I really really really like this body moisturizer. I don't know if it has the benefits that the Oxygen face cream has but I am really enjoying the smell. It smells a little like the Oxygen face cream if you have ever purchased it (just a little). It has great moisturization properties and it lasts all day long. The scent: airy, clean and non-cloying. It melts brilliantly with other fragrances without being obtrusive to your current buys. I will buy again when I have the money.

So far so good. I really don't understand the mixed emotions on this fragrance. I guess when the vote is so mixed like this it is best to just try it out for yourself. I am so glad I did. I read so many reviews of people who say that they forgot they had something and tried it again and tah dah! Well, this is exactly what happened to me. Purchased Carnal Flower by FM from Barney's about two years ago. Forgot about the samples that she gave me because I was so excited about the CF. So anyway, found it in my makeup bag last night and decided to try it out today. I have just been loving this scent all day. This one note is just taking me away into my own little world. It is for those who do not really enjoy heavy smelling perfumes but just want to still smell their own skin. I asked several people if they could smell my fragrance today and they said yeah it smells like you. Could it be? I have finally found one of my signature fragrances?? It just sits so perfectly in the crests of my skin. I love that the dry down is almost exactly as the first spray. Sillage is amazing for me. Will update if this changes but right now - I loves it. Bought the bottle today and now my credit card company loves it. grrrr Oh yeah other faves this year Carnal Flower Bal D'Afrique Philosophy Pure Grace Fresh Lemon

Deodorants -L'Occitane - Purifying Roll-On Deodorant

I have been using this for about three weeks now and this really is the best deodarant out there. I have tried everything from Secret to Fresh roll-on and nothing would hold me until the end of the day. Like the other reviewer said it does leak if you need to take it out of town so you may want to carry a cheap one on vacation until you get back.

Eye Shadow -Cle de Peau - cle de peau eye shadws

I purchased #9 and I am really enjoying this. The colors are a gold metallic, a banana color as the highlighter, a pretty bronze brown that I use as the lid color and an eggplant that I use in the crease. It is velvety and it looks like second skin on. Cle de peau has beautiful eyeshadow. It is better than Chanel to me.

Fragrances -Le Labo - Ambrette 9

I guess I will be the first one to say that I enjoy Ambrette 9. I absolutely love the way it smells on me. I am all about fresh and clean fragrances. Not really poetic with all of the different scents that it gives off but it is really clean. Some other faves of mine are: Child Carnal Flower Jo Malone (too many to name) Kai - except it breaks me out Clean (Ultimate Clean) but it doesn't last long on me

Masks -Dr Sebagh - deep exfoliating mask

I have been needing an exfoliating mask for some time. My skin acne-prone with a little oiliness in the t-zone. I received this as a sample from Barney's New York. I tried it one time and noticed that it tingled a bit upon application. It was a little uncomfortable but when I removed it, my skin glowed like a light bulb. It looked so healthy. It didn't stop there, the next day it was just as beautiful as the night before. The key ingredient Azelaic acid is a saturated dicarboxylic acid found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley. It is a natural substance that is produced by Malassezia furfur (also known as Pityrosporum ovale), a yeast that lives on normal skin. It is effective against a number of skin conditions, such as mild to moderate acne, when applied topically in a cream formulation of 20%. Azelaic acid may be useful as a hair growth stimulant.[citation needed] I like it

Eyeliner -Serge Lutens - Eye Kohl Liner

So I never thought that there would be an eyeliner that would work so well and be so striking. I purchased this at Barney's and when the SA put this on me - I was very pleased and he said once it is on it isn't going anywhere. He was right. It is very pretty and sharp looking. I don't like the fact though that it doesn't work very well with contacts. It smeared all over them and I had to throw them away. So how do I combat beautiful eyeliner and contacts? I just called my Optho doctor and ordered one-a-days so that I don't have to worry about the junk on my contacts - just throw them away at the end of the day. So back to Barneys'...what was really funny about this is when I got to the register I was like okay this will be about 30.00.....OUCH. NOPE way off. This cost me 81.19 tax included :) I like it though. I didn't expect it to be so much but it is well worth the money. It will last you about a year. The color stays true all day (strong black and the reviewer below was right you can do so much with this eyeliner) - no smudge and no irritation. Totally recommend this.

