I just finished dying my hair from dark brown/black to medium blonde. I wasn't expecting it to be exactly like the box color since my hair is dark. Overall it came out nicely, a light brownish blonde color. But you can see the color more on the roots. I used Medium Blonde 800. My hair doesn't feel damaged, it's soft. I got it on sale for 5.99. I bought two boxes because my hair is fairly long (up to under my breast). If you have very long hair you'll have to buy two boxes to make sure the dye covers everything. I would buy this product again but it wouldn't be my first choice.
