I use it only if I begin it see dry flaky skin on my face, which is rare because I have oily skin but it does happen sometimes. When it does happen I use it once or twice a week until the dry skin is gone. It is too rough on the skin that is on my face, so I don't use it often. Instead I use it for my body twice a week, it leaves the skin feeling amazing!
-I have really oily skin and this stays on throughout the day. The foundation last all days from it time and put it on (which during a school day would be around 6:30 - 7 am) until I get home (around 5pm). So that's about ten hours, put if I were to go out after the ten hour mark I would take it off, wash my face, and reapply. I have try the Revlon color stay but after six hours my face would be so oily but the foundation would slip off and melt away. - Coverage is good, for me I would say it is a medium coverage foundation. I have pigmentation from acne (red spots from where a zit used to be and it take months for it to fade away) and it covers the older, lighter stops but not the recent, darker spots. On days when I want lighter coverage I would mix the foundation with my lotion. It is a matt finish. The only reason I don't give it a five is because when I try to get the foundation to be a full coverage foundation (it hid my spots) it cakes up around the nose and mouth area. -This foundation has a wide range of colors to choose from

It's a life saver, can't leave the house without it!!!!
-Before starting Proactive I used products form the drug store (Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, and a few others) and those didn't work. I would break out on the sides of my face and a few on my chin and forehead (rarely). Right before my period was the worst. -I heard from many that this product did not work for them or that it only worked for the first few months and then their acne come back. That wasn't the case for me. I follow the directions to the dot and it took three months before I began seeing any results. Progress was slow but it has been a little more than two years since I began using the product and my skin is clear. I still do get the a zit or two on the months when my period is really bad, but for most of my periods I don't break out. -Everyone's skin is different and I would recommend using the product for at least three to six months before deciding if the product works or not. The first two weeks my skin got dry, but that went away. - if the regular product is too strong there is a lighter version for sensitive skin or a stronger version if the regular one isn't working for you -I use the regular one
