I was looking for a deep peach blush and thought this blush combo in NECTAR looked great in the package. The matte sculpting powder looked great too. It is not. Even with my finger trying to swatch very heavily, very little powder came of at all. A total waste and I am returning it today.

Mascara -Just for Redheads - Naturelle Mascara

My lashes and brows are naturally white. Most of my life I have been able to purchase brown mascara at drugstores, but now at 46 and given that brown mascara is almost impossible to find , I purchased three tubes of mascara from Just For Redheads in Ginger Cocoa, Ginger Auburn and the waterproof Spice Supreme. I love them, and have experienced NO smudging or smearing. My only complaint about the Spice Supreme is that the squeegy thing that removes the excess product when you take out the wand is not small enough, so way too much mascara is left on the wand which must be wiped off on a tissue wasting a lot of product.

CD/Books/Movies -Unlisted Brand - Makeup Makeovers by Robert Jones

Robert Jones books are great, but you only need one. I first bought MAKEU P MAKEOVERS, BEAUTY BIBLE and loved it so much I went online and bought all of Robert's other books. Big Mistake. Except for a wedding section, and slight variations in photos, they are all the same! Really, it is astonishing. But...you should own ONE because he is very talented and all his tips and looks are completely wearable for real women. I have a NARS book that is pretty, but basically useless for real wear. So I do love this book, but the recycling of content from 2002 in annoying.

Eyeliner -Paula Dorf - Eye and Lip enhancer - baby eyes

I love the color and concept of this product, but the formula seems very "Old School." Like back when you had to soften up the wax in a pencil with a lighter. Modern pencils are so creamy and longlasting, this pencil was waxy and hard. I'll find another brand.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - half moon

I loved this brush so much, I went and bought another kit the next day for backup. If you are tempted by the NARS Ito Kabuki, get the ecotools halfmoon first. It is so wonderfully soft, and glides under eyes, around the nose perfectly. It's narrow edge is great for contouring. It was $4.00. Run and get one. I am happy with all my ecotool brushes and reach for them before a lot of my HE ones.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Indianwood

This is a blue eyed girl's best friend. So easy to make my eyes stand out. Just a quick wash with Indianwood on my lids, some mascara and on my lazy days, that's it! It is so gorgeous, like a burnished dark gold. Not frosty, not glittery, but light reflective and pearly. One of my must have products!

This is a little underwhelming. I am fair, (Fiji in Sheer Glow) and this lipstick is darn near clear. It leaves a sheer, no-color pearly finish that is nice, but not worth the price. Wet n' Wild Perfect Pair Lip Wand in Nearly Nude is not a bad dupe.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Length

I have this in both brown and black. My lashes are very pale, (I'm a redhead with white lashes and brows) Cover Girl makes the nicest brown mascaras. I have tried mascaras for redheads and auburn colored ones, but they look odd and I don't like having red color next to my eyes. It makes them look irritated. I sometimes wear black mascara on my top lashes for drama, but even then, I always wear brown on my bottom lashes. The thin brush and formula of this mascara does everything I need. Never any flaking or clumping, just long dark lashes! Perfect!

I got this at my CCO and maybe I got a bad batch. The color seemed nice in the pot, but it won't load on my brush! I can't swatch any off on my finger either. I scraped the top with a knife to loosen the top layer, but even that didn't help. It also seems like the pan is barely filled. Waste of money and easily duped.

Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

I liked this powder very much until I saw that unfortunate photo of Nicole Kidman wearing it for flash pictures. Then Wayne Goss did a demo of what happens when you use this with a flash and I immediately put a big sticker on the lid warning how terrible it is for photos. With everyone having cameras on their phones, the chances of being flash photographed are very great! It is not worth the risk. Yes, it is a nice powder, but not irreplacable. Watch Wayne's Youtube video and check it out for yourselves!

Lipstick -Revlon - Superlustrous Lipstick - Demure (LE)

As a fair, freckled, strawberry blonde, beige nudes are difficult for me to wear. This is nude like, but with a light pinky peach base that is just perfect for me. Like another reviewer, I also have MAC Shy girl and prefer Demure. If this is limited edition, I must go out quick and buy back-ups!

Eye Shadow -Inglot - Freedom System Palette

I am surprised when people dislike the palettes. I love them. Very sturdy and I have no trouble with the magnetic lid. Now the shadows...awesome! Picking the colors is fun, and they are such great eyeshadows. Wonderful value too.

Bronzers -NARS - Laguna

Lovely bronzer. Don't be afraid if it looks shimmery in the pan, on the skin it just glows beautifully. I am fair and must be careful not to go too dark, but this is just gorgeous. Sometimes I skip blush because my cheeks tend to be a little too ruddy, but a bit of Laguna is perfect. A HE product that lives up to its reputation and is worth the splurge.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Kitten

I bought this online because it was such a cult shadow. I hated it and can't figure out why so many people love it. It is just pure glitter. It didn't even apply well. It rolled around in blobs and was hard to smooth out. I think this is only for the very young. Totally overrated.
