Smells like viva la juicy except less caramel and tad more fruity scent. I bought it for a good price at tjmaxx. The smell last a decent amount of time and the packaging is quite adorable.. So if you like viva la juicy I guarantee you will love this too!!!!
i feel like i underestimated this lipstick. i thought it would be an unwearable shade of pink, because i have med tan skin. its actually quite nice. on my lips, its a medium-light pink that doesnt lean too cool or warm, not too bright or nude. its suprisingly very wearable, but like most lipsticks, it's important to wear moisturizing lip balm. i dont see how its a frost, maybe bc there are tiny tiny tiny shimmers, that i barely notice. im really happy i purchased this and would again!!
Liquid -Giorgio Armani - Lasting Silk UV Foundation SPF20

i bought this a few months ago. i have oily acne prone skin, i am an nc30-35 and i purchased #6 in this foundation...the color match was pretty good just a tad too light in the winter time. it has light to medium coverage and first thing i noticed was how silky and light it felt on my skin, has a semi-matte finish, and indeed is a luxurious product.it blends so easily so using your fingers isnt a problem. for a while i couldnt think of what the scent of this foundation reminded me of..but now i know!!! it smells just like cetaphils cleanser for normal to oily skin...i actually like the scent. even though it claims to be long lasting, it doesnt really last on my face, even if i set with powder..maybe 5 hours tops in ac environment, but once my face feels heat and humidity, it's like im not even wearing foundation by the time i go home.. i think this would be lovely for normal, and combo dry skin which is why im not lowering the rating(id wanted to rate it 3.5). this foundation just isnt for my skin. it retails for $59, but i got it when their website was offering 20% off
ive been meaning to purchase humid, but when i was lucky enough to find this in cco (its in the green packaging collection w/starfish &seahorse?)..anyways i thought urban decay's mildew was a dupe but im wrong.. humid is a bit deeper and a less goldeny and i love it..its soft, pigmented and a great alternative to a brown smokey eye..one of the ways i like to use it is, apply mac's Mystical all over the lid and a little above the crease, then take humid and pack it on the lid and apply lower lash line...i used macs keep it cool( brun or any dark shadow would suffice) and blended the upper crease out with macs quarry...i know it sounds strange but i got compliments and its not gaudy lookin at all..woohoo for humid
Styling Products -Got 2 Be - POWDER'ful Volumizing Styling Powder

i bought this because of the great reviews as well and while it does provide volume, it was quite sticky and my hair got tangly. i even tried it on my mom, who has really fine hair and she said she'd rather have flat hair as oppose to having this product on her head. i think this may be great for those with shoulder or shorter length hair. got mine at rite aid for $6 and came with a free mini hairspray buy i will never purchase again.
mac must not like me shopping there. i bought this for $34.00 plus tax and I was so excited. However when I used it, I noticed 3 hairs were left on my cheek. I was being gentle. I even pre-washed it with brush cleanser and used baby soap to clean it. It still sheds and not as soft as I thought it would be. ugh.. once again I had high expectations from this brand and was let down. the size is perfect for applying it on the apples of my cheek and using it to apply highlighter as well, but the hairs are semi-soft, can be scratchy at times, sheds excessively, and expensive luckily my 109 is soft (138 is even softer and high quality) and so far hasnt suffered from balding syndrome I returned it because im scared if i continued to use this for the next year, it'd be bald and im left with a thick chopstick.
