I have been using this foundation for about two weeks now. With my BB skincare routine and this BB extra repair foundation with SPF25, my skin feels hydrated all day, luminous and clear. I am loving the radiance and clear effect this foundation does on my complexion and I feel my skin is loving it too! Finally, I am now able to achieve an everyday natural look make up with seemingly radiant skin! I am Asian with skin type: dry on the cheeks, normal on the t-zone. I am also using BB's skincare. I use Hydrating Cream Cleanser to wash off my face in the morning. With dry hands, I take a pea size of the cleanser and smooth over my dry face. I wash off the cleanser with warm water. I use a paper towel over my face to soak up the water. While my face is still moist, I then apply the Hydrating Face Tonic all over. Next, I apply the Extra Repair Serum about 2 to 3 pumps. I apply the Hydrating Eye Cream to wait for the serum to soak in my skin. I then apply a pea size of new Protective Face Lotion all over my face. I wait for the skincare to sink in by blowdrying my hair first. And then I apply make up in this order: I tried two brushes with this Extra Repair Foundation (in Natural), BB's foundation brush and Sephora's Flawless Airbrush #56, and I prefer to use Sephora's brush as the effect is indeed an airbrush look. I then apply BB's corrector (in Light Peach) and BB's concearler (in Natural). While those set, I fix my brows (either Dior Powder Eyebrow Pencil in Brown OR MAC's Fluidline in Dipdown) and I apply Nars eye primer over my lids. My face at this point looks very shiny. Next, I apply BB's pot rouge (Pale Pink). Then I work on my eye make up (BB long-wear Bone on the lids and eye shadow powder in Burnt Sugar on the crease OR eye shadow powder in Champagne on the lids and eye shadow powder in Burnt Sugar on the crease OR simply BB long-wear Bronze Sugar). And then I curl my lashes with a good lash curler. By this time, my foundation has set. I then apply powder that goes with the concealer to set it. I apply BB's powder blush next (in Nude Pink). I use a little of BB's bronzer (in Golden Light) on the lower part of my cheekbone to contour, jawline, bridge of my nose, near the temples. And then I set my make up with BB's Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in Warm Natural (sometimes twice, right after I am done with my makeup and right before I leave the house). The final step is the mascara (Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir). This is my signature everyday look. And with BB's skincare and makeup, I am now able to have a natural looking makeup that makes my face looks smooth. The cream and powder blush I use also provides me with the right amount of coloring (pink flush) to achieve the natural look that does not look heavy. The foundation stays all day while working in an airconditioned office. I am now finally content and happy.

Mascara -Chanel - Inimitable Intense Mascara

I purchased this product because another lady bought this at Nordstrom and highly recommended for me to give it a try. I knew the brush will give length as it is similar to MAC's. Chanel's Inimitable Intense Mascara has indeed lengthened and added some volume on my lashes. After reading the reviews here, I followed the suggestion of 1Angel1 to use Shiseido Mascara Base before applying the mascara. I tried the next day as I already have the mascara base. I curled my lashes with Tweezerman and then applied the mascara base. I layer one coat of the mascara which gives enough length that I like a lot. I then apply a second coat light handedly which creates enough volume that does not clump nor gets thick. The combination of these two products did wonders to my lashes and opened my eyes wonderfully. The two combined did not look heavy at all which makes me a happy camper. My HG!

Concealers -Christian Dior - DiorSkin Sculpt Lifting Smoothing Concealer

My 3rd of a series of reviews for CD makeup line. I have this in #3 which blends well with my NC35 skintone. It is not runny but moisturizing/hydrating and lasts all day. As far as I am concerned, a concealer that does not dry my undereyes is an important feature of a good undereye concealer. Using the doe applicator, I dab the product under my eyes at 3 points (near the corner of my eyes, in the middle, and near the outer corner of my eyes) and pat them with my ring finger until I feel that the product has blended well. I have not seen this product settle in fine lines at all. Perfect for my everyday use!

Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 [DISCONTINUED]

This is the second in a series of my review of CD make up line. I have tried many foundations - Lancome, MAC, Laura Mercier, Nars - and so far this makeup has done wonders on my skin! I am an NC35 skintone. Annette, from Nordstrom Arcadia, knew her CD products. She picked up 031 which matched my skintone perfectly! I am using MAC's 190 foundation brush with this foundation and the product blends on my skin smoothly. The foundation is not too sheer neither is it too heavy. The coverage provides more of a natural look which is my preference for everyday use. It has some hyrating properties so the product has not dried out my skin at all (perfect for me as my skin is on the dry side). In fact, the foundation provides some natural glow (not oil) which I am happy about. I put a primer underneath so it helps to keep the foundation stay put all day long (MUFE in neutral color). The product comes with a pump which I like for ease of use and which I find hygienic. I use about 1 to 1 1/2 pumps of this product and the amount provides the coverage I like. It does not totally cover my freckles and sun spots but gives me a beautiful natural smooth skin. Great buy for a great product. It is Dior so of course it is expected to be priced on the higher end. I will definitely buy this product again!

Blush -Christian Dior - DiorBlush Passion Fruit 533

This is my first review with MakeupAlley. I have been a fun of this site and the reviews have been very helpful! This is also first in the series of my review about Christian Dior make up. I have tried so many foundations and blushes out there (mid to high end products). CD line is on the high end and has proven to me that it is so! I am having difficulty finding the best blush color for my NC35 skin tone. I have to pick bright colors to show on my cheeks but for everyday use I would prefer just a flush of color instead of bright hues for a more natural everyday look. I went to Nordstrom in Arcadia and the sales associate of Dior, Anette, knew her stuff! For blush, she picked Passion Fruit which turns out to be the best blush color for my skintone - peachy pink that gives a hint of color with some glow (not at all too bright on my cheeks that gives the look of obvious makeup color). Like the previous reviews, the color has stayed on amazingly and it is already late afternoon! It must be the combination of products underneath - primer and foundation I used this morning: MUFE primer - neutral color and Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup (031). My skin is on the dry side so the combination of these make up blends beautifully on me! Anette also suggested the new Dior Addict Lipstick in Beige Perfection (322). Everything on th colors she chose just blended together so well! What I am also particularly pleased about Dior's blush is that the product is buildable. It is entirely up to you to use it light handedly or with a heavy hand. The product will adjust to your preference. As Passion Fruit is peach-pink, this blush also saves me money to buy another product as it combines and blends orange/pink together beautifully!
