My best friends mom is a hair stylist and she was able to get me my baby blue CHI flatiron at a supply store for $49. I had used just a drug store Conair straightener before and found that none really worked the way I wanted it to. I really like my CHI, its easy to use, doesnt damage my hair, takes half as long as my other straighteners did, and travels well. I find that this iron heats up quickly and is really hot. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and with sectioning my hair it only takes about 5 minutes for my whole head of hair. I have had this iron for 2+ years and its just as hot as the first time I used it. As well, the plates dont get annoying buildup like some hot tools do. The only downfall to this iron is that it does not have a heat control. I think my next one will be the CHI digital! Love these irons!

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15

I had used the cetaphil cleanser and wanted to try this product. After a few weeks of using it my face broke out extremely bad to the point that it was painful. As well, it made my face even oiler and felt slimy on my skin.

I live in Canada where out winters are harsh and my skin gets extremely dry. I only use this product in the winter as I find it makes my skin feel a bit sticky. It is extremely moisturizing and smells great.

I had wanted this frangrance for a long time so finally I saved up some money and decided to get it. I absoutely love it!! It smells great and is light. I find that it holds the smell great and I can still smell it come evening. I love the bottle as well.

I love this scent, but use it more for night time then during the day. I work in a facility where we are not allowed to have any frangances so I dont get to wear this often at all. My boyfriend goes crazy when I wear this!

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

I bought this as part of the 3 step system. I have acne prone, oily skin so they lady suggested the gel would be better. I love it. I have never found a better moisturizer for my face which does not cause excess oil. The smell is not that great, and you only need a small amount, therefore, lasting forever.

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto

I did not like this product at all and went into the trash can after a few uses. I found the brush was way to long to be able to apply it. The bristles were sharp and poky. I found you had to apply more then one coat to get any kind of coverage but then it just looked clumpy and spidery. Definetly dont recommend this product for short eyelashes.

I find these do do the job they say they do. However, I find that they dont get rid of everything and often leave my nose extremely dry and i end up with pimples.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

I find this product is easy to apply and I love the full brush. It really helps seperate and define my short lashes. It seems to make them slightly longer and have a bit more volume (I do apply two coats thought) I do find that it tends to smudge a bit more then normal.

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Beeswax Lip Balm

This stuff does wonders for my lips. My lips seem to crack a lot and since I have been using this they dont. I use it during the day and at night before I go to bed. I love the smell and the taste and like that its all natural. Being from Canada, our winter is pretty harsh and often my lips looked awful. Not with this product!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I decided to try this after my favorite mascara, Fantastic Lash, was discontinued. I am not a fan of these 'plastic' brushes and find I always end up poking myself with it. I prefer natural brushes. This mascara gave me scary scary spider lashes and clumps extremely easy. I also found it smudged alot and had to be reapplied often.

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Colorstay 12-Hour Eyeshadow Quad "Blushed Wines"

I like the colors in this quad. I find it does stay on for 12 hours and the colors show up well. I find they go on smooth. I dont use the darkest one as on my fair skin it makes me look awfully scary. I love the other colors though, and use them often.

I love this eye shadow! I love experimenting and mixing the colors. I find there is a great mixture and lots of different looks can be achieved. Goes on smoothly and does last 12 hours. The colors on my eyelids look exactly the same as in the quad.

I use a lot of browns, coppers and tans on my eyes and this quad is perfect for that. I like the variety of colors included. I find that I need to apply quite a bit to make it show up.

I dont use this as an eye shadow but rather smudge it over my black eyeliner. I really like how easy it goes on and it doesnt leave black marks on my eyelids.
