I like this scrub. Smells fresh and cleans my skin really well without drying it out at all.
Still looking for the perfect eye cream....this one just isn't it. It felt nice going on and absorbed nicely. Strangely, hours later it seems to really bother my eyes and cause stinging. Won't buy this again.
Moisturizers -Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 15

I really wanted to love this product - but it is just not moisturizing enough for me. After a few days of using this, you could see the dry skin on my face - almost everywhere. Maybe I'll go back and try it again in the summer when I need a lighter moisturizer.
Styling Products -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Hair Serum
jen1473 2/18/2008 11:24:00 PM
I really like this product. I don't wash my hair everyday - so I don't get a build-up or anything like other posters. I use it on wet hair before I blow-dry it. My hair always turns out smooth (unless it's time for a haircut - then nothing helps)!
This is the only baby wash I use. My kids' skin are all sensitive and this is perfect. I'll buy it again and again.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Baby Daily Moisture Lotion

This product is excellent. Way better than any Johnson & Johnson traditional lotion. I buy it for my kids again and again.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion with Cooling Menthol
jen1473 2/18/2008 11:10:00 PM
This felt nice going on but left my skin with a film or something...a tacky feel. I have never gotten that from any other moisturizer before so I'm thinking it's the Menthol? And - I don't think it moisturized all that well. I returned it to the store and got something different. I won't be buying this again.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types
jen1473 10/23/2007 9:02:00 AM
I didn't like this at all. When I opened it I thought it smelled and had the consistency of just regular old cold cream that my nana used to use. I gave it a good try - used it for about 2 weeks every day - but I ended up breaking out in little white heads around my nose, my lips and even on my cheek?? And - I started to get a dry spot on my forehead?? I have normal skin and don't usually break out from things - so I know my skin problems were from this cream. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me at all. Won't be buying this again.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)
jen1473 10/23/2007 8:57:00 AM
I got a kit that included this cleaner, Hope in a Jar and a few other things. This was nice, but I don't think anything out of the ordinary. I didn't end up liking Hope in a Jar - so I'm probably not going to be buying from that line again.
I like these things! I bought the combo pack and did it on my nose and chin - it got out alot of gunk! But - just read the review for the Ultra strength ones and I guess I'll try them. Definitely will repurchase!
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15

I love this lip balm. Smells divine and moisturizers really well. My lips feel soft and moisturized for a long time after using this - no need to reapply 20 times. Definitely expensive - but worth it.
Styling Products -Aveda - Brilliant Universal Styling Cream
jen1473 8/27/2007 1:12:00 PM
I've been using this product for years. It's on the expensive side if you are used to only buying drugstore products - but it lasts forever. I put in on my damp hair if I'm air drying. I have thick wavy hair and it really tames the frizzies. Also - I use it after the flatiron to smooth and add shine. Never makes the hair look greasy - just healthy. Love this product - will buy again and again.
Treatments (Eye) -Clarins - Sun Wrinkle Control Eye Contour Care SPF 30
jen1473 3/5/2007 8:37:00 PM
The reason I bought this was because of the SPF. I don't think it moisturizes all that well - so I put it on top of my regular moisturizer (only SPF15) and really liked it. My skin is pretty dry in the winter though - so in the summer I may not need to do that. It didn't sting or irritate my eyes at all - and that has happened with many other creams I've tried. I think that the SPF30 is super important due to the fact the area around the eyes is so delicate and thin. I'm going on vacation in a few weeks and will be in the sun for a few days - so the real test will be then. I'll update when I return if it didn't work out well!
Moisturizers -DDF - Daily Protective Moisturizer SPF 15
jen1473 3/5/2007 8:24:00 PM
I have been using this for about a week and really like it so far. I got a sample of DDF's Radiance something-something cream and LOVED it. Once I realized it was $100 I decided to try something less expensive. So - chose this one. It's a nice moisturizer but I really don't see any difference between this and the Neutrogena one I was using. I won't be buying this again because of that. Maybe I'll splurge and buy the more expensive one!
I received a sample of this and have already used it twice. Love what it does for my hair - but definitely hate the smell. Will definitely keep using until my sample is done and will buy this depending on price - despite the smell!
