfect. it doesn't pale out your lips and make you look like a zombie. it warms them but keeps the color very low-key. i throw this on with a little bit of sheer nude lipgloss and i am good to go. i like to wear this with a simple neutral smokey eye during the day and darken up my eyes with it for night.
i love this bronzer! i tend to save it for special occasions or when going out because it really does a LOT to warm up and shape your face. it can be too much for every day so i usually use a matte bronzer for every day. it's not too sparkly or orange and it works amazingly with my skin tone.
