Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Eyes Eye Shadow - Sunbaked Neutrals

I've been eyeing this product for months! I usually buy more expensive eyeshadows because I love the instant satisfaction great texture gives. BUT I didn't have any warm browns. This set has a beautiful copper and a bronze amid some awesome buttery matte browns. At first I thought the shimmers were chunky/gritty but then I worked it into the skin and it became a beautiful sheen. It worked extremely well with my fingers and the sponges. Basically if you can spend the time blending the product it will pay for itself. For the price, I paid $1 per gram and it is worth re-purchasing if your favorite color runs out. The size is also perfect to throw into a makeup bag.
Eye Shadow -Estee Lauder - Blue Dahlia Five Color Eyeshadw Palette

The colors are drop dead gorgeous. The "white" in here is actually very sheer with a blue/turquoise glitter. It's hard to keep it on the eyelids or have it brighten anything without it looking chalky. I would say its awesome to pat onto the blues included in this palette. I think the eyeshadows could have been a bit softer/more pigmented. The black in this palette is amazing but the blues really need a base. Estee has some GREAT eyeshadows but these are not their best. I was in lust with that navy blue color but its one of the least pigmented in the palette. It almost comes off as a chalky dry mess on the skin...and then you have to rub it in the get the pigments to spread. Not cool!
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm

I decided to get the lip balm because it has a harder and waxier texture over the minted rose balm. It stays on the lips more comfortably this way. This product has slightly different ingredients from the other lip balm. This one is formulated with mainly petrolatum and lanolin while the other is comprised of cotton seed oils. Depending on what you need you should choose the balm that is better suited to your lips (because I'm sure they both work very well, just differently). When my lips are cracked and peeling, I start to increase my fluid intake* and start using this religiously. My lips are back to normal in a day or two. The lanolin really helps to keep the moisture from being zapped by the colder air during these months. Note, this is scented heavily. *Chapped dry lips are a sign of dehydration as well as exposure to the environment
Awesome light-medium coverage foundation that looks natural. I have the color Fiji but I have tried my friends' colors in a shade lighter and darker than Fiji and they have all worked when I was in a crunch. BUT unfortunately it has bad flashback for anyone that isn't super pale. Many youtubers comment on how great it is for photoshoots but I believe they are either fairly pale or not using harsh flashes. Any photographer can light the situation better and make the product shine...BUT for the average straight picture with a direct flash it looks awful. Keep it for daytime
Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara

I am pleasantly surprised at what this could do for my asian eyelashes. At first the brush and initial application are very unassuming but it builds beautifully and stays soft long after drying. I don't expect much from drugstore mascaras and I just like to buy whichever is the newest one but I'm def getting a few backups of this. The wand is curved with short plastic bristles. This has been super helpful for my small eyes and reaching my smaller lashes or packing on the product.
Primer/ Corrector -Korres - Silicone-Free Face Primer
jellyjelly 12/7/2012 1:32:00 AM
Awesome primer by Korres that is surprisingly free of silicone. The texture it leaves would make you believe otherwise. The scent was a NICE surprise. I usually do not use fragrant products but I do enjoy this. I have very normal to dry skin so a primer isn't a must for me but I like to use it under mineral foundations. I hope they make a version with SPF in it for the day. The packaging is eh.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

One of the best drugstore palettes available (and also the cheapest!). I really love this palette and find EVERY color to be pigmented and great. At first I wasn't a fan of the right half of the palette but I just didn't use it the right way and never got under that initial layer of the pan. This is my 2nd repurchase and I have found the eyeshadows get creamier the deeper you get. This is not a 5 start palette because the dark brown color has broken in both of my palettes. So I have 2 half used palettes with no dark brown color. The dark brown color by itself is very dangerous to use...I would barely touch it with my brush and it would shift around the entire pan--so soft. Maybe too soft.
This has great coverage for me. I wear mineral foundation and try to keep it very light because of my sensitive skin. I believe in Boscia's line and decided to get this. It comes in an underwhelming package...just a packaged screw off top. The Dr. Jart stuff in the store came in an air packaged pump tube with higher SPF! This stuff works really well and now I feel naked without it! It's not very moisturizing though. My face feels tight after I use it...so I've been mixing it with some lotion...or dabbing on lotion in places I need it and using this over it.
This foundation works wonders!! You should really spray it into a flat top blush brush and buff it in circles. Your imperfections disappear and its a light coat. It feels amazing to put on as well. Its quite a treat because the consistancy is light/"airy" and has great coverage. I would recommend this to all my friends except for the price tag!
The product is nice and dark and I am able to re coat lot before it dries (then you cannot re apply). The wand itself helps with the curl and coating each lash...then I flip it over to "push" more product into areas I want. I think this concept works better than the ball-tip because you don't get an overload of product on one end which will only clump. The curl usually doesn't stay though.