it translate into a matte light beige skintone shadow on the lids. however, it is not pigmented at all. i had to scrape and or put on few layers in order for the color. i tried it on nc 42, nc30, and nc 20-25 skintone and looks lovely for a clean polished look, but i cant justify paying $11 + for a shadow i have to work with. wet n wilds brulee is an exact dupe($2.99 and often have 40% off at rite aid) is way more pigmented and soft. considering the great reviews here, i may have gotten a bad pot. if i have to pay a lot of money for makeup, i expect great quality regardless
Pressed Powders -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder (ALL)
jellibellyz 3/14/2012 2:48:00 AM
im always looking for a powder to control my oily face. i brought it in translucent. the colored powders didn't match me at all. if you put too much, you can tell im wearing powder and worst of all, it only controlled my oily face for about an hour and then my dang oilies were breaking through the powder. darn. i tried using a big powder brush, flat, tapered brush, sponge, and puff and i believe the product doesn't work for my face. if you have slightly oily skin, then it might work for you. it has no fragrance either. drugstore powders dont really help control my oily face, besides coty airspun(i just have to be careful bc it can get overly powderly and has a scent that might throw some people off)
i am around an nc 30-35 and was looking to buy another bronzer. so i actually looked at reviews on sephora and BB's bronzer had good reviews and decided to try it. it applies smoothly, it's pigmented, matte and gave me a wonderful contoured look...at home, but when i looked in my car mirror, i literally scared myself because this bronzer looked red!!! i read in one of bobbi brown's book that for a bronzer, it needs a little red or orange mixed with matte brown to have a believable tan, but i guess with my undertone it looks fake under natural light. it does last me most of the day and the packaging is sleek, sturdy, and has a mirror, but because it pulls so red on me, i gave it 3 stars. works great on others, but not me.=(..i exchanged it with nars casino and im much happier with that.
i am a nc 30-33. i use mac's face and body in #3 and use mufe in #32 beige(w/pump). i love this product. if i didnt have oily acne prone skin, I'd love it even more, however, I do have to set with powder(mufe loose matte powder in sand) or it'd take me about 5 blotting sheets after 3 hours to reduce shine. At most I get, medium coverage using 3 light layers with my mac 188 brush. This will ever so slightly cover my dark spots, but this will even out skin tone, gets rid of redness, and gives you a look of healthy skin(esp if you have normal/combo skin). I can't get over the fact it looks incredibly natural. It has a weird gelatinous texture with a a scent that reminds me of a non-chemically lemon pinesol (offputting description I know), but it's not as bad as Mac's Studio Fix Liquid or Revlon Colorstay. Usually I use mufe face and body and use mufe full coverage concealer #6 or 7,cant remember the number, for that perfect non-cakey look
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Lineur Intense liquid liner - brush tip
jellibellyz 1/13/2012 4:57:00 AM
i actuallly bought this at safeway for $4...and i actually love it!! it is a short brush tip w/ a significantly long wand..so if you are a beginner, i suggest you purchase a liquid liner with a felt tip, since it is more easy to control. however i would say im pretty good at putting on my eyeliner. there is a lot of product in this, compared to other drugstore liners available. it goes on so smooth, black, and it doesnt fade or flake. i will purchase again
i love this perfume!!!! when i wear it, it makes me feel happy and does not smell like an old lady scent to me at all! it last for the whole day and this scent just makes me feel relaxed and i could fall asleep to this, however it is pricey!!!! $98 for 3.4oz bottle and the notes are: Mandarin, Champaca Flowers, Ivy, African Orchid, Rose, Violet, Damascus Plum, Amaranth Wood, Blackberry Musk its a soft, floral, fruity scent, but not candy-smelling. i love it
i liked it until my friend said it reminded her of axe chocolate deodorant her dad use to use!!!!! ugh..i prefer viva la juicy, its more feminine to me
i have had this 1.5flat iron for the past 5 years and it works as if i just bought it yesterday. i have super thick thick thick hair and it makes my wavy puffy frizzy hair nice, smooth, and silky. i only have to go over it once and last until i wash it. =) if you dont want to shell out moolah for that another good alternatice is infrared croc or infrashine. all awesome irons. i wont repurchase again because i dont think i have too!! woohoo
let me start off by saying wanted to love this mascara soo bad.. this was actually my 2nd time purchasing this. i have read so many good reviews and i figured i was applying my mascara wrong when i first purchassed this a few years ago..but honestly it doest really do anything, just natural lookin lashes, but it did leave my eyelashes soft compared to all the other mascaras ive tried. no volume and very little length, i tried building it up but this was a fail for me unfortunately. =(
