Cleansers -Dermalogica - PreCleanse

This is the only skincare product I have fallen in love with and use religiously. I have fairly sensitive skin, so it doesn't irritate it, but helps it. The makeup removal capabilities of this oil is amazing, the ONLY thing that works to get it all off!! The smell is perfect, not too much or overwhelming at all. The packaging as others have said could be improved upon as I always have a small bit at the base of the bottle on my counter. I will never ever ever ever (I can't say that enough!) stop buying this!!!

Styling Products -Clairol - Tousle Me Softly Mousse
rated 4 of 5

I enjoyed this for my very curly hair. It gave me a decent amount of volume (I love some big Texas hair) and held my curls all day. I also use this often when I blow out my hair..mainly because it still gives me good volume, better than some mousse, but pretty comparable to others as well.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Eyeshadow Duo - Full Frontal
rated 5 of 5

LOVE THIS. Perfect colors for my olive-y skin. I've been using this almost everyday of the week, because the gold and bronzey-plum-brown (I know that's a big combo) go so well together. I usually apply the gold all over my lid and the darker shade in the crease and blend UP, then hit my brow bone with a highlight.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
rated 2 of 5
jeannamv 3/5/2012 10:26:00 PM

This made my eyes sad. I bought it on a whim (or because the MAC artist swindled me) and wish I stuck with UDPP. While my eyelids can tend to be oily, this was a pain to put on evenly and easily. It's pretty dry and difficult to spread. I used to use Bare Study which went on much nicer, but that has been too shimmery lately. I don't mind the price as I would have used this everyday...but I won't. :"( Time to go return!

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Cocoa Puff & Honey Pot
rated 5 of 5

I love this duo. It's my go-to when I can't figure out what to put on and always looks amazing. The color payoff is perfect and they go together better than any brown/gold duos/sets I've had before.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Beauty Marked
rated 2 of 5
jeannamv 2/13/2012 9:27:00 PM

I'm so disappointed in this shadow. I just bought it the other day and it looked gorgeous in the pan and swatched. When I tried to apply it it became muddy and more black. It reminds me very much of how the colors in the UD Black Palette came out when applied. I'm going to attempt a return w/out receipt & box tomorrow :( :(.

Powder -Laura Mercier - Mineral Powder SPF 15

Yikes! Made me break out something serious! I have an almost immediate reaction to skin products and the day after using this my skin was/is sad. Not to mention I think the girl at Sephora gave me a wee bit too light of a color. :(

Palettes -Urban Decay - 15 year anniversary palette
rated 3 of 5
jeannamv 8/18/2011 8:59:00 PM

Like someone said earlier, the neutrals are somewhat similar to those of the Naked Palette, though with more shimmer/glitter. I do still love how easily they go on...all of them. They are super pigmented and creamy, no need to layer to get the color payoff except maybe with the pink color. The packaging - hate it. It's pretty but I'm weird about being able to see finger prints on things. It's super bulky and the drawer is stupid. It's sort of a pain to open with your fingers alone and if you do you run the risk of chipping a shadow. All in all, I wouldn't buy it again due to the reasons above, but I'm glad I did. ***Update Trying to swap this, I've found myself not using more shimmery colors lately and that's all this palette offers :(

smog is definitely one of my favorite shadows. But like mar559 below this review said, I also feel that smog is slightly different in the ammo palette than the naked...i also prefer smog from the ammo palette. goes ready well with golds amd ay least for me, some greens as well. If iever run out of this, I wi ll certainly repurchase!!

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Wallflower Lip Gunk
rated 4 of 5
jeannamv 4/17/2011 10:14:00 PM

I got this as a sample at Ulta and love it! I gave it an overall of four mainly due to the fact that I'm just starting to use glosses...the sticky-ness was a bit too much for me before. Surprisingly, Lip Junkie isn't as tacky as others I have tried and Wallflower is a nice muted mauve/pinky color. The smell/taste isn't an issue for me and I had no idea it was labeled as a "lip plumper." Whether it actually works or not I don't care, I will definitely repurchase when my sample runs out.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - Ransom 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
rated 5 of 5
jeannamv 4/11/2011 9:23:00 PM

Okay, I absolutely hated the 24/7 pencils awhile back when I first tried them. I have to idea what made me come to that conclusion. Obviously, now I love them, they stay on very well, the colors are awesome and never have a I found a liner that goes on so easily (okay maybe Prestige but they lack in color where UD owns)! Ransom is a very pretty true purple that is bright, so if you're looking for something less noticeable go for the Rockstar, it's more like a raisin purple.

Polishes -OPI - Designer Series - DS Mystery
rated 5 of 5
jeannamv 3/27/2011 9:28:00 PM

You will definitely need two coats for the effect but this polish is awesome..I only really like wearing dark colors on my nails. I've never purchased any of the DS series but from now on I think I may have to. Like others have stated it does look black indoors, but you are able to see the gold and pink flecks. Outside there is a nice touch of purple to the color. Pricey for polish, but I would buy again...

Lip Gloss -MAC - Buzz Lipgloss (Naked Honey Collection)
rated 5 of 5
jeannamv 3/27/2011 9:23:00 PM

Love this bronze/plum sparkly color...for me it works well because my lips are pretty dark so it's not a severe color change like the other reviewers are having. Only reason I wouldn't buy this again is because I like trying new things!

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre Lipstick - Pretty Please
rated 3 of 5
jeannamv 3/7/2011 8:00:00 PM

So, I wouldn't buy this again, but it does the job okay. I just like to try to new things...often. It's a nice way for me to tone down my lip color which, I think, is pretty dark for my skin. It is a little frosty, but I don't think it's terribly sparkly, or unnatural. I'd compare it too Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Champagne, again though, with less sparkle.