Fragrances -Frederic Malle - Carnal Flower

So I have been wearing Carnal Flower for about three weeks now. I cannot explain the way it smell. I love parfums that have a sense of originality without all of the sneezing and without smelling like someone else. It sounds off bursts of freshness and then the bottom notes are of flowers. I don't know I am rambling. Some other faves of mine are Kai, Child, Orange Blossom by JM. I wore it one time to church and everytime I hugged someone they were like what is that you are wearing. I don't wear it for compliments but there is a vibrance it brings to the atmosphere. It brings life and not in that Clinique Happy kind of way. RAVES

Fragrances -Kai - Kai

I really wanted to like this fragrance but for some reason when I wear this I break out all over my body (mostly the chest area). It does smell pretty blah by itself but I find that when I mix it - it is pretty good. It smells so comforting and pretty - also when I mix it with other fragrances, oils, etc. I wonder if I could come up with my own scent with the ones that I mix together. It is very pretty. I do wear the body glow now since the oil(fragrance) breaks me out. Try mixing your Kai with other fragrances that are in the same family (gardenia, crisp, orange, etc) UPDATE: After using this for about 6 months - I am noticing fine little bumps appearing where I apply (the bottom of the bottle says that irritation can occur). I really like the smell but it isn't worth the itchiness that I get.

Masks -Sisley - Botanical Facial Mask With Tropical Resins

This mask is wonderful for acne. I use this once a week and voila no acne. I have been using this one for two years now and my skin always looks clean and clear the next day after sleeping. It is on the expensive side but if you have tried other products and not seeing results try this one. I don't know how well it works if you have a terrible case of acne but I think it will do great for those who have mild to moderate acne. Edit: I have come to realize that this is really not working for me. I need a more permanent fix. Not just a temporary one. You put it on one day and the pimple is gone the next and when you go back to sleep the next night, it is back again. geesh

Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

So I like this mascara - I think that for the money it produces pretty good results. It really does lengthen my lashes. I haven't found anything else that does this. I have noticed a couple of my eyelashes hitting the ground here lately. I really hope it is not from this. My only gripe is that it doesn't last long. I get tons of compliments on my lashes - people say they look fake. I do love the fact that they don't look clumpy or 60ish. They just lengthen and put a little curl on the end. It gives a really clean and finished look to you.

Fragrances -Clean - Clean Ultimate

I have enjoyed this fragrance so far. I have received compliments on it at work. I don't like fragrances that are cloying and tend to change throughout the day. I find that this one stays true - now it does fade as the days goes on but at least it is fading and not turning into some monster fragrance like so many of them do. There is some sort of a freeness I have when I wear this. PROS: Fresh, Clean, and Rejuvenating CONS: Expensive and doesn't last that long on the skin

Mascara -Shu Uemura - Precise Volume Mascara Waterproof

This mascara is probably the best one thus far that I have ever purchased - wellllll - okay next to Darphin. I love the way it catches every eyelash and makes them look just purrty. What I don't like about it is the waterproof - I like the brush of the mascara and the texture but it feels so unhealthy on the eyes (I mean the waterproof aspect of it). I recently purchased the lash repair will see if this helps. Shu doesn't have a mascara that does the same thing as this one. The Basic Mascara is just no good to me. If you have short eyelashes or ones that tend to break - do not buy this unless you get a base with them. I don't wear this everyday because I know that it will cause my lashes to come out but they sure are lovely lashes when I have this mascara on. UPDATE: I used this one and it did make my eyelashes pretty but I noticed that they were getting thinner. I have stopped using this because it is really drying to the lashes. I am pretty sure that I can find a better mascara out there. If you have thin lashes or brittle - you have been warned. My eyelashes have been better too since I have stopped using this one.

Loose Powders -Yves Saint Laurent - Poudre Sur Mesure

What can I say? I do like this powder very much. It actually looks like it would be too light for me but when I put it on it is very pretty. Looks like you don't have anything on but still provides coverage. I bought this in chocolate #5 and I have really enjoyed this thus far. It is like a pressed powder that is crushed into a loose powder. It is not messy and provides a luminous look. It doesn't leave a cast on the skin - it just melts right in :) Good stuff - try it! UPDATAE: This is still the best powder in the market IMO. I have really enjoyed the look that it gives and the feel of it. I really really recommend this way over everything else - really. Your face will look totally different.

Pressed Powders -Stila - Sheer Pressed Powder

I purchased this in the mocha and I am really enjoying this. I love the natural look that this gives. I am so proud of Stila for coming out with colors that compliment dark skin. It is really good at covering the oilies :) The puff is cheap but I purchased the powder brush and it enhances the makeup so much(very natural) edit: I had to change my lippies on this product - I noticed that it started to leave a chalky cast on my face. It is definitely for the ones with oily skin - if you have normal to dry this will be too drying on the skin.
