Best eyeliner ever! so easy to apply - glides on very smoothly without skipping and sets to wear all day. Love it! I have teal (very pretty summer shade) espresso and charcoal!

Eye Shadow -Almay - Intense i-Color Eye Shadow smoky-i for browns

This is not your traditional smoky-i look. It's a more like a soft, smoky eye look. If you are looking for a more traditional smoky eye look, try the Trio for Hazels which has charcoal, grey and silver shades. I liked this brown palette for a soft smoky eye look for brown eyes. The texture of the formula is very velvety and smooth. I don't have any complaints at the moment but will re post if I do. Just bought this at Target with a free eyeliner last week! Great deal!

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Smoky ShadowBlast

This is like putting lipstick on your lids. The formula is way greasy! and it wears off quickly. Also, both of my sticks broke after only a couple of uses. This is the crappiest package. Don't waste your $$! If you want a good cream shadow. Invest in some MAC paint pots. Those don't crease and blend very nicely on lids.

Mascara -Almay - Get Up and Grow

OMG I'm in love with this mascara! I used it on my honeymoon for 2 weeks straight and I could really tell a difference in the length of my lashes! My lashes felt conditioned and did not fall out as much. I purchased the Blackest Black shade - it was a great carbon black mascara. This stuff really works!!! I will definitely repurchase after this runs out. P.S. to the previous reviewers that are having trouble removing this mascara, use Almay Oil-free eye m/u remover pads. They take off everything and don't irritate my eyes!

Mascara -Revlon - Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara
rated 5 of 5

I love this mascara! It reminds me of DiorShow which I used for a long time but decided to try something cheaper as I'm on a budget these days. I think people have to manage their expectations...this is not Latisse and the results aren't going to be that dramatic but for me, I used it for about 3 weeks straight and I found that my lashes weren't falling out as much which resulted in longer lashes!!! Even without the growing aspect, it is still a good mascara and at the fraction of the cost of Dior! Love it! & I will repurchase.

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Dial Up
rated 5 of 5

Thought this mascara was great! I get the best results on settings 1 & 2 though. Setting 3 gets a little too clumpy. Over all it gives a good clean look on the 1&2 settings and it is good for sensitive eyes/contact lens wearers (which I am) so I will prob repurchase.

Eye Shadow -Almay - Intense i-color w/Interplay Technology- Brown Eye Trio
rated 4 of 5

I bought this product in Trio for Browns - I have brown eyes and dk brown hair. I have to say - I really like it! The peachy color really compliments my brown eyes and the highlighter shade has a beautiful pinky/purple flash in it - (I actually used this all over my entire lid up to the browbone first and then applied the peach shade on lid and dk brown shade as a crease and on the lash line). If you apply it this way I think it gives the best results. The applicator kind of sucks but I always use my own brushes anyway. All in all, I think this is a good product and would purchase again. I'm thinking of buying the green shade as well as I think it would also go w/my brown eyes. The hazel eyes palette looks like it would be a great night time palette too. Oh! and one more thing...the mascara that goes with this is AWESOME! I want to write a separate review for it...It's like Dior show but for a fraction of the price!

Eyeliner -Revlon - ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen
rated 4 of 5
jbsjunkie 5/28/2009 5:49:00 PM

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about....I liked this eyeliner. It glides on nicely. I usually do a little bit of a winged look and then put a bit of dark shadow over to soften the look. This also helps if your hands are unsteady and you draw a bit of a crooked line. I still prefer cream gel liners but this one isn't bad...

Lip Treatments -Revlon - Beyond Natural Liptint SPF 15 ] [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
jbsjunkie 5/23/2008 1:03:00 PM

The Beyond Natural Lip products are my new fave! I usually use prestige products however, the BN liptint formula is comparable if not better than (bc of the price & scent) the MAC & Bobbi Brown versions! The formula is sheer & moisturizing...like a balm with color and l just LOVE the yummy berry scent. I purchased the Deep Berry & Neutral Pink shades. They go perfectly with my dark brown hair and cool complexion. I think that most of the shades are pretty universal though. This is a must have for the summer! I love the Beyond Natural Cream Lipgloss as well. Will write a separate review.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler
rated 4 of 5

I looove this eyelash curler! I've already gone through 3 of them. The only thing I don't like is that it's so expensive and you can't buy replacement rubber things...you have to purchase a whole new curler! Revlon's Beauty Shapers curler is very comparable at a fraction of the price.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets
rated 4 of 5

I have used oil-blotting papers for many years even before they were available in the U.S. I used to buy them in Japan (I have family there). These C&C ones are good bc they're film type as opposed to just paper. They absorb a lot more oil. I just think they are too expensive when you can get the same thing in Japan for $2-2.50. If you ever have friends visiting Japan tell them to buy the Gatsby flim kind. It's a men's line but but it's the same exact product for a fraction of the price! The women's versions always cost about 50-100yen more...I always stock up when I visit Tokyo.
